Black Crows ne respectez pas leur garantie.
Alpinstore était super, mais les skis Black Crows que j'ai achetés étaient de qualité médiocre. Ils ont commencé à se détériorer après seulement 25 heures d'utilisation et Black Crows refuse d'honorer la garantie. Tout d'abord, une grande partie de la queue s'est détachée sur l'un des skis, puis de plus petites parties des extrémités et des queues des deux skis. Je n'achèterai plus jamais de produits Black Crows et je conseillerai toujours à mes proches d'éviter d'acheter des skis et des produits Black Crows. Huit de mes amis ont déjà suivi mon conseil. Si une entreprise fabrique un produit, celui-ci doit être adapté à son usage et elle doit honorer sa garantie.
Alpinstore were great, but the Black Crows skis I bought, were manufactured to a substandard quality. They started to fall apart after just 25 hours of use and Black Crows won't honour the warranty. First a large section of the tail fell out on one, and subsequently smaller sections from the tips and tails of both skis. I would never buy any Black Crows product again and will always advise others to avoid buying Black Crows skis and products. 8 of my friends have already taken my advice. If a company makes a product, it should be fit for purpose and they should honour their warranty.

Ups required a signature. I was traveling for work. I returned to find a notice of "return to sender.
Pretty obnoxious they could have left the bindings or at least given me a pick up location. Can't understand the value in flying bindings back to France to turn around band fly them back to the US. I guess this is how things function when AI is in charge.

Very satisfied with the product and shipping time. My only issue was with the import fee. I was unaware that I was responsible for it and a little heads up would have been nice. Otherwise, solid experience.

Bought a pair of snowboarding boots on…
Bought a pair of snowboarding boots on 6th February. Deliver was promised on 13th February. On 12th February I receive a message of alpinstore not having my products in storage, nothing else. I asked about it and they told me they will be restocking the next week and will deliver the item as soon as they can. I asked if they are able to deliver my items by 20th February, and if not, I want a full refund. I paid extra for the fast shipping, and it's already days late. I haven't received any messages after that, and I doubt I will be getting my boots by this Friday or any other. Get your items elsewhere, if you want a quaranteed delivery.
Edit 25th February: Upgraded the rate from 1 star to 3 stars. Asked them to refund my order, since I hadn't heard from them nor gotten my boots on time. Got my money back relatively fast (2 days)

Extra charges added at time of delivery…. I refused the delivery as a result
I ordered and paid a large shipping charge at that time. Upon delivery I was told there was an additional large charge which I refused to pay as I was not told about this extra charge at the time I ordered. I refused the package and I want a full refund including shipping charges.

Great service and goods arrived before they said it would...would use again.
No response from customer service
Mainly, with getting back to me on a package shipment. I purchased an item and it was shipped. I was not home top sign for the package and after multiple attempts the package was set to return to ALPINSTORE. (That is not the fault of ALPINSTORE.) After, finding out the package was set to be returned, I reached out to customer service multiple times to figure out how to get the package resent to me. After several emails over the past week and half, I have received zero feed back from customer service.

Clear pricing and quick delivery to UK
Poor sizing
I bought a patagonia jacket Women's medium and the length of the sleeves was absurdly long. I have a number of these jackets in other colours to compare with and they all have a normal sleeve length. I tried to find an email to send customer services about it but after looking for 10mins on the web-site I give up. The jacket's logo is also frayed at the edges.

Deceptive pricing
If you are a UK buyer, the is a small flag at checkout that you need to pay UK VAT (at delivery), which is fine. What they do not tell you is that there is also an admin surcharge, which in my case amounted to another 30% payable at delivery (on top of the 20% VAT). And finally, shipping for high value items is not free for the UK.
Not a great experience and feels like deceptive advertising: a £140 advertised price ended up being £226, of which £71 were payable at delivery.

The Dolomite boots are well made, they arrived quickly (within a few days), the price made them exceptionally good value. All in all, great service from Alpinstore.

EU law/refund policy issue
I was about to place an order with Alpinstore, but I decided not to after reading their return policy. Their terms clearly state that for orders under €150 they refund customers via a voucher valid for 12 months, and only refund to the original payment method for orders above €150. This is not acceptable for an EU-facing webshop and appears to be in direct conflict with EU consumer law on the right of withdrawal. Under EU rules, when a customer withdraws from an online purchase, the seller must refund using the same payment method, unless the consumer explicitly agrees to an alternative. A voucher/store credit cannot be imposed as the default. This policy is misleading, discourages legitimate returns, and puts unnecessary pressure on consumers. I strongly recommend anyone in the EU to read the terms carefully before ordering, especially if your order is below €150.
