Amazon India has become the worst in delivery when its core biz is “delivery”.
Deliveries are almost always late , missing, lost and very often says “delivered” when it isn’t delivered .
Customer service is polite but useless in actual resolution

Refund denied despite returning original Skechers shoes

I ordered a pair of Skechers shoes (₹12,499) from Amazon India. After receiving the product, I returned it through the official Amazon return process. The pickup and return were completed successfully.

However, Amazon has denied my refund, claiming that the returned item is “completely wrong,” which is incorrect. I returned the exact same item I received.

All proofs of return and order are available. Despite following all procedures, my refund has still not been issued.

Worst stupid customer service I've ever seen they gave me the deadline to resolve my issue they looted my gold voucher and saying stories to me, supervisor i guess name is Ruksha or someone i don't remember but these people seriously eat our money I'll email to Jeff bezos and campaign against Amazon.

THIRD CLASS AMAZON INDIA…

I should say AMAZON India is a third class e-commerce store especially AMAZON INDIA. Am not referring to international amazon stores. They are perfect on time delivery, no return/refund issues always prompt. Great customer service. But once you are on the India store, you will be shocked by their services. They stock third-grade items from random road side sellers who have gone online. Thanks to tech. Then you need to be careful as refund is not always guaranteed. They add replacement instead of refund. Never did i come across such an option on international amazon stores. Thats why I say its a shit commerce platform

Amazon.in are cheaters and liars

I ordered boat earpods from Amazon.in and was scheduled to recieve them on 3rd September 2025 (my Birthday) instead I received some baby magnetic toy. Asked for a replacement which was scheduled today 6th September 2025. Nothing came abd order status was delivered. Followed on chat and call back but use less. Only fake commitments and lying. Asked for a refund and even that process is complicated.... I'm done with Amazon.in

Disappointing Customer Service

I have been a loyal Amazon customer and Prime member for many years, but this is the first time I have experienced such disappointing customer service. During my recent interaction, I was treated very poorly by a chat support agent, and I felt insulted by the way the conversation was handled.

What upsets me even more is that I did not receive a proper resolution to my issue even after I reached out to the manager after waiting for 20 minutes on call. As a long-standing Prime member, I truly expected better service and support. Unfortunately, this experience has left me very dissatisfied and has made me question the service standards and policies that I once trusted Amazon for.

I am highly disappointed with Amazon’s…Complaint Against Amazon – Prime Membership Service Failure



I am highly disappointed with Amazon’s service despite being a Prime Member.

Order ID: 403-0390048-4590738 (Placed on 27th August)
Delivery date was 28th August, but the product never arrived. Still, the status showed “Delivered.”
There was no customer care number available on the website or app to contact directly. The only option was to raise a query, which I did continuously for 4 days with zero resolution. After 4 days, finally, a customer care contact option appeared and only then my refund was processed.

Order ID: 403-4148856-9701166 (Placed on 1st September)
Delivery date was shown as 2nd September → Not delivered.
Rescheduled to 3rd September → Again not delivered.
Now it shows 4th September. How long should a Prime Member keep waiting?

This is unacceptable and frustrating. I paid for Prime Membership to get fast and reliable delivery, but instead, it has only wasted my time, money, and trust.

Questions to Amazon:

Why is “Delivered” being shown when no product is received?

Why is there no direct and accessible customer care number?

Why are Prime members facing such repeated delivery failures?

If this continues, I will have no choice but to escalate this issue publicly across social media and consumer forums. I expect Amazon to take immediate action and ensure such harassment does not happen again.

Amazon not verifying product delivery, they just believe delivery team and no proof of delivery available

Recently I have returned to India and ordered this product in Amazon. On August 31st I got an email saying product delivered when we check at the door and checked with Apartment security and came to know that no person came for delivery. I called Amazon customer care and they are saying product delivered and investigation completed but didn't show any proof of delivery. I have called Amazon customer care multiple time but they aren't helping. Please do not order this product, eighter product or delivery is scam. Below questions I have asked Amazon but didn't get answer

-> We are at home and why Delivery boy didn't reached our flat.
-> Delivery person should ask my name and confirm the address before delivering. Why this was not happend ?
-> Ordered value Rs ₹8,386.70 Why Deliver person didn't asked for ID proof or atleast ask for signature ?
-> No proof was shared for Delivery then how Amazon confirmed Product delivered ?
-> Amazon customer care said investigation completed and product delivered then what are the proofs Amazon got from 3rd party Delivery team ?
-> With out any proof how Amazon is blindly trusting 3rd party Delivery team ?
-> I have asked Amazon customer care to share Delivery agent phone or office details but Amzon denied why ??
-> Amazon don't have proof of Delivery and they don't share Delivery team details how can a Customer chase for lost item ??

I was supposed get Mogu mogu juice,9 bottles,but when I saw that the item was delivered to me via security,I went and checked every where and it was confirmed by the security of non delivery and amazon insistence of delivery is stunning.And they refused to refund my money back also as I approached 5 days after the supposed delivery date.My suspicious is that the delivery person stole the item and Amazon india doesn't care to investigate nor refund my money back. No item, partial refund only

An item didn't arrive in December. Over the 8 months since I've contacted CS at least ten times and spoken to multiple agents per session.

Finally, they processed a partial refund - but the item never arrived, so this is incorrect. Despite trying repeatedly to get the rest refunded and being assured it'll arrive in 2-4 hours the money never comes through. Complete waste of time

AMAZON IS CORRUPT INCOMPETANT SINKING SHIPWRECK, horrible pathetic customer support

I want to give 0 out of 5.
They have been cancelling all my orders for over an year now, they let me place orders then cancel after 5 minutes citing "violation of return refund policies" when there has been none whatsoever. The customer care has zero authority (to escalate or email), they say write email to ofm team and they will reply in2 days they havent replied to any email of mine for over 10 days, customer care waste 30 minutes with same stupid questions and no resolution, after this long long now one customer care made me wait for 30 minutes and said the team says there was a suspicious login on my account then why all of amazon emails to me say "violation of return refund". It's been over 10 days they have not refunded Rs 19850 amount, the customer care after making me wait for 30 minutes say its was already initiated 10 days back and then new customer care says some technical issue yet the entire amount shows up as outstanding amount on my credit card, they said i can create another account with same phone number different email which you cant. I think post besoz leaving this company has become rat s**t they dont know how to solve a bug, how will they when they are unable to find issue, leave that im sure they are not even working because of having downright unprofessional etiquettes to reply on mail within an sla of 48 hours.

Repeated Delivery Failures & Poor Support – Moving Away from Amazon India

I’ve been an Amazon India customer for years, but my recent experiences have been unacceptable.

Two orders in August 2025 from the same seller failed with the exact same “shipping problem” message and were returned without a delivery attempt.

Twice this year orders were marked “delivered” in the app but never reached me — I had to chase for redelivery or cancellation.

Delivery issues are common: sometimes the delivery person doesn’t even call before marking the order as “unreachable,” and in some cases they call from downstairs instead of delivering to my home.

Customer support is inconsistent: agents redirect instead of resolving, give conflicting information, transfer to wrong departments, end chats abruptly, and in one case became defensive when I mentioned escalation.

The same seller having shipping or delivery issues twice in a few days points to either a serious seller reliability issue or a fulfilment process failure.

I’m sharing this so other customers are aware. I no longer trust Amazon India’s delivery process and will gradually move my purchases to other platforms.
