Nothing seems to work right

Nothing seems to work right. At Amazon Fresh in Chevy Chase, Md. large sign over avocados says "4 for $5" but price comes up as $5.08. Explanation? Tax. But there is no tax on food items, and if there were, it would be $5.30. Stouffer's dinners up to 11.5 oz. are advertised as "2 for $5" But no Stouffer's exist in 11.5oz, most are 12 oz, and at check-out the full price shows up. Have to waste time going to Customer service; money is refunded but basically they don't seem to care. Overall, there is only one item in the store that is consistently cheaper than elsewhere and that is milk. But virtually all other items are more expensive than other stores. Not worth the time or trouble,

Poor systems. Poor customer service

The store advertises in big onsite signage that all milk and yogurt is 25% off. No discount shows up on the dash cart. You ask an associate. They tell you it will get adjusted as you checkout your dash cart. No discount! You think it will get reflected on the receipt in the app. You get home and check the receipt. No discount. You request a call from customer service through the app. Customer service call back is prompt but after 15 minutes of going back and forth she says that the system is not allowing her to make the correction that I will need to call the store directly. I hangup and look for the store number. The listed phone number for every single Amazon fresh store is one 800 phone number. So I call that number and ask them to connect me to the store. They say they cannot connect me and that I will have to call them directly at, guess what, the same 800 number. And she politely suggests that she will stay on the line while I call that 800 number. I tell her that is the number that I have called and that is why she's talking to me. She's all confused. Then she starts validating my authenticity like as if I've called my bank or my credit card company. Then she finds out from the Amazon fresh department that the only way to solve the issue is for me to go back to the store. There we are. Back in the stone age. If Amazon Fresh goes the way of the dinosaurs, it will have nothing to do with the economy or the competition.

I ordered and got 2 random orderes for…

I ordered and got 2 random orderes for different addresses. I called them since food is a necessity thinking they would instantly send a new batch or refund a credit. NOPE. My receipts of the peoples food I got and order numbers isn’t enough for their “investigations” so I have to lose food and my money to feed my 3 kids for days until they decide what to do when clearly I have proof in my hand and I sent them and they will not help me. This company is horrible. Customer service is even worse are they serious? Johnelectric93 is my account for Amazon. I need this resolved or I’m going to post this everywhere. This is sad very sad. Hiring people they can’t read English then blaming the customer for their mishaps. No way

Expired Food

How can a company that employs so many be so careless regarding expired food? You can not deliver FOOD, especially something like deli meat that can carry bacterias like listeria.
Also, how can putting sliced bread in the same bag as raw meat? It's obvious the company does not prioritize customers health safety, nor does its employees.
I have had numerous issues like poorly packed eggs resulting in egg gooh all over the bag and it's contents. Also, dripped fruit juices bags. I am done!
Just spent $360 and got expired Smoked Ham deli meat of about 20 days pasted the stamped date.

I will shop with FreshDirect, no AmazonFresh again!

Big Tip for Bad Service Can't Be Undone

Forget about using Amazon Fresh. My order came yesterday with smashed tortilla chips and stale produce. Amazon automatically gave the delivery person a $10 tip. The order detail includes a link to edit the tip amount after delivery, but the link doesn't work. Called Amazon customer service about this and they transferred me to Amazon Fresh customer service. After relating the tip issue over again to yet another person with a heavy foreign accent, I was told nothing could be done to fix the edit link. I was offered a $5 discount for my trouble, which did not really resolve the core issue--bad service does not deserve a nice tip. Just couldn't get the agent to understand this. So the edit link is still not working and it probably never did or ever will. Amazon customer service = no service. Also, no way to reach the delivery person to make them aware of the bad service. I will crawl to the store myself before using Amazon Fresh again.

No Complaints From Me!

I'm not reviewing the delivery service, but their individua products. So far, the ones I've tried are very good, as good as big-name ones (for instance, Amazon Fresh hazelnut spread is just as good - if not better - than Nutella). I've ordered both a name brand instant coffee (Maxwell House) and Amazon's own brand (Happy Belly), and the Happy Belly is actually better tasting. In fact, I'm drinking a cup while I'm writing this!

I've also tried their oatmeal, canned fruits and veggies, and cookies and I plan to order them all again! The prices are great, too!

Don't use Amazon prime or Amazon fresh moldy food don't deliver at all lose money

We have been ordering consistently from Amazon prime the deliveries are broken up. They never deliver everything at one time they deliver bad fruit they picked bad moldy fruit. I would never use the service. You think. Amazon is good, but they're not they know nothing about the food business don't deliver. We had an order we're expecting a hurricane. It was supposed to be delivered Today texted my husband saying it was deliverable because they didn't recognize the address we live in a hotel Saint Regis, which is known all in our area. They have delivered here many times they pick rotten vegetables and fruits. They don't deliver what you order. Call customer service they couldn't even speak English , they told us they didn't have a time slot available we're expecting a hurricane in a day. We have no food we asked for some money back. They said they would try to refund our money. They are the worst service on earth do not bother using them because you'll get rotten food, moldy food and you'll get your food delivered in plastic bags which causes toxic fumes in plastic bottles. Let me tell you, I used to like going to Whole Foods but delivery service sucks. Do not use them. You'll waste your money. I had to throw out a whole cantaloupe packages watermelon $30 worth of fruit and they don't deliver so what good are they Bezos? What are you doing with this company you are ruining it it was never good to begin with please people do not use prime Amazon prime or any of the other ones Amazon fresh or any delivery service from Amazon thank you so much

Amazon fresh delivered a wrong item…

Amazon fresh delivered a wrong item (delivered Cassia instead of Cinnamon). When reported about the issue they said it's beyond 48 hrs and cannot be replaced or refunded. I understand they have a return window but this doesn't change the fact that they delivered a wrong product and no action is taken on reporting the issue. Not satisfied with their service.

From fulfilled to unrequited.

I once was a fan but now I’m disgruntled. You can no longer expect speedy delivery. You will be highly disappointed. The groceries are bagged poorly sometimes. It could be due to a worker shortage or role challenges but who knows; do we care? When it comes to feeding my family, I honestly don’t care! One star!

My last two Amazon Fresh Direct were…

My last two Amazon Fresh Direct were horrible. Today, my order was delayed by three hours. Last week, the milk I ordered came with an expiration date that was 6 days old. Called Amazon and they said they would send a replacement. They did; that expiration date was also 6 days old, so I got a refund. Amazon Fresh Direct has gotten so terrible. If you live in the Jersey City, Hoboken, Newark, or Elizabeth, New Jersey area, I would not order from them. You will be so upset and frustrated with the way they do business. It's horrible.

Rotten Food, 9PM Delivery Several Hours Late After Midnight

Since 2020 I have relied on Amazon Fresh for groceries. They consistently have a terrible service, most times nothing goes according to plan. For example tonight I placed an order at 6PM and have been waiting for the order to arrive between a 9-10PM delivery window. They packed my order several hours ago, but the order never went out for delivery. Finally I called support to make sure everything was alright. They said they will “not have an update until 12:30 AM.” The customer service confirmed my cold groceries have been sitting in a driver’s car for several hours now, including eggs and cream. Not only have I missed dinner tonight, but all my fresh groceries are now spoiled. And I still have to wait for it all to be delivered - over 5 hours now and counting! Plus they are inconsiderate and do not care if my neighbors will be disrupted as they now plan to arrive in the middle of the night. My dog will be barking! The Amazon support agent was so robotic and just kept repeating “there’s been a delay.” They would not even cancel the order when I explained that it was all too much to deal with. So they expect me to sit here on my Saturday night and wait for spoiled groceries, and to call them back to “discuss the issue of the spoiled items,” after the order has arrived. It is infuriating. I plan to cancel my Amazon account after this. This is not the first time I have sworn to never order Amazon Fresh again, but I must remember how unprofessional this service is. Often they deliver fruits/vegetables that are not fresh and going bad. I have also had them deliver many items such as bread that are nearly expired. They did not even bother to notify me of the delay so that I could go get take out when restaurants were still open tonight. Breakfast will also now be spoiled for tomorrow and it has pretty much ruined the weekend. I am not always off on weekends, so this is especially disappointing to have so much sweet time wasted by Amazon. The opposite of “Fresh” and the opposite of convenient. I thought maybe it was just me with these constant issues, but I see their ratings are so low it really is Amazon.

Amazon Fresh ...the best for grocery delivery…

Had been getting my groceries using my Walmart + , but they never had all the items . Would order 15 items , 5 would be unavailable . Not once was my order completed as paid for . Just ordered 38 items with Amazon Fresh .....has every single item ...delivered on time , packed neatly . They have my grocery orders from now on

I can’t believe they can’t see my…

I can’t believe they can’t see my address on their app - I saw them - they were at another house dropping off my groceries to a random person. Took me a while to find chat online - and they are issuing a refund - but will take a few days!! I tried the contact driver when I saw they were down the street but that didn’t work. It was my first and last time using this service or should I say trying to use this service. Ugh. So upsetting - we have technology to locate an address. Cmon do better

They cannot read an order correctly…

They cannot read an order correctly enough to fill it correctly. When you order two boxes of toddler, meals with 8 in each box and they deliver 2 little tiny trays there's a problem. Tried to correct it and got two more little trays the next day. So 4 out of 16 meals. Just because you come in the country and get a job doesn't mean you can do it right.

My mom ordered $150 worth of groceries and got someone elses order. She’s older so she has trouble contacting customer service and they don’t make it easy. I had to do it for her and they didn’t give her the correct order same day. Had to wait till the following day.

Like everything else in life

It was great for the first 6 months (Denver metro) . Then I received a delivery 3 hours late. A few items were sketchy to eat so I tossed them. Then , today, got a text it was going to be 2 hours late. I work where I live so whatever. They canceled the order, and I canceled the service. Maybe the driver got deported. Who knows??

Customer service at Amazon Fresh on Shady Grove Rd, Gaithersburg

We were shopping at Amazon Fresh on Shady Grove Rd the first time on Aug 20 around 5:00 pm. Tried to use Apple Pay at self checkout, the staff there said to me “you have to use the actual card”. I said “I don’t know I can’t. Your machine has a tap sign.” She said “I know more than you do. I’m more educated than you are. I’m a lawyer.” Customer service associate was so rude. No more shopping there anymore.

Not Worth IT

Drivers have names I can't even pronounce. Why in the world, as a customer would I put myself in a position to call the driver to ask where my order is?!! Customers should be able to call Amazon Fresh without having to spend hours finding a way to call customer service. Drivers do not know how to read English either, as my groceries are always placed on the wrong porch (I have a note stating where they go). They are always late!! Bags have been opened. Refrigerated items have been warm to touch and I have had to throw items out. Bread items smashed and eggs cracked. I recently had my entire order not even delivered. They blamed it on not being able to locate my address. I've had at least 6 deliveries prior. Calling customer service is a joke. Takes days for a refund. In this economy, we don't have days to wait on money to spend on groceries. I do not recommend Amazon Fresh. I will not be using them once my free trial is up. I do not feel valued or safe as a customer.

I am confused

I am confused. Amazon fresh cancelled my order for no reason. There are many groceries on it. Now my app shows food items still coming. I have spent an hour trying to get items cancelled, so I don't buy them again at Frys. The Amazon rep even got confused.
My previous order from Amazon Fresh 3 months ago was delivered to my driveway- 50 feet from my front door.
Amazon Fresh sucks with confusion. Don't order from them. Fry's is much better.
