No service

I bought an AMD graphics card and a week later it was not working anymore. AMD never offered me any service. I contacted them several times and I was only allowed silences or automatic answers.

AMD Ryzen 5 2600X

I use the AMD Ryzen 5 2600X and I it's working just fine for me. I use it with an MSI motherboard and a Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB which runs the games I want at max graphics and no lag. I am very happy with my puchase.

Many say that AMD is a poor man's Intel. They're not completely wrong, it is much cheaper but you get a good processor for that price. My processor is a 3.6 GHz and I have an SSD for my windows 10 so I get a fast start up and quick responses. Chrome doesn't faze the CPU so I can't complain for such a great price.

I recommend the Ryzen 5 or 7 series rather than intel. I think they're budget CPU's with great power behind them. Well worth the price.

Great Customer Service!

I should have done this a while ago, but better late than never.

My PC just wouldn't allow me to log in; I called AMD and Martin stayed on the phone for almost an hour sorting out my login problem, and then also helping me with my graphics update.

Thanks guys!

NO UPDATES - - NEVER EVER - under no circumstances!!!

Well, our company has purchased a brand new HP Pavillion @ £600 at Currys end of December 17. It had AMD dual output card with 7 and 5 series for monitor and HDMI output. Worked fine for a month with some expensive and (some of it) single license software for just over 30 days when AMD Radeon software offered to upgrade the software and drivers to the latest available version.

We updated ..... customers waiting without being able to place the orders, computer failed to see the hardware after around 6 hours of trying to fix it, support responded the next day..... it wasted days work for all of us and caused chaos in the office since it was used as a main computer...

We have tried all tricks including rolling off drivers - nothing....

Took it back to Currys, they charged £60 to fix it. Picked it up today after being told it has been fix just to realise that it was not when got back to the office and connected it. Took it back to Currys for a complete re-install in a hope this would fix the issue.

Checked the AMD End User Agreement - all users use the software at their own risk and AMD are not responsible for anything - so we are left with all the implications and costs on our own.

So, next time your phone or PC offers an update - decline it if everything works fine or you may end up where we have!

Well, if I say it is a total waste of time - I would say nothing at all. So much lost time and money for 'excuse my French' a bunch of DIYers being lazy to test the software properly before releasing it.... and then not taking responsibilities for that....

Where have the old days gone??? people used to be brave enough to take responsible for their own actions....

I personally would not touch any of the AMD products again for the rest of my life and would not recommend it to anyone... prefer NVIDIA products

Very very very disappointed with products and services...

Great company and excellent products

AMD is a great company, I have bought 3 processors from them and not been disappointing. One of the processors they sent me had heating issues and burnt out after i installed it, they got to my response in 3 hours and sent me a new one for free. Now that is how you do great business. Fast, efficient, and affordable products. Why buy from Intel? AMD offers the same thing but better and almost half the price.
