Apartment Barcelona rentals is our family business and we specialize in all kinds of accommodations in Barcelona city; for holidays, business, studies… We started from scratch, as we ourselves designed all of the apartments to be able to offer a wide range of styles, all in the best locations in Barcelona ( Gràcia, Sant gervasi, Eximaple , Rambla de Catalunya ) most of them with amazing terraces and swimming pools.

Very slow to return the deposit.

Service isn't too bad. The people are nice and can be reached on WhatsApp. It did take a lot of pushing to finally get my deposit back after two and a half months. Legally it's supposed to be one month, so be aware.

I rented an apartment in Barcelona…

I rented an apartment in Barcelona from Atemporal through Spotahome and I can only warn anyone to do the same. Renting a place without seeing it first is a high risk because Spotahome and atemporal who listed the apartemnt at Spotahome don’t do much if there are problems with the listing. Atemporal was responsible for the listing which “forgot” to mention that the landlord has a building site right next to the apartment of which atemporal knew. The loud noise (hammering, sawing, drilling) each and every day with the exception of Sundays from morning to evening makes any kind of home office impossible. Atemporal said they knew about it but trusted the landlord who said the building site would be over at the time of moving in. At the time of moving in (September 3) the building site was in full swing and it is ever since no end in sight (October 8).
In other words: Don't rent an apartment without seeing it because once you signed the contract you are hooked and don’t expect any help from Atemporal. They are just interested in collecting the rent and give you some friendly words. Bear in mind you are not allowed to see the apartment before signing the contract. It is very important in such a situation to have a reliable and serious agency on the other end. Atemporal doesn’t prove to be such an agency so be aware when renting from them.

Really bad experience

Really bad experience! We rented an apartment with them and they dont say all the bad things about the apartment. It´s impossible to live in that apartment and they dont return our deposit money. IT'S A SCAM!!

DREADFUL EXPERIENCE

DREADFUL EXPERIENCE
In September my daughter and I and some friends went to Barcelona for a long awaited trip which ended up being a nightmare.

We complained a number of times during our stay and again upon checkout and via the Booking.com app once home.

We have since been advised that we will not be receiving our deposit back due to breaking house rules, which we did NOT!

What they accuse us of formed part of our complaint and is an absolute insult.

We had a number of knocks to the door accusing us of being to noisy, yet they could see that it was not us and we told them it was the men next door.  We complained on many/many occasions about the smell of weed/pot coming from next door so we hardly used the garden area.  We also complained as the men next door were using water guns and firing them over the fence when we went out to into the garden to take photos before going out for the afternoon/evening. Nothing was done. Thankfully we were out during the afternoon/evening as had plans.

The blinds in the living room were broken, so made it difficult to sleep. Also we were in a built up area so the apartments all around could see into our living space where the sofa beds were, giving absolutely no privacy.  We spoke to the office about this and they said there was nothing they could do as the control was broken! I had very little sleep due to this, you could see into other apartments whilst in bed we made me feel completely uncomfortable.

One of the sofa beds were broken and one was very temperamental and broke on the last night!

The kettle didn’t work, but this was replaced on the second day.

The kitchen was not adequately equipped for 9 people, for example the oven only had one shelf so you were unable to eat together.

The pool was dirty and didn’t get cleaned until the second day, but because we we’re getting accused of noise and the smell of weed we only used it once, for about 10 minutes!

We complained again at check out and as a way of apologising they did not charge us to hold our luggage until later in the day when we had arranged transfer to airport.

When I returned home I contacted the apartment requesting a formal response to our complaint, I was told that the security deposit would not be refunded because of the noise complaints (they knew that it was not us!) and we received no response to our complaint.

When contacting Booking.com, we also had a poor experience.  They contacted the apartment office was firstly told we were not getting a refund of the security deposit as we were noisy, then when we challenged this we were accused of smoking, then finally we were accused of having a party. None of us smoke nor did we have any parties!

I would strongly recommend you avoid staying at the apartments as it was an awful experience and Booking.com have not helped at all.

The apartment and location were a good fit for our family.

The apartment was very spacious for our family of 5. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed except for the washer and dryer, which was downstairs and shared by the tenants in the building. We were close to the market and walking distance to many restaurants. The beach was about a 30 minute walk.

Ideal rental

Located in a lovely quiet and calm area of Barcelona, you still get to do a lot !

I enjoyed the atmosphere and decoration of the apartment !

Beds have a good size. We had enough dishes for all of us which was great.

washing machine and dishwasher are great plus !
