3 failed exactly the same

I have now had 3 apple watches (series 2, se and series 8) and each one has failed in the same way. If the watch is left uncharged for over 2 weeks the watch is dead, wont charge, wont power up again, useless, apple dont want to know even though they have all been less than 1 year old. Disgusting quality for the high price they charge for these useless products. Leave it for 2 weeks, try charging l, the watch gets extremely hot and just keeps going through the boot up woth the apple logo on the screen. Would never recommened anyone to buy any apple watch as 3 different ones all have failed in the same way and all within 1 year of owning. Terrible quality chinese scrap sold at top prices.

I bought an Apple Watch Series in march 2023
Another Apple product that is a total waste of money just rubbish fist of all the button on the side you couldn’t press it I was on the Gold Coast in march took it in to have it checked out (by the way extremely rude) just robotic when they speak to you like your worthless but little do they know they are the ones that are inexperienced in how to communicate with the public… well they took my watch she said can’t remember her name she washed it under the tap 😳said it’s fixed
I’ve come back to Bali as I spend a lot of my time here and I like to have my watch for the gym well while I was at the gym the alarm went off couldn’t turn it off had to press reset that was it never to work again so nearly 900 aud dollars later
What another piece of crap
And it says you can swim 50 meters well what a load of garbage I called Apple they said its misleading 😳you can’t really swim with it
What another piece of worthless crap
I’m so angry because Apple Powerbeats a failure and Apple I watch a bigger failure so I’ve spent all this money to have a worthless couple of pieces of useless rubbish
Apple Store in Australia should have replaced it instead they failed miserably
What a joke people are disillusioned about these products
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE

My cardiologist recommended the…

My cardiologist recommended the utilization of an Apple Watch to utilize its ECG function for monitoring abnormal heart rhythms. While acknowledging the function's imperfections, he indicated its potential diagnostic value. Subsequently, when encountering a malfunction in the ECG feature covered under warranty, I visited an Apple Store for resolution. However, the technical issue persisted, prompting a call with an Apple representative for troubleshooting. During the conversation, upon disclosing my pacemaker status, the representative declined assistance, citing Apple's precautionary stance against ECG usage for individuals with pacemakers due to inconclusive results. Despite highlighting my physician's endorsement of the specific device, the representative remained firm in her decision not to troubleshoot. Clarification confirmed the absence of safety concerns, yet the refusal to address the warranty-related issue persisted. This situation leaves me with a nonfunctional device, creating a perception of discrimination based on my medical condition. Furthermore, the inquiry into my health status raises concerns regarding HIPAA compliance. While there may be disclosures regarding compatibility, they were not prominently displayed during my purchase process. Similar issues reported online, echoing the conversation with the Apple representative, hint at a scripted response. Notably, the suggestion to have my spouse utilize the device for potential repair underscores a misunderstanding of its intended user. A prompt resolution to the technical problem is imperative to avoid potential legal recourse for breach of warranty and discrimination by Apple. I’ll never buy Apple products again!

Bad choice for me

I have been using Fitbit for many years and I have decided to change for an iWatch series 9 to treat myself. I have chosen the stainless steel gold finish that looks very smart
After almost 4 months I am not impressed at all.
My Fitbit was detecting the type of exercise on its own very quickly, iWatch absolutely ignores that I am training if I do not select any workout even if my heart rate goes over 165. The only thing that gets detected is walking but nothing more for my experience.
On the other hand if I remember to select the activity there are many choices.
Sleep tracker also is very poor. It looks like it doesn’t track if I do not select a sleep schedule. Also if I weak up and walk for few mins shows that I slept all night. Impossible as I weak up constantly so I stopped wearing it at night.

Looks good and smart even if too big for my small wrist but I do not think I make the most of it. Great for paying and receive notifications but I need to remember to charge it every day. Charging time is short so usually by the time I have a shower it’s fully charged.
Good to control music from my wrist and the double tap can be very useful. I am not sure why doesn’t work all the time.
Great to have all linked with my phone but I wish I never bought it.
I thought I could sell it back but it looks like I would get 30% of the value even if immaculate so I will keep it.

I think is still a good smart watch but probably is not right for me.

Apple Watch Ultra may have saved my life.

In August ‘23, I purchased an Apple Watch Ultra.
Setup was Apple easy.
The Alpine Loop strap attached to the light weight watch makes for the most comfortable wear experience, day and night.
Health benefits have been enormous and possibly life saving.
Almost immediately the watch alerted me to the possibility of AF.
Blood and sleep anomalies were also indicated.
Subsequently these conditions have been medically diagnosed and are being treated.
My Doctor was so impressed by the watch and has actually bought himself an Ultra 2 recently.

The fitness tracker is really poor compared to other products. Not much information is saved, they want you to link the watch to a different app Strava etc. if you don’t you do t get much information about your work out. Just time and steps. Not impressed

Horribly battery for a big name!!! 3 failures

I have already lost an Apple Watch because of the battery. However it was two years old. I thought it doesn’t make any sense to claim. I have another new watch which is just three months old and today it is losing battery percentage within one hour. The same is happening with the Apple Watch of my wife.

Great overall, but be careful sleeping with it on

I have the series 8 45mm in midnight. Overall I enjoy the watch and really like the health app for keeping track of various things. I like the larger face and don’t have any issues reading or viewing things on it. The band is comfortable and I barely notice it. The large sensor on the bottom can become kind of uncomfortable after a while. I thought I’d enjoy the sleep tracking, and I did, but after two nights of sleeping with the watch on I had to desist from that. I liked the data, but when I woke up on the second morning my wrist was in a lot of pain. Not discomfort but really hurt. The sensor must have been pressing right into my wrist as I slept and it actually bothered me for several days afterwards. I actually was sore after the first night and I thought maybe I just got into a bad sleeping position. I didn’t wear it tight either. I definitely won’t sleep with it on again which is a shame.

Apple watch does not come with a charger that connects to a normal socket

Why when buying an apple watch is it not clear before or during the process that you need to buy a charger as it does not come with one. Aside from making extra profit. It is not clear anywhere on the site that I could see.
Why not add an important message and a line in the basket after purchasing to check if you need to add one to your order.
My daughter got a birthday present that is unusable until it can be charged up. So we have ordered one from amazon for next day delivery. This obviously does not save the planet but adds to the environmental costs.
Other products I buy would do this and let you know there may be other things you need to get the item to work.
For a large company like apple this should be in the process somewhere

Worst ever apple customer service as they approach you as if you are a liar. They say your watch has no issues when clearly there is an issue. Test run but everything passed so, the Apple support team treats you as a liar. Ordered 2 apple watches and one has been delivered. The other one in a couple of weeks. Happy enough with the actual watch but disgusted yet again by apple not including a full charger. Had to order a couple at an extra cost of £26. Until they arrive I can’t charge this watch. Nearly £1000 and can’t charge it. It’s pathetic. Come on Apple. Up your game and stop being so stingy.

Decent hardware, terrible operating system

Decent hardware but, like most Apple products, poor operating system. My Series 7 Watch consistently has the following problems:

--Vibrate mode on the alarm works about 2-3 days then stops working. So if you phone and watch are on Sleep mode (which clearly it should be) the alarm does not vibrate on the watch and the alarm does not sound. Thus, you have no functioning alarm. The remedy is to reboot the phone daily. Very amateur.

--The connection to Apple Music is very clunky and often fails to connect.

These 2 features are the most used features on the device and often fail. These OS failures are endemic of many Apple hardware products and something you might expect in a Series 1 or 2 product. But Series 7? Amateur.

STEALING FROM ME via my installment loan!!!!

I have an Apple Card with Goldman Sachs. I have an installment loan for an Apple Watch that is charged to my card every month. They have withdrawn $89 dollars from my account, but not as a charge, just removing it from my balance and they have not applied it to my installment loan. Therefore stealing $89 from my account. Now they have changed the amount that I have paid. So instead of my loan page showing that I paid $234 dollars towards my loan, which it has shown for months, from 2/22-5-22. It now, as of June 1, 2022 says I’ve only paid $179. Bringing the total amount of money they have stolen from me to $120. They also extended the terms of my loan by three months for no reason. My final payment was scheduled for 5/23 and now the system has it scheduled for 8/23. So if I do not hear from anyone, Goldman Sachs will steal a total of $180 from me over the course of my loan. I have called day after day for months on end beginning on March 1, 2022. I have worked with at least 10 different supervisors, 15 different reps and NO ONE HELPS ME!!!!! I have filed disputes, complaints and NOTHING!!!! Every person who I speak with I have to start from square one… there is no consistency of help and I have wasted over 20 hours on the phone with no result. I need someone to contact me who is above the position of supervisor and can resolve this issue ASAP!! It has been almost 4 months of me calling almost daily with NO HELP!!! Every month Goldman Sachs steals more money from me and it is unacceptable!!

Apple Watch you will have to pay for a plug so you can charge the thing up

I had the same problem with mine as a the last review was complaining about,
A 20 Mile round trip to the nearest store to get one
I have an iPhone and iPad and you would think the watch would connect to those connectors, But no Apple decided To change the connector so they don’t fit and that the customer has to pay out more money to buy one
Apple treat their customers like id—— and use them like cash cows

Apple watch. Ludicrous!!

Ludicrous!!
Just taken delivery of an Apple watch SE. Included is an inductive charger - but no means of plugging it in (it doesn't have a mains plug, nor does it connect to a USB)! Contacted Apple assistance (admittedly quick); it seems I now need to go out and buy a special adapter. Apple "don't include this, to help save the environment" and "because most people already have one with their imacs". Really? The word cheapskate springs to mind. Ludicrous.

Apple Watch

I’ve used Apple products for the majority of my life. I have owned two apple watches over a five year period. I always clean my watch and never wear it while showering or sleeping. Recently I experienced what seems to be a burn on my wrist in the exact shape of the watch face. After reaching out to Apple answering multiple questions and waiting 10 days Apple is offering NO solution. They advised me to “clean my watch” they said if I’ve been cleaning it then I’m definitely having an “allergic reaction”. I’ve never experienced an allergic reaction in my life and DO NOT have sensitive skin. This is so disappointing. I’d expect better from such a “high quality” company. I’ve read similar reviews and spoke to others who’ve experienced the EXACT same thing and Apple has offered no solution and blamed the consumer. Part of me wonders if the Apple Watch is the Ford Pinto of fitness bands. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
