Appliance People 

When you need professional, reliable and friendly help then call the Appliance People, I don’t say this lightly. Jonathan was a great help and sourced an appliance when I struggled with other suppliers. We were having a kitchen installed and the manufacturer couldn’t supply an item at late notice, I was lucky to find Appliance People who saved the day. I would definitely use them again and recommend them as a preferred supplier.

If I could leave no stars I would. Absolutely disgusting service. I bought my elderly sick mum a fridge freezer. After 2 days the light wouldnt work. I was promised they would fix, replace and help but nothing was done. They now ignore my emails and an old lady is left with a fridge that has no light. Absolutely disgraceful.

Prefect service from the start till finish, I needed a hob, which was out of stock every and Appliance people found me it and it arrived at my door within 2 days, first I’m class. 100% recommendation.

A very competent company. Initially I had a little hesitation as I'd never bought or hesd of the company but there was no need. A follow up call confirming the purchase and advice that a second call would follow in a few days to plan delivery, which happened.
My only concern was about one member of the delivery team who asked some odd personal inappropriate questions. Called Appliance People and mentioned it, so hopefully they have some clarification. Stess, this was a 3rd party not AP staff.

Wish I had read the recent reviews, Do not believe the price on the website as next day they will tell you there was a glitch on the website and the price will have increased and they will not honour the original price. Shocking customer service. Avoid!!!!

We have been so impressed with the customer service and price with Appliance People. We had many questions and Chris was so lovely and helpful, before we visited the showroom, while we were there and following that thoughout the ordering process. He worked with us to ensure that we had all the details of the range cooker that we purchased to give to our kitchen remodeling company. His knowledge and expertise were phenomenal and we would absolutely purchase from Chris and Appliance People for our next appliace.

Sold an item that was advertised only to phone me and say they can’t sell at that price?? The item is still being advertised at the same price! You shouldn’t advertise a price if your not prepared to honour !! Consumer rights

Ordered a Zanussi double oven and it was delivered in good time. However, when unpacking it became obvious that the control panel was misaligned.

I emailed immediately with pictures evidencing the issue, but received no response. I resorted to live chat a couple days later and was told by Wendy that she’d “look into it”. I followed this up with a phone call and she told me that it would have to be repaired by AEG, and if it couldn’t be repaired, they would authorise an ‘uplift’. I explained that my contract was with Appliance People, and after a backwards and forwards we agreed to allow AEG take a look as there was no replacement stock. AEG called the following day and I explained the saga thus far, only for him to explain that I should just reject it and get a refund, rather than have a brand new appliance repaired. He went off to speak to the retailer and I didn’t hear anything back.

Two days later I called Appliance People again to chase this. I explained I was open to a replacement, refund or repair, but wanted this booked in so that I’m able to start cooking asap. Chris got my back up after telling me I couldn’t have a refund, and despite quoting the consumer rights act, he apparently didn’t recognise my right to cancel the contract of sale. I dug my heels in and after this comment insisted they collect and refund me as I no longer wish to play these games, but he told me he cant authorise this and terminated the call.

I am astounded that the staff aren’t aware of basic consumer law, or even their own refund policy! I came here to see if this was an isolated case, but sadly very similar excuses have been made to others.

Excellent customer service, extremely pleasant and helpful phone manner; very informative and knowledgeable about the appliance I was interested in buying. I have no hesitation whatsoever in giving 5 stars.

I recently bought a fridge freezer from this company which was straightforward on the website and delivery was prompt. When unpacking the appliance I noticed a crack in the outer casing which was a little disappointing. I emailed the company with a photo attached showing the damage. The very next day I received a phone call from an employee who couldn’t have been nicer or more apologetic. I must admit I was quite bowled over by her pleasant and efficient manner; something that is quite often a miss these days with companies. At the end of the phone call I was immediately refunded my delivery costs and given an additional 10% reduction off the original price and was reassured that this would in no way affect the guarantee. The money went into my bank straight away. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Not only are their prices very competitive and the range of their products extensive in addition to that they are extremely professional and honest. What more could a customer ask for ! 👏🏻

Chris was extremely helpful and friendly throughout and the delivery guys were also amazing.
We had a real struggle getting the appliance into the house (unexpectedly, we had to remove a side gate) and they went above and beyond to ensure it would work, with good humour as well!
We are delighted with our new fridge freezer, it looks fantastic.

After a negative experience with a high street chain in which I needed to send the unit back after it arrived dented and broken, Appliance People were the complete opposite.

They communicated clearly and promptly at each stage of the purchase & delivery. More importantly the oven works and was cheaper than the high street chain.

Happy to recommend this company.

Brilliant Service
I was let down by another well known appliance provider (damaged delivery on New Years eve) with kitchen refit starting on 3rd January, best they could do was 5 weeks later (that's a long time to not have a cooker!). Appliance people had the same product in stock so ordered online, got a call later the same day saying they wanted to make sure it was all in order (as they had 1 only in stock) - confirmed all was ok. Next day got a call about a delivery and item arrived later that week, can't fault any of the process and had the cooker before the refit was complete. Very happy and will definitely be using again!

Everyone at this company is wonderful. We were blown away by their thoroughness, kindness and exceptional service. From advice to delivery, everything was exceptional. I was blown away. Thank you. Trustworthy good people.

Must be a record! Ordered Washing machine Thursday 4pm.Delivered and fitted, old machine and packaging away by 8.20 a.m Friday. Delivery team cheerful at that time on a freezing morning. Well done AP you matched your claims

Chris was great from the start, rang when he said he would kept me updated, spent the time on the phone with all my questions and did what he said when he said, once I chose the range cooker it was delivered quickly, the delivery drivers went the extra mile so very impressed with the service from everyone, hope the range cooker lives up to the reputation.
