Amazing service, I had ordered over the weekend, they didnt have an item in stock, but they rang and talked me over the alternatives. Really friendly service. Highly recommended.

I ordered a fridge freezer from appliance people and their service was very good. I received a call to confirm my order and was told the delivery people would call me with a day, recieved the call from them a couple of days later and missed the call which they followed with an email giving me the date and option to accept or change, I accepted and the delivery driver called me before he was on his way. The communication was excellent from start to finish and my fridge is fab.

This company made my kitchen fitting so much easier. Their multi deal is amazing, they found me appliances not listed and gave me a price I couldn’t beat! The delivery was on time with a call when nearly there!
Overall price, service and quality was 5⭐️ Thanks for Chris who’s been helping with his suggestions and service! Use these guys not the big chains!

Exceptionally good service received from all concerned, from point of order to delivery. The delivery of our range cooker was exceptional. Not only did Arun (the driver) provide notice of arrival but he also challenged a very rude DHL driver who was making another delivery at the same time. Really first rate.

I called in this morning in a desperate search of a certain Rangemaster cooker, which are like a gold dust to get at the moment, and not only he had my 2nd best colour in stock at the moment, he also arranged a delivery to be nearer my kitchen instalment day which is very helpful. Oh, and the price was good too. They could have put the prices massively up, knowing how difficult is to get a Rangemaster cooker now, but they haven't. Great job.
Would definitely recommend them.

FANTASTIC SERVICE: Two words you very rarely get to use when it comes to customer service based business. HOWEVER certainly not the case here. I can honestly say the service was above and beyond what was expected. I was in desperate need for a specific cooker for my new kitchen and everywhere I went I was told they were finding it hard to get the stock due to covid and brexit including big names like
Curry’s. However when I phoned Aplliance people I was advised they would be getting a delivery on Friday however when I called on Friday it hadn’t arrived so as promised Nigel (director refunded my money) however the Monday after I’m expected and certainly not arranged Nigel calls me
And says Gaz that cooker you were after has just come in and it’s got your name on it if you haven’t got one already. As I had not got one I agreed to pay for it and it arrived on the Thursday as promised. This really saved me being without a cooker for another few weeks. Really grateful and would defo recommend them.

We wanted an undercounter wine fridge, website stated the one we wanted was in stock. I ordered it on Wednesday evening and received a phone call on Thursday morning from a member of staff advising the item was out of stock and unavailable until end of January 2022. I was also advised by the staff member that this item was out of stock across the whole of the UK. After being told this, I said I would wait for the item. After the call ended, my curiosity got the better of me, and after inputting the make of the wine fridge into Google, I found another retailer (in the UK), who was able to deliver the same item on Monday 8th November. I promptly cancelled my order with Appliance People and was advised by e-mail that my order was cancelled and refund issued. I'm now really annoyed that I am still waiting for a refund to be credited back to my card when the item I ordered wasn't even in stock!! Very sneaky Appliance People, not good customer service and I'm sure you shouldn't be advertising something as in stock when it's not!!

Highly recommended. Great prices. Super helpful sales/customer service. Outstanding communication. Stored our products free for several months until we needed delivery. Delivery was bang on time and incredibly friendly and helpful. Why can't other companies be like this?

I have just received an appliance last week from Appliance people and this appliance was fitted and was leaking gas. I had to call an emergency to verify the problem and they have confirmed that the gas leak is from the Gas Hob. I called Appliance people and they said they have to contact AEG to confirm this before I get a replacement.
I complained that I require a swap under my consumer rights for an unsafe appliance in my household and they have said It cannot be swapped until confirmed by an AEG engineer that they have not even contacted because I called AEG and they confirmed this case has not been logged.
AEG has said that under my rights this hob should be replaced or my money refunded but Nigel has said this is not true. That my rights to refund can only be exercised if an AEG engineer confirms the hob is faulty.

I told Nigel I cannot cook without my hob and he said I should use my microwave or oven as the hob does not control those.

I have never experienced such disrespect and lies to a customer.

I will now be following a legal route to sort this out. As response from the company has been unfruitful.

True customer service is shown when you solve a problem not when your goods are delivered on time.

Unfortunately I did not read the previous reviews as this is not an isolated case.

Please always read reviews, there is obviously a place for them in this society.

Update....

On the week of the 11th of October 2021, I got a call from Appliance People that my Hob can now be replaced or a refund actioned. I went through the route of a replacement. My faulty gas Hob has now been picked up and a like for like replacement received.
My gas Hob was actually received in good time and communication was clear, fruitful and useful through out the replacement like I will expect from any business that prides itself for good customer service.

Thanks Appliance people but I still think this should have been sorted a lot quicker and smoother.

Fantastic service from Appliance People! Julie and Chris were so friendly and helpful on the phone, and I felt they really understood my kitchen-related dilemmas. Chris has excellent product knowledge and was kind enough to put a cooker on hold for me while I dithered about what to do - not many places will do that. Nigel helped me out when I'd forgotten a crucial element of my order. What a team!! Looking forward to receiving my new fridge/freezer and range cooker, and will certainly look to these guys in future.

Having used appliancepeople to supply my kitchen appliances. I would highly recommend them. Great service and competitive prices.

Chris was amazing, we called as we looking to secure a a range cooker on short notice. Chris was very thorough and knowledgeable and was able to complete our order with efficiency and accuracy. We would recommend Chris and Appliance People.

After a phone call from the manager, I was able to get the issue resolved to my satisfaction. It was unfortunate that there was a breakdown in communication somewhere along the line.

Awful customer service!

Appliance People were happy to personally call me within an hour of me making a purchase from their website...but when it comes to dealing with any issues that occur, that 'personal touch' goes out of the window and they suddenly become 'ghosts'. I have sent messages from my own email account and through the contact form on their own website. My email has not come back as 'undelivered', so they've clearly received it.

As it stands, they didn't have the appliance I ordered, that's fine...just refund me...simple! But now that I'm trying to cancel the order - all communication has ceased. So now I'm nearly £300 out-of-pocket! This issue could easily be resolved by Appliance People, but as they're clearly ignoring me to spite me, I'll now have to spend ages chasing my money back from the finance company...in a climate where money is already too tight to mention. Very unprofessional behaviour.

No doubt they'll fire back a response, in an attempt to shift the responsibility onto me, instead of just admitting their shortcomings and moving on. So I'll say this ahead of time - 'YOU CLEARLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ME AS A CUSTOMER, SO I DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANY RESPONSE FROM YOU. IT WILL BE IGNORED'.

Sometimes it's better to pay a little bit extra and buy from a trusted retailer. When there's an issue, the bigger companies are more cooperative.

I will NEVER use Appliance People again, or ever recommend them to anyone I know.

My refrigerator had stopped cooling. Eli came that afternoon and knew exactly what to do. He had the refrigerator fixed and cooling within the hour. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Definitely an asset to the company. He cleaned everything when he was done. I was very, very happy with the whole experience.

Great service after being let down by 2 other companies on delivery days they delivered as promised and the price was very competitive, I'd recommend them over more well known companies

I contacted this company for three appliances for my new kitchen and what a lucky find. They have an extensive range of products at very competitive prices. What makes this company stand out for me is, as many others have expressed, the excellent level of customer service they give. On each occasion of contact, whether regarding advice, arranging delivery or requesting technical information, my call has been promptly and professionally handled. As an example, I called them at 5.00 pm, just as the office was closing, to ask for a data sheet for one of my purchases. I was called first thing the next morning to let me know that it had to be requested from their supplier and by 9.00 am it had been emailed over to me. It's so refreshing to discover that there are companies around who value their customers and Appliance People will be my first port of call when looking for electrical appliances. Well done Appliance People, you should be very proud of your company and dedicated staff.

Excellent service. I accidentally ordered an induction hob without checking whether it needed hard wiring and it did. As I wanted a plugin model, I contacted Appliance People and they could not have been more helpful, they arrange to swap it. As both models were the same price, they did the swap without reinvoicing and crediting me, which I thought was very helpful. Based upon this experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending highly recommending them
