Appliance People 

Does anyone have contact details for these people as they've taken a deposit for appliances off us and seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth ??

The company carried out everything they said would happen and after speaking to me they made the delivery one day earlier than first discussed which fitted in with plans, the cooker was as we expected very good and the delivery crew were very helpful and made contact with me 30 mins prior to their arrival I would deal with Appliance People again.

This company is now trading under its 3rd name in a matter of years, company director is a man names mark fawsit and is now trading under the kitchen people!!
As for orders not being delivered they promise the earth and deliver nothing your money is taken and the goods arnt even available
They will use any excuse not to deliver your item best I heard while sitting in the office is that your item is in a container stuck in a container on the Suez Canal 🤦🏽 nothing but absolute 🐂💩 will come out of there mouths

Well I believe I dodged a bullet with this company…after reading the positive reviews up until end February I phoned this company and spoke to a Dominic who took my card details and we ordered a Rangemaster oven which was being built to order in the uk and would be ready in 4-6 weeks. I called after 4 weeks for a progress report and no one answered the phone,emails or the bot/ customer service area, of their website , where coincidentally it stated a Dominic would deal with my request as soon as available! Needless to say, after further investigation it would appear they have vanished….. but it appears although Dominic took my card details and said that the purchase was successful, no funds have left my account!!

Taken my money 2.228.00. Now gone bust

Looks like we have been screwed over too. We ordered a Bertazzoni range on 14 February. The seemingly very helpful sales person advised us that they would hold on to it until we needed it as our kitchen renovation wasn’t due to start. All seemed fine until we now want the range to be delivered. No response to emails, no response to phone calls. From the look of the other reviews/comments, I suspect this company is long gone. Feel sick to the stomach at the hard earned money that has been losr.

We purchased a Rangemaster Cooker in February, paid in full too via BACS as their card processing facilty conveniently "wasn't working" . After speaking with a very convincing Nigel we agreed to do a bank transfer - against everything we ever believed in but after reading such glowing reviews and speaking directly to the Director we thought we'd be ok ... alas not !! We are now out of pocket to the tune of £2679.00.
We have been unsuccesful in making any contact and have since reported them to the bank, The Police and even told their own( surprised) accountants of the mass fraud that's occurring ! Summer Holiday is now cancelled !

Ordered a cooker hood in November, was contacted and told it wouldn't be available until the end of January -- which was fine for us. Comms were initially good, but have now vanished completely -- no contact, no replies to emails, phones ring out, online chat is not being operated.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to order anything. My credit card company has raised a dispute.

I ordered a Samsung oven which they said would be delivered in mid March but to no avail.
It seems the company was a scam set up. No one answering the phones. No response to emails or online chat.
No return calls despite leaving messages. They've closed shop but the website is still active. Luckily, I paid by credit card and card company refunded my money.
BEWARE. STAY WELL AWAY. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY.

Orederd cooker extractor. Money taken 1 month later still not delivered. Not answering messages sent and no one answering phone lines. Have had to open a case with PayPal. Not impressed at all !!!!!

Scam company do not part with your money- their website is still trading and you will not get your goods- we are also owed £2000 for a rangemaster cooker like so many others, absolutely devastating!

I ordered a range oven on 18th February and paid in full. I received a phone call the next day to say that i will be contacted on 18th March to arrange delivery. Today 18th March i tried to phone for an update. Just rang out no other way to contact them! Im now £2500 out of pocket!

We were told our extractor would come in the week of 11th March when we purchased. They communicated with us up when we bought the extractor. We have been trying to get in contact all week to find out when whether it has arrived and when it can be delivered. They are not responding to phone calls or their email or chat service.

Looks like the Company has gone out of business. Spoke to Nigel Clark about the delivery of a range cooker. They took payment and now we are unable to contact them.

this must be a scam - I have had the same experience as others here - does trustpilot actually verify anything - or SHOP - no answer or communication since the first email confirmation AVOID

Following our house renovation, we looked into purchasing a Rangemaster cooker, hesitated and debated due to the price 🙈 (working class people we are). The Appliance People, had the cooker on sale and they appeared to have excellent reviews on Trust Pilot so we went for it, ordered it on 24/02/24 had a call from Dominic Wayne who called us when placing the order, website stated 2-3 days delivery. So very excited to receive the cooker the following week - I was having the cooker of my dreams!!
During w/c 26/02/24 had contact with Nigel Clark who said delivery couldn't be made that week due to a quality control issue with the cooker at Rangemaster (obviously now we know that wasn't the case), so they would arrange delivery direct from them the following week. Not heard from The Appliance People since!! neither have we been able to speak to them by phone, email or chat. We have even emailed Mark Fawsitt the managing director trying to get a response from him, to no avail. Their website is still up and running for anyone to place an order - PLEASE BEWARE!! We have been left thousands of pounds out of pocket; don't be another victim of this fraud. Mark Fawsitt and Nigel Clark appalling behaviour from you both, you should both be ashamed of yourselves treating innocent people like this - you should be jailed!!!!

Ordered a neff oven with Nigel from appliance people for my 75 year old mum who lost her husband 1 year ago. Explained its was a sudden death and we was helping my mum to have anew kitchen so hopefully it would give her reason to carry on he was chatty and sounded genuine. He said yes this would be perfect her. Took payment on the 8th of February and I called 2 weeks ago as to when the oven was coming to be told it had arrived with a broken glass in the door so was sent back to neff and would be contacted once back in stock to arrange delivery of which was told no more than 2 weeks called yesterday 11/03 /2024 and no answer tried again this morning no answer and qhen trying other options the phone cut you straight off. I read they had moved out with no contact so have contacted the bank as theses are fraud people who take peoples money and don't deliver diacuating how people can do this they should never be able to trade again even under another name . The laws need to change for people like this 😡

I have been trying to obtain a delivery date for my order by phone and email for the last two weeks, absolutely no response. I am seriously considering calling the Police to investigate this company.

Ordered the cooker in February 2024. The product has not been delivered on a set date. I have been trying to get in touch with the company over the last week. All of the phone lines are dead. There is no way to communicate with the company!

Just spoken to the business owner based in the same building. The company closed shop and left the premises. Be aware that their website is still functioning!

I ordered and paid for a cooker more than 3 weeks ago and agreed a delivery date. I was told I would be called a week in advance to confirm the precise date. Nobody called. I got in touch and was advised I'd be contacted on the Friday. Nobody called. I called and was advised I'd hear back on the Monday. Nobody called. I spoke to the company via the webchat on the Monday and was advised that they were expecting the cooker from the supplier on that day or the following day. Again I heard nothing back so I contacted the supplier (Bertazzoni) who informed me that, whilst they could see my order, it had never been paid by Appliance People and so the cooker hadn't been released to them! It is now Thursday and I haven't been able to contact the company by phone or webchat ever since.

In the meantime I am several thousands of pounds out of pocket, incredibly stressed, have wasted hours of my life trying to contact the company, and deeply inconvenienced having arranged and now canceled an electrician and someone to collect my old cooker.

I cannot fathom why they would treat a customer this way.

I have now instructed my credit card company to investigate in the hope that I can recover my (very large sum of) money.

**I have just found out by calling another company nearby to Appliance People that they have likely gone bust!**
