Asset Academy 

We have deliberately held off writing a review until we had completed a good portion of our training, so this is a totally honest opinion.

We undertook the Dr Rho weekend training last November. Yes, it is incredibly intensive, and at times it feels like getting fire hosed with information - but looking back we now see why! He lays out a lot of the training we have since undertaken in much greater detail. With some nervousness of what we were getting into, we still took the plunge and are delighted we did.

Let us put one thing to bed straight away...it is NOT repeat NOT a get rich quick scheme. It has however started to provide us with a passive income stream that will continue to grow as we acquire more properties and give us greater financial freedom. Be in no doubts it takes hard work, organisation and above all commitment. We never dreamed when we started this journey, we would be at point only 9 months later where we have acquired properties and the numbers work. The support and training from the AA team has been immense, the networks and advice excellent. Without it we would not be where we are now. The education we received in finding our investment area has been invaluable and given us greater confidence to invest correctly in the property market.

Asset Academy may seem expensive but has been worth every penny. Had we gone out on our own we would have made a lot of costly mistakes - we have learnt information that has paid for the education several times over. Everyone involved in AA is dedicated to helping you on your property journey. They care and they have your back when it is needed. Our mentor is amazing and has been there throughout. If you are prepared to work and give it 100% then you can do it. We are doing it and enjoying the ride.

My coaching with Dave finished about Feb. 2022. When I look back, I see coaching helped me to gain a lot of insight – its via building up knowledge and also Q&A. Dave covered the AA’s coaching material, and shared many stories from his personal journey. He was eager for Q&A, providing detailed answers to the questions in the chat room, and also on the calls – the calls were usually overrun by 10min due to extended Q&A. I think coaching is a good “complementary” course in addition to advanced specialized courses – its more related to accountability, staying committed to property journey, and Q&A helps to lower down the stress at the beginning of journey. Thanks Dave for delivering this quality course – well done!

I joined BTL advanced course with Chris and Arden in Oct 2021 – I continued revising material until April 2022 as we have 6 month access to material, and I should have go back several times to revise several points – the course was really intensive! When I compare my knowledge and insight before and after the course, I see a significant change – this is primarily because the course covers different aspects of this business, including basic knowledge (like how this business works), insight to analyse the market, tools, risks, essential pillars to build-up (like negotiation), etc. In particular, what I would like to highlight as the most helpful parts of the course was running through calculations, details of decision making (how to set strategy, analyse area, etc.), negotiations with different members of power team, and also the mentality we need to build for this journey. The cost of course was not cheap for me, and it was a big decision to enroll for that or not. But now that I look back I see it worth the money and time you put into – the risks and profits in property business are life-changing, hence good training helps to significantly mitigate the risks and create opportunities.
In overall, I am very happy about this course, and I would like to express my thanks to Arden and Chris for delivering this quality course and sharing their experience.

I started this professional property development course at the end of April 2022. Starting with a comprehensive intense 3 day course, prior to this I completed the online study "how to become a professional property developer"
I would highly recommend this company and the course they offer compared to other companies who profess to offer great training.

Asset Academy have over 20 years of offering this type of training and the experienced professionals that work with them are testament to the quality of training executed.

The 3 day beginner course I went on could really be cut down to 2 days . It is informative in parts but also leaves information out and drags on . I felt as if the course is based around getting you to sign up to one of there professional courses ( starting at £12,500) all in all I’d say if your happy to spend half a deposit on a decent buy to let then maybe it’s for you , but tbh most of the information is out there it’s just you have to put in effort to find it .

A useful and informative course on Social Housing. Some greate guest speakers and lots of help to point us in the right direction with moving forward with our property journey.
As always Debbie and Angus were a great team, keeping us focussed and motivated throughout the weekend.

I've done a few advanced sessions and so far it has been time and money well spent. You learn exactly what you need to and are taught by people who have been there, are passionate and are successful.

You know when cartoon characters get bonked on the head and see stars.... that’s how I feel right now after attending the three-day Creative Finance course with Mark and Lindsay (and Jan and Ollie in the background)!

I'd heard it was going to be great and a ton load of knowledge but wasn't quite prepared for how much there was. I almost feel like I have cheated them into giving me their life secrets but then that is the whole point of these training weekends...they are there to share and help.

Lindsay and Mark drew upon their years of experience to use relatable examples of what they and their previous students from over the last 10-15 years have achieved when faced with limited funds and opportunities. The strategies covered were immense in their volume but completely transferable to the real world and to those like us on the course just getting started on our journeys.

The flow of the course was spot on with each section neatly seg-waying into the next to create that trail of information leading from start to finish that could easily be followed.

There was so much information relevant to my situation now but also much that will sit in my brain and on my notepad and will eventually come to fruition later down the road and that is the beauty of these training weekends they give you so much info that you don't just get to one point and get stuck and have to go back they give you all the tools to carry on right to the end I only wish it was every weekend!

Great work team and thank you so much but not sure I am going to sleep for a week now as my brain is buzzing with all the possibilities!

Totally blown my mind, the tutors, Lindsay Hopkins & Mark Dalton were outstanding, with their shared personal experience that these guys shared was incredible. This was the Creative Finance presentation.

Great course, full of fantastic nuggets of information that will definitely be invaluable for my property journey throughout the rest of my life. The pace and content were just right, and although there was masses of information, I never felt like I was going to switch off due to overload.

Mark and Lindsay (with the help of Jan ) filled you with confidence and enthusiasm to follow their advice and teaching - simply superb!

What an amazing 3 days this weekend on the Creative Finance training with coaches Mark Dalton and Lyndsay Hopkins. We covered a wide range of finance options available that I hadn't a clue about previously along with really useful case studies and stories to bring the content to life. I feel more excited than ever knowing these routes are available to help me build my property portfolio and financial freedom. Can't thank them enough and also to Jan and the team for their support in the background. A real learning, motivational, enlightening and fun weekend!
