Did my sons PCR at home

Did my sons PCR at home. Posted at 2pm on the weds and had results by 8.30pm next day. So pleased after reading some negative reviews i was slightly worried. I must also say that staff on live chat were very prompt with their replys. Very very happy with the service and a negative result...bonus :) thankyou

Very happy

Was slightly worried after reading some of the reviews but everything went super smoothly! Did same day PCR test at the appoint clinic in Leeds - very easy, results came earlier than expected :)

ASURRED SCREENING...DO NOT USE this company,we turned up…

DO NOT USE this company,we turned up for our 8.30 am appointment,needing a 24 hour test for our flight for the USA the next day,and it was CLOSED,we waited until 9.00am still no sign of anyone,we were then starting to panic,as were the other 4 people waiting with us,so we eventually booked another test somewhere else,at twice the price,as we didn't know wether they would deal with it,they contacted us at 9.45 am and offered us an appointment at 11.30,but we had already booked,we asked for a refund,plus the difference in cost,because of their failings and they said they would refund the cost of their test,and that's all we were getting,because they offered an alternative test,we were in contact with a helpline at 8.30am,why could they not tell us to just wait before booking anywhere else,and they would sort it,but they didn't offer any solutions,just sorry,it was one the most stressful situations IV ever been in,considering we fly at 6am,and the test is a must for the United States,their abject failure to deal with any of this properly made me write this review

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
My opinion has not changed....if you buy a 24 test from this company,which means it is important to have it done in time,and the clinic is closed,like it was for me,and you panic knowing you only have 24 hrs,so you book another test elsewhere,You WILL NOT get anything other than the refund for the test they FAILED to provide,when they took your money...Oh,and you get a sorry!!

I have looked into the matter and can see that we received no prior contact from yourselves regarding a lack of staff at our testing centre. This issue was an unexpected one that we were not aware of until customers informed us of there being no staff at our centre. Once we were made aware of the issues, we then looked into the matter for further information and clarification on what would happen going forward. Once we had this information we then reached out to all customers who had appointments booked and offered them the option to reschedule or be refunded. In this situation the lead person in your party requested a refund and extra compensation for the situation. They were advised in this correspondence that we could offer a full refund for our service, but could not offer compensation for the additional service you purchased. I am sorry to hear you feel that the situation was a failure in its handling; but I can assure you that based on the background of the situation, our staff did everything they could to handle the matter in a swift and efficient scenario with outcomes that would benefit customers as best as possible.

They dont replace broken items

The item I bought came broken. They wouldnt rake responsability for it. I had to keep it, no refund and no replacement.

We are saddened to hear that you are not happy withour service. I can see that you tried contacting our automated chat bot and then ended each chat. But, you never followed this up by trying to contact our customer service team regarding any potential issues with your testing kit. The reason our company did not take responsibility for a damaged kit that you ordered in October 2021, is because you did not advise us at that time that you had received a damaged item. If you had contacted our customer service team regarding a damaged kit, they would have issued you a replacement kit.

I was apprehensive after reading so…

I was apprehensive after reading so many negative reviews, but have nothing bad to say about my experience. I ordered the tests and within 20 minutes I got a confirmation email about their dispatch and they arrived the next day.

When it came to doing the test, I used the drop box at kings cross at around 3pm. Seems like there is one collection per day at 11:30, so if you’re dropping off your test after this time don’t expect a same day result.

I was updated throughout with emails confirming my test had arrived at the lab, and received a result at 9:30pm next day.

Online chat was very helpful throughout and answered all my questions even as late as 11pm. I would recommend and use this service again :-).

Quick and efficient results back one day earlier

PCR for holiday, had discounts code from airline with others but then their Ad popped up on my Facebook, it’s was cheaper and closer. Booked and paid £49 online at Leeds 25/4 at 10:15, got email at 17:10 saying my sample had arrived at Lab, another at 18:00 saying entered testing and at 20:00 email confirmation with certificate attached and signed. Really happy to have got this same day, I’d paid for next day by 23:59 Tuesday but got results 20:00 Monday. Will use them again.

Avoid!

One star too many. Covid test (by post) was patently POSITIVE: Assured sent me a certificate which stated NEGATIVE. Avoid!

Stressful experience.

They were too slow to process my sample so I had to go to a walk in clinic to get another test done otherwise I wouldn't be able to fly. The results came after I arrived at my destination. Too expensive for such an awful service.

I can see from contact you had with our customer service team that you advised us that you returned your sample to us via Royal Mail. As royal mail do not operate on Sundays, your sample was not delivered to us via Royal Mail until the Monday. Once the sample was received by our lab on Monday your results were returned to you within our aim turnaround time frame. We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with your experience with us but unfortunately we cannot be responsible for Royal Mail delivery delays, and we did ultimately issues results within our estimated time frame.

So far no good

So far no good!

Im already being told i need a retest? I booked 72 hours before as required and this company is on the government website, therefore reading these comments im nit sure their aware how this company is operating... Its your first choice because its cheap but don't choose it if you don't want to be stressed out before your holiday! Im now panicking that i wont be able to fly due to their sample bedding a retest and im told to just wait! Well no i can't wait Carol, the reason i booked 72 he's before is because that's when the results are needed! Their so unreliable and I was told no refund would be made of the rest does not come back in time? Surely that's not right, i can just imagine how many other customers they are doing this too. If anyone knows who or how to report this company then please do at the first instance as their just taking peoples money then saying you need a retest!!!

Terrible service

Terrible service, still wanted to charge me £50 as I couldn't get the tests to them over the bank holiday weekend due to Royal Mail.

If you have purchased our postal PCR tests for outbound travel, we can issue a partial refund for unused tests if they are returned to us, if you find they are no longer useful to you. As per the information on our website - If you have ordered a test kit in the post, you would need to return the test kit to us so that we could register the test as spoiled. We are able to refund you the laboratory process fee but would need to deduct postage and the cost of the spoiled kit (cost of £25). You would therefore receive a partial refund once we have received the returned kit, together with your order reference number.

Please note, we only offer refunds on unused testing kits that are returned to us within 28 days of the kit being purchased.

I am sorry that you are not happy with our returns and refunds policy

Good so long long as you do drop off.

We sent two tests by post, one arrived, one didn't, until we'd gone on a mad scramble and paid and extra £90 for one at the airport. We couldn't risk it. So post, or their receipt can be dodgy.

Can't fault it at all

Can't fault it at all. I posted it Monday morning, it arrived Tuesday afternoon and I had the result around 8pm on the Tuesday evening.

Very happy and satisfied with this…

Very happy and satisfied with this laboratory! The website is easy approachable and very clear instructions given step by step. If I had questions, I used their 24/7 chat where the advisor was very prompt to reply and answer all questions. I used a London Kings Cross Dropbox. Dropped my sample 9:45am. 5:40pm I've got an email saying that the samples reached the laboratory and waiting to be tested. At 6:10pm received another email saying that the sample was being tested and 8:40pm I have got my final certificate. So happy with their service! Would definitely recommend to my friends and use them again if needed!

Making clients pay for the shoddy advice/service

I was told to book online and it wasn't working. I then was advised to travel to Leeds for their PCR same day service. The website was annoyingly difficult to navigate and had glitch with it. When I arrived in Leeds, I was being told by the guy working there and directed to website (that wasn't working. There was no patients but attendant wasnt allowed to help the booking. We had spent over £30 getting there and the option to book wasnt available. Absolute disgrace

The only time customers may experience issues with booking is if they are trying to make a booking for a service we cannot provide for their desired timeframe or if they are trying to book outside of our opening hours. Our staff are not able to help customers with making bookings due to customers have to input personal and sensitive information including payment details, we are sorry that you found this to be inconvenient and that you were not happy with your experience with us

I was sent somebody else’s certificate along with their address the postcode number the date of birth and all of their private and confidential information which is a breach of data protection

Used assured, flying tomorrow, fit to fly certificate sent with no test date on it! Can't get through to anyone other than a robot. Don't use.

Impressed with the fast and efficient…

Impressed with the fast and efficient service received. Dropped off our tests at our local drop-box around midday and had results back by 22:30 the same day. During the day we were informed by email when our tests were received at the lab, when they entered the lab for testing and then our results came back in a document complete with QR code.

Reliable fit to fly tests

Have used AS on two occasions now for fit to fly a total of 5 tests. Easy well managed process at the site and results well within the time scales stated. Would happily recommend.
