Following My review on 16/03/2022, I have now been successful in my Chargeback through my bank. See below my previous review
Do not use as customer service is appalling.
My test result arrived one day too late for my travel arrangements when a refund was not granted despite canceling before it was processed. I have put on record a formal complaint given 14 days to refund under the sale of goods act before I do a chargeback through my bank, What the company does not realise is T&C's are not necessarily binding by law if unfair

As previously advised; I can see that you returned your postal sample to us via royal mail and as per the information on our website once a sample is received by us and scanned in for testing we aim to issue results by 23:59pm the day after being scanned in. In your case I can see that royal mail delivered your sample to us on March 16th and that your results were provided to you that same day inline with our turnaround times. I can see that you have also contacted our customer service who have explained the terms of the situation to you. I am sorry that you feel the terms and conditions are unfair but as our customer service team have explained to you, our services did meet our legal terms and conditions and as such have not been breached. If you have raised a dispute with your bank, it will be investigated and a decision will be made based on circumstances of your situation

Appalling experience

Appalling experience. Totally indifferent customer service.
Their courier (DPD) messed things up with delivering the kit. They totally denied any responsibility, and did not move a finger to try and set things right. They may be alright as long as everything goes well, but if there are any glitches don't expect them to care!

On arrival at Barbados with my negative…

On arrival at Barbados with my negative PCR certificate I had to take another test at the Airport as the certificate did not state whether I had provided a nasal or throat sample.
I contacted Assured Screening upon my return and in brief was advised that it was my responsibility to confirm that the test given was acceptable by the country visited this despite one of the registration questions asks what country is being visited. If not used to check the requirements what is the point of asking the question.

I am sorry you had to take another test before being able to enter Barbados, however I am unsure as to why the authorities said this was due to our certificates not stating whether it was a nasal or throat swab.

Our certificates clearly state that it is a throat/nasal swab test, and you will find this on the certificates you were both sent in the section headed test result notes, which is under your result.

Regarding your contact with customer services, the agent was correct in saying it is the customers responsibility to ensure the test is suitable for their travel needs, however they should have also advised that our certificates do state that they are nasal and throat swabs, so I apologise for that.

Reasonable price and good helpful…

Reasonable price and good helpful staff.
The staff at king cross are so professional and helpful.
I paid for the results back in 2 pm next day, but the result was out by the same day. That was over expected.

Really recommend.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Very helpful member of staff at Darlington centre. Received e-mails confirming that our swabs had arrived at the lab and were being tested. Our results came earlier than expected complete with Laboratory Certificate of Analysis and QR Code needed for travel. Highly recommended.

It was then scanned in for testing by our laboratory on September 24th and results were delivered to you later that same day. I am sorry you were unhappy with the delay in receiving results but unfortunately we were not able to provide them sooner due to a delay in royal mails delivery

***Do not use. This company doesn’t work within their timescales, and uses unreliable couriers for test results. If your test is delayed, they do not take responsibility and quote their small print terms and conditions which they hide by “guaranteeing next day delivery on tests”. The customer services aren’t helpful, they don’t care that you didn’t get your results on time. No one apologised. Don’t offer a service you cannot provide. Scamming people out of their money

**** they asked to contact them further so they can look into our case, knowing full well they refused my dad a refund or even partial refund for a service he didn’t receive. Absolute scam

We use DPD to deliver postal tests to customers, allow customers the option to choose to return postal tests via royal mail and we also use our own personal company courier service if customers take tests in centre or return postal tests via our drop boxes, we are saddened to hear of your feelings towards all three of our courier services.
Our terms and conditions do advise that the royal mail 24 hour service is not a guaranteed next day delivery as we cannot account for delays or issues with royal mail. I am saddened to hear that you are unhappy with your interaction with our customer services team, if you contact us on info@assuredscreening.com we can look into your case further for you.
In your case you have expressed an issue with experiencing delays in our service, but we can assure that unless there are issues out of our control, we do meet our service turnaround times and that our service is not a scam

shock, Horror. copy and paste company copy and paste generic reply without answering any of the questions yet still happy to mislead people and take money off them.
Website still has no warning to people about their tests being invalid for the UAE. just taking the money and running.

PLEASE PLEASE keep away from this company. I booked fit to fly tests for Dubai clearly stating we were travelling to Dubai. Nowhere on their website do they state their certificates aren’t legal in Dubai. I paid extra for same day and staff to carry out test as on their website. We turned up at centre with 24hrs to travel to be told our tests were no good for Dubai and they only do supervised test. Basically told nothing they can do and no refund.absolutely abysmal customer service. They are misleading and mis selling products and still haven’t updated their website stating tests are not suitable for UAE travel. Dawson and Sandersons were fantastic on the day organising replacement tests at such short notice and appalled at service of this company.

Highly recommended!

We used fit to fly pre travel pcr test at Ellesmere Port, 27th February 2022, second time we have used them, went to the unit at 1800, very helpful and polite young lady, test result was back (via email) at 1400 next day, the best way to get these tests done without trouble is to have it done at the unit, not postal test.

We didn't get any update emails as to the progress of the tests so we used Chatbot, was answered immediately, spoke to a Natasha who updated us.
Will definitely use them again

DO NOT USE!! Selling Invalid Certificates for UAE

DO NOT USE. We booked a fit to fly Covid test for the UAE. We clearly stated on their form we were travelling to the UAE which requires a QR code and a test carried out by a health care professional. We were given a DIY test at the centre and a useless piece of paper as it doesn’t have a QR code. Having read the reviews on Trustpilot it is clear this company know their tests are invalid but continue to sell them without any warnings
on their website. We had to pay£195 each , an extra £390 at the airport with another company to get a 3 hour rapid test.
The company fobbed us off with “read the small print”.
Why don’t they put a warning on their glossy website that their certificate doesn’t have a QR and isn’t valid for Dubai, a major international hub and holiday destination?
Having read recent reviews more than suspicious of four star rating.

Absolutely appalling

Absolutely disgusting service. We have used this company twice in the past 2 months for travel to America and both times the certificates came with a QR code. We are travelling to Dubai and didn't hesitate to use the same company, booking 5 next day text.
Only to find out that the tests no longer have a QR code printed on the certificate which is not accepted by emirates so totally useless. You cant speak with anyone and only have an online chat option which the person "Abi" was so unhelpful and basically not interested. Avoid this company at all costs. If i hadn't used them recently but twice in December and January and both times QR codes printed on the certificate.

The QR codes that you would have had on previous certificates were due to us trying to integrate a QR facility into our results system. However the codes on your certificate would not have worked at the time and as a result of this we decided to remove the QR service altogether which was why your current certificate did not contain a code.

This was a terrible experience

This was a terrible experience. We got the test results when we were about to board the flight which was useless. They wouldn’t allow us to complete the check in without the results. We purchased the kit on Sunday and didn’t get the results until Thursday past noon. We had to pay more than 100 pounds to get a PCR test done else where to have it on time for our flight. I will not recommend this lab.

We are saddened to hear you were unhappy with your experience with us. If you purchased your test after 2pm on Sunday, your test would have been dispatched on Monday with our courier aiming to deliver the test to you on Tuesday as per our dispatch and delivery information.

When purchasing a psotal test you can choose to return the sample using one of our drop boxes or royal mail and this would determine how long it would take for your sample to be returned to our lab.

As per the information on our website; once the sample has been returned to us, it will be received by our laboratory and once scanned in we aim to issue results by 23:59pm the day after the sample is scanned in.

If your sample turnaround time did not meet the aim turnaround time mentioned above, please contact us on info@assuredscreening.com so that we can investigate this further.

We are saddened to hear that you consider our company to be a scam. We do offer RT-PCR tests which have an additional step in the testing process compared to other PCR tests. If a customer receives an unclear result, this is because there is likely to be trace amounts of the virus detected in the sample as advised on the results certificate, but they are not to a high enough level to be considered a clear positive result.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Do not use this company. Read the reviews on here and AssuredScreening.com on Trustpilot then search on all forms of social media for countless people who have basically been mugged by these sharks.

If you doubt me, try to call them on 0800 1357095 and you will hear their pathetic automated message claiming that they cannot answer as all hands or on the pumps fighting off customers whose travel plans have been ruined.

If you are travelling to Dubai their test certificate is invalid as they do not issue a QR code which is required to enter UAE. They are clearly aware of this issue yet fail to mention this on their website (despite asking where you are travelling to) and will not reply to any requests for a refund. Countless passengers are getting scammed each day on this issue alone, some losing holidays which have cost thousands of pounds. I will be contacting trading standards and media to stop these scammers and I urge others who have been scammed to do the same. The company is a subsidiary of Honeyman Group Ltd in Barnard Castle. Google them and read their abysmal reviews. They do not answer their phones either.

Oh and one final point, the review by Tracey F is clearly an employee or family friend. So obvious when Assured Screening responded to it within minutes of posting yet they cannot answer their phones. No doubt they will give their standard drivel as a response to my review but I won’t be giving up till I am refunded.

I can assure you that the positive review from a different customer was not left by an employee or someone who knows a member of staff at our company and we are disappointed that you feel our company would do something such as this. I can see that you are currently in correspondence with our customer service team who are liaising with you and looking into your booking situation with us, and if you qualify for a refund, one will be issued to you.

Staff at Darlington were wonderful and…

Staff at Darlington were wonderful and really helpful and explained what we all needed to do.
Results were back sooner than expected, highly recommend and will definitely use their service again.
