Inconsistent sizing! even after buying same style in past
I’ve bought these exact jeans (style, colour) from motel rocks before just in a different length (W28 L32) and have found that they were just slightly too short. So I bought W28 L34 this time. Tell me why the length is perfect but the waist is HUGE?! I’ve had similar problems like this before and have had multiple friends complain about the inconsistency in sizing as well. It’s frustrating and exhausting having to either return the item or get them taken in which costs even more - either way you’re out of pocket because of a huge sizing fault. I don’t understand why there is such an inconsistency - it’s also not just a slight size difference, I’ve had some jeans say it’s a W28 yet I can fit both my arms by my side and still have room to move around!?! for reference I’m 174cm and W28 has always fit even through other brands sizing too. It is such a shame because when they do fit they’re such a staple piece. I’m getting frustrated and disappointed by this sizing error. I understand jean styles may differ in size (eg. straight cut compared to wide baggy leg) but when it’s the exact same style / cut / colour it’s genuinely bizarre to have such big difference in sizing.

I already own a pair of parallel jeans in size 28-32 and they fit perfectly. I bought a new pair of indigo parallel jeans in the same size and they are both much wider at the waist and longer and so they don’t fit well at all. I don’t know why there is so much inconsistency in the sizing
