Please remember you will receive airline booking reference in 3-4 days so if flying urgently, may not be the best option for you.

Aunt Betty emailed me to advise my flight had been rescheduled by 12 hours (meaning I would miss my connecting flight), and requesting me to call them to find an alternative option.

After waiting 1+ hour on the phone, I was put through to an agent who offered one other alternative (flying a whole day earlier), but had to let me know if they could fund a hotel for us considering the layover was 12 hours overnight.

They never contacted me back, I had to call again. Another 1 hour + wait and they had no alternative, so agreed to cancel my flight. They then decided they were unable to refund my baggage and seat selection (even though I physically was not getting on the flight)!

After going back and forth with Aunt Betty, who had taken 2 months to refund my flight ticket itself, my bank advised me to contact the Queensland government office of fair trading. After 3 months of arguing with Aunt Betty, fair trading were able to obtain me a full refund in 48 hours.

If you are sick of Aunt Betty’s awful customer service and ‘policies’, contact OFT and they will sort it out for you.

Easy and quick

I had a very disappointing experience with Aunt Betty Travel and would not use their service again.

When my Air China flight was cancelled, I expected my travel agent to provide support and help resolve the situation. Instead, I found the process frustrating and time-consuming. It was extremely difficult to get clear information or meaningful assistance, and I was largely left to deal with the airline and the insurance company on my own.

Very very bad customer service, they don’t pick phone call and they are not even available on chat section, i have waited for more that hour on both call and chat. Worst experience ever

easy to book easy to review flights details etc, great pricing

we booked our flights through a website, aunty betty came up for best price so we booked the flights, had an ema,il sent with confirmation,all good.then received an email the next day saying can no longer process this flight, due to ticketing error.we were devastated and angry at the same time as hotels and tours were booked.when i asked for an explanation i got the run around, saying we will refund your money but it could take up to 7 business daycare you kidding me.im left in limbo cant book another flight cause you have my money, but oh sorry for the inconvenience .I know what it was the airline responded back to them saying they were selling the tickets to cheap, because the next day when i looked at the same flight it had gone up by 220 per ticket.now if this was to happen in any store where a ticket price on the shelf is different from when you go to pay you get it for the cheaper price, example,a tv advitised for 699 and when you go to pay it comes up at 899,what do you think that customer going to do, and if that item is ticketed at the lower price thats what you pay for and the company losses out.this should have been the same cases be very wary when dealing with these types of companies, as all you will get is I'm so for the inconvenience ,but not much else.and its been 3 days and still have not received my refund.

Easier to use and good user interface. The process was fairly easy. The price was competitive as well.
