Great price, unfortunately they did provide the wrong address and phone number for pick up which is a huge problem for people coming from airport.
Good and bad at the same time! The website and the booking experience are very good. First of all the anticipated payment is NONSENSE... the prices of the cars continue to vary but the price paid for... See more

Voucher 20702328-1, reservation Thrifty K7164738278. Delivery failed due to closing of the station 4 months before. A door board sent me to a second station. Second station failed as was only a drop off. Moved to third station at the airport. Line standing beyond description. Unpoliteness. Agent behaves like a school teacher IcomplainasI have a titanium leg. The agent answers"it's not my fault". A Budget car delivered below the standards and the limits of acceptability. 70 dollars extra taxis. 12 dollars highway fine due to the unplanned delivery at the airport and return to home. Complained 5 times by writing. No answer. two hours and 15 minutes lost. I want a refund. No jokes!

It would not let me edit. It took the wrong time on pick up. Everything else was good.
easy and smooth. Perfect communication with the customer service (on the phone)
easy selection of the best choice, non good the modification of the price during the process
Currently still waiting in the queue after one hour waiting time. Rented a car from auto europe to find out after the booking that the car rental company is Italy car rent in cagliari in Sardinia. Avoid at all cost. Two staff members behind the counter. Its takes around 20 minutes for each customer to go through their booking. Still estimated time for me to wait 45 minutes. That will be a total waiting time of one hour 45 minutes! Not a great start of the holidays. Get some staff in! And @ auto europe, don't partner with such low customer care company!

If you miss your Start Time by 2 hours for anyreason, AutoEurope will take your money and cancel you reservation.
As shocking as it seems, this scam is widely used by this company.

Voucher number: EU20228749-1, car provider: Hertz (Thrifty).
I reserved a car with full damage protection. During rental, the car was damaged by heavy hail (dents across roof and front). Car provider charged 976 EUR upon returning the car.
Then the interesting part: I claimed this cost to AutoEurope, and got no reply, I even don't know if they receive my claim. When called and asked about my claim, the support specialist said that the have no info about that and I should reach the "post-rental" department, and it can be done only by mail. I send a request with status clarification - no answer.
UPD [09.08.23]: I will be happy to update review once the case progressing and set a fair rating.
UPD [31.08.23]: Received the reply that AutoEurope will cover some sum (606.28 EUR), but didn't cover Immobilisation Fee (254.72 EUR) as per T&C of full damage protection. I have no idea how it was calculated as the damage charges was 976 EUR without any detalization (asked for clarification). In a nutshell, I got refund of roughly 60% of the charges. So what's the point? The car provider can arbitrary manipulate the structure of the charges for the damage (neither me nor AutoEurope can manage this), and finally set any arbitrary amount for any particular expense that can happen to be not covered by the protection. So the loud title "Full damage protection" is actually NOT TRUE.
UPD: 29.05.2024. I have another experience with autoeurope and "insurance" they provide. This time I had the same damage coverage package and was renting with sixt, I made a scratch on a wheel, the sixt charges me 720 EUR. My claim was processed super fast and I got FULL refund with less than a week. So changing the rate to 4 star. Keep in mind that depends on what is stated in the final invoice you can either have full or partial refund as some categories of the expenses are not covered.
P.S. Maybe this time my case was fixed faster and smoother because of the negative review I put some time ago? :))

Very bad service. In case you need a cancellation of your booking it's difficult to take your money back.

Horrible experience. We requested a car at the Nantes airport. The car was provided by RENTSCAPE and was NOT at the airport. We waited 40 minutes for a shuttle. Finally there, the car was not ready. After a long wait, the gave us a 5 years old car, with 65000km, dirt, with several damages not registered and oil service expired. We requested to change the car but they refused. Very poor service. AVOID

I rented an electric car with autoeurope for pick up in Bari airport from Hertz car rental. Autoeurope stated I needed approx 2600€ for the security deposit. On arriving to pick up my car Hertz informed me that the security deposit was actually 4000€ and not 2600€. That's not an approximate amount close to what autoeurope stated. I as I only had 3500€ available I was forced to take a much poorer quality of car from Hertz. It can't even make it up a hill on 2nd gear. It also cost me an extra 500€ which has severely dinted our holiday budget. I sent autoeurope two emails with photos of the hertz documents and did not even get an auto generated reply to tell me they would investigate. Shambolic service.
