I ordered for my grandads birthday and…

I ordered for my grandads birthday and loved how easy it was and how quickly the card could be delivered! Lots of design and cake choices too! My grandad was truly touched and shared them with my nan after their dinner❤️ thank you for making their day brighter.

As the recipient of one of these cards…

As the recipient of one of these cards and cakes, I have to say it was not very nice, the cakes were dated for my birthday, (22nd) so had to eaten on the day, both cakes were stale and hard (Bakewell & Cherry Blondie), I don't know how much these cost, but whatever it was, it was too much.

Thank you for your feedback. We are aware of this particular order as you wife emailed us on Tuesday when she received it, unfortunately she had ordered it too far in advance and asked for delivery on Wednesday for your birthday on Saturday and advised she wasn’t aware the cakes had a 5 day shelf life and didn’t see the note. That being said the cakes and tray-bakes remain completely fresh for a minimum of 5 days after dispatch so would only be hard if the packaging was no longer sealed. We did advise your wife at the time that she could freeze the treats and then defrost them at room temperature if she felt that was necessary. We didn’t receive any further communication from your wife but are happy to discuss this further via reply to our email. Best wishes

Not received my order I ordered 22nd…

Not received my order I ordered 22nd Feb and was supposed do get to my mum for her 60th birthday aet she hasn't received anything.
Email was sent on the 13th and heard nothing and they don't pick up there phone either so disappointed and would just like my money back many thanks

Edited to. Say received a full refund thankyou for sorting it out

Unfortunately our opening times are Mon-Fri 09:30-16:00 so any communication received outside of this time would not be responded to until during opening hours - your email was sent on Saturday 13th.

Nearly a month on and no refund as…

Nearly a month on and no refund as promised, I ordered on the 29th of jan for Valentine’s Day, emailed a few times and text aswell, no proof of postage as stated on the web site, all I want is my money back for an item I never received such a shame because it’s an awesome idea, but the service really needs looking into

After receiving my refund today (longer than stated it would be and only just sent today, it was arranged to be sent before hand) I also get in the same said email, to change my review before I’m liable to allegations, nothing I said in my first review was untrue, edited because I have now had it, today 2/3/2021, but my review still stands, I won’t be threatened to take a review down because it’s not to your liking! A review is there for a reason, I will not be dishonest!

Hi Carly, your refund has already been processed via transfer as per our email. Unfortunately you did not choose guaranteed delivery so no tracking information can be provided this was sent 1st class post and upon hearing it wasn't received within 3 days we did offer you a full refund.

Yummy I’ve been told!

Amended this review due to the customer service I have received. Indeed both cards were a little damaged when delivered but this is out of their hands and they are now changing their packaging to prevent this from happening in future.
Both recipients said the cakes and treats were delicious!
This is a lovely concept especially given these circumstances, I wish the company all the best and I will be ordering again for Mother’s Day to give them another chance!

I can see that you did not choose guaranteed delivery but chose free delivery. We don't have any on going issue with squashed cake/damaged items, however our free delivery and guaranteed delivery are both with Royal Mail so the delivery type would have made no difference to a damaged item.

Excellent 10/10

Ordered for my mum and dad this week. Website was easy to use and an excellent choice of cake, shortbread and sweets for every occasion. As I ordered before 2pm it was posted the same day first class. My parents received it the next day. They loved it! The slices of cake were packed well and therefore not damaged upon delivery. I will definitely recommend this company and will be using them again!

No Customer Service..

Today: 8:40 received an email blaming royal mail. Even though they made an error on their behalf with my order as shown below. I had advised once i have recieved a response and options about my order has been resolved i will revise my review.

I am disappointed in the level of service provided by Advacardy.

Made 2 orders with them within the space of a couple of days. 1st order arrived and for the day i had asked for. 2nd order had well enough time to be sent and arrive on the day required but failed to turn up on that day or even the next day or still not received. I ordered on Thursday 28th for delivery on Friday 5th February. Today is now the 9th February.

On Wednesday 3rd February I received a text message from Avacardy to explain they had missed off what treats, what messaged did for inside the card and which day I need it delivered for and they apologised this was an error on their part. I Sent them a responde and within minutes I recieved a reply saying thank you. This was 2 days before my sister in laws birthday so asked if this would now arrive in time for her birthday. I quote their response.

That’s fine, no problem. It will be dispatched first thing so will be delivered Friday.

Ah that lovely to hear thank you.

As you can see Friday the item did not turn up so gave it the benefit of the doubt and waited until Saturday to see if it had arrived and it didn't. My sister in law has not had any problems with her post and has received several other gifts card and letters before and the day after her birthday and noting the post was sent a few days before her birthday according to the stamp date.

I contacted them to let them know it hadn't arrived on the 5th as promised it and with no response like their prompt response a few days ago. A 2nd email was sent on 8th and still not got a response.

I am not sure if my 1st order was a fluke but I am not sure I trust this company to do further orders. Due to their customer service.

The product is not cheap. Its an amazing idea, during this time where you cannot spend your time or even see loved ones.

I didnt want to write a review because I had no fault with the 1st order, but after no response from them I am worried for any future orders.

Out of date cake

Arrived after 2 weeks, both slices of cake 4 days out of date. Poor quality product - card is essentially a sheet of paper. Not worth the £11 I spent. Would advise you to save your money.

Reply to Avacardy: I have sent 2 messages to you. First one advising I still hadn’t received order and second advising of products being out of date. Please check your mail-sent through your contact us box.
I would be happy to upload photographs of the out of date products which were ordered 2 weeks ago (1st December) and I received an email saying card had been dispatched on 6th - this would take date of shelf life to 11th and arriving today makes them 4 days out of date.
Just because you don’t like the review you receive doesn’t make it unauthentic-get back to me as I have requested and I will send you photographs of the cardboard packaging, sheet of paper and out of date products-if there was an option to upload on here I would!

The only method of contacting you has been by searching Avacardy website and using the contact box so obviously I don’t have emails as this is a direct message service. The fact you would prefer to argue with a customer on trust pilot rather than rectify a genuine complaint says it all. Email me at the above email address and I will send you the pictures clearly stating the date on the cakes. Additionally don’t try to make me out to be a liar by stating different dates and trying to tie me up in knots. Had the card and cakes arrived yesterday (which they did not) and still in date, I would have been happy to allow my son to eat them -instead I have essentially thrown £11 in the bin as they are clearly dated 11/12/2020. Not only is your product substandard, you’ve just shown your customer service up to be appalling too. I suggest if you genuinely can’t find the TWO messages I have sent you, you attempt the decent thing and email me on the address provided and then I can send you the photographs. Sad really as I had been raving to my friend with children about the ‘fantastic’ cards I had seen and ordered but I’ll make sure nobody I know wastes their hard earned cash with you now!

If you had taken the time to read my review you would see that I stated the card arrived after 2 weeks- no mention of 2 weeks late. It is also not a nasty review, I have stated the facts. No need to be defensive unless you have something to defend. You clearly don’t care about how you come across or the quality of the service you provide. I’m not going to continue this argument as quite frankly it’s like arguing with a 2 year old. I’ll await a genuine response from you and an offer of reimbursement, although I won’t hold my breath based on the response so far.

Final word on the matter.
You haven’t sent proof of postage in your one email accusing me of writing you a “bad review” and now you’ve blocked me on Facebook because you didn’t like my review on there. No refund received, absolute joke of a ‘company’ DO NOT ORDER from here- reported to food standards agency-couldn’t run the mixer to stir their out of date cake let alone a credible business!

I sent one to my daughter for her 7 birthday and should not believe there was two slices of cake in side. I am over the moon in how well the card looked and cakes tasted great. Cant wait to send some more.xxx
