Ava’s is not a neighborhood Florist.
I picked Ava’s for its “same day” delivery ad. Only to be told, after I paid, and too late to change, that it wasn’t going to happen until the day after. It was supposed to be a Birthday
delivery. Nothing I could do about that. Will go directly to a local florist from now on. Did not realize Ava’s is a broker org. Thought it was an actual florist in the neighborhood. My bad for not researching this better. The flowers were lovely, just not delivered when we wanted them to be delivered.

At AVAS, we prefer to keep it separate so that you know exactly what you are paying for at the final step of the web checkout. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
It is our mission to make all customers' online ordering experiences as seamless as possible. The final cost of a purchase is largely dependent on a lot of factors, including the destination, applicable taxes, and the day and date of delivery. This makes it challenging to provide the total before collecting all the relevant information. To ensure that the customer's expectations are set correctly, we state throughout Steps 1 (Delivery Info) and 2 (Billing Info) that tax and fees will be calculated once the addresses and delivery date are confirmed.
After addresses and delivery dates are filled in on Steps 1 and 2, we can calculate any relevant costs outside the product total. Step 3, the ""Review & Place Order"" section of our online cart, allows customers to enter a coupon code they may wish to include. This section displays the total, including tax and fees. Negative 10 Stars - terrible company
This company accepted my online order for flowers for a very special person to be delivered the following day. Approximately two hours later I was contacted and informed that my flowers would not be delivered the next day but the day after. I explained that the flowers had to be delivered the next day as my special person would no longer be in the city. The company said there computer mistakenly took my order and there was nothing they could do. They said they would process my request for a refund after someone in their company approved it.
Because they waited so long to advise me of their unwillingness to deliver my order on time no local flower company in the city had time to accept my order for the next day. I lost my opportunity in this relationship to send the flowers before this special person departed the city. I can never get that back and it matters.
When you offer flower services you deal with relationships and emotions. If you cannot deliver flowers when you agree to you should stop offering the service. Let local companies proved this service that can keep their word. If I could give this company a -10 stars I would! I recommend no one trust this company, they broke their agreement and didn’t even refund my purchase for several days.
