I’d had two plumbers quote me for a new boiler pump but hadn’t got back to me about booking in by which time the boiler had stopped heating and hot water altogether. Contacted Avenue Heating, Winston called me within half an hour of my enquiry and diagnosed over the phone….we’d left the tap on to fill it up and just needed the tap turning off and the radiator bleeding to get rid of the excess water. Saved us a fortune as nothing needed replacing!

Have booked for a boiler service now and underfloor heating quote. Highly recommended for service alone

From initial quotation to doing the job of replacing my boiler I have been impressed by the companies professionalism. Winston, the guys who did the installation, and the office staff have all been courteous, friendly and efficient. I will certainly use their services again.

I couldn’t be more happy with Avenue heating . I had issues with my boiler for whole month and British Gas was useless and didn’t fix the problem. Winston was very professional and managed to understand the issue within minutes. I’ll definitely contact them again for any future problems.

I can’t recommend Winston highly enough. I’ve just called him at 10pm on a Saturday evening due to issues with our boiler; he’s talked me through possible solutions (and talked me out of an expensive weekend callback). On previous occasions he has gone out of his way to help with intermittent faults, checking in with us unprompted to make sure everything is ok. Thank you!

Just received astonishingly great service from Avenue Heating. Our old boiler needed an expensive part to resurrect it - decided to cut our losses and replace - Winston and his team had a new system installed by 7pm the very next day. Incredibly nice guys, nothing too much trouble and totally straightforward to deal with. So thankful for exactly the kind of responsiveness you wish for when you suddenly find yourself without heating and hot water!

I recently used these guys after a boiler tripping the electricity out. They came round, sorted the problem, were quick, co-opeerative, and clear in their communication. They also offered to do other jobs once this was sorted as we'd paid by the hour and they fixed a tricky tap. I would 100% use them again and think Winston is great at his job/.

Winston came round immediately when my washing machine flooded my kitchen overnight. He isolated the machine so that it could be looked at under warranty. A genuinely helpful company.

We had a gas fire and boiler service. From start to finish, we received an excellent service from Winston and his team. I liked that we were given an approx. time that engineer was going to come and the name of the engineer. Lee did a thorough service of both gas fire and boiler. Also pointed out major fault and supplied photos to myself of faulty boiler as I was not on site at time of service, but received feedback from Tenant. Price was very fair and liked that you were able to pay by BACs.

I got hold of Winston through another recommendation and had a brief conversation where he took all the details and in 5 minutes came back with a quote and explained exactly what would need to be done. I asked for a timeframe and when he said tomorrow the job will be done I thought this is way too good to be true.

What I can say is that this is by far the best service and experience I have received and would highly recommend Winston and Avenue Heating.

I spent ages searching for companies in the St Albans area who could help with my under-floor heating probelm. I called lots of companies who were could not help. I sent emails that were not answered. I called Avenue Heating and spoke to Winston who said this is what we do day in and day out. After a couple of visits, he sorted it out. He came when he said he would and was a delight to deal with. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

We were impressed by the efficiency, professionalism and knowledge of the team. Had our old vented system removed (water tank from the loft, cylinder from airing cupboard, boiler from utility room) and a new unvented system installed (Vaillant boiler, Megaflo cylinder, lots of new piping - water and gas). Many thanks to Avenue Heating for saving the day. With two hours to go before getting in a taxi to the airport for our flight in February our boiler decided to spring a leak.Winston took my call and talked me through the emergency. While we were away he came in and did the repairs and put in replacement parts, all the time keeping us up to date half way across the world with messages and videos.Back home to lock down but a fully working boiler.Would highly recommend.
