Quality product -AIS Glomex aerial, with tailored cable to fit all at a reasonable price - even a length of solder and a bit of heat shrink enclosed!
The additional personal touch from the owner sending an email to say the product was on it's way was nice.

A very positive experience with Alan from Aves Marine. Clearly very knowledgeable about his product and willing to spend as long as it took answering questions etc. so I would thoroughly recommend . Haven´t used the chartplotter yet but have high hopes that it will live up to expectations but aftersales looks really good.

AIS chart plotter works as expected , however a navionics chart makes it better. But this I knew already before the purchase

As a US consumer, I was a little hesitant to buy a product built by company in Hong Kong from a dealer in the UK. I am pleased to report that those concerns were unfounded. My ONWA 12" plotter has been working great for years now, and the support from Aves Marine has been stellar.

I bought a K1299X from Alan. Having had fitted it was struck by lightning before I had a chance to use it. Alan went all out to have the problem fixed.
The box is working perfectly now. The device does exactly what it says " says on the tin".
I highly recommend Onwa and Aves Marine.

Over the last year I have been looking at ONWA chart plotters. I'm in Australia, Aves Marine are in the UK. I have contacted the local dealer who has told me he isn't actually on top of his product. I have spoken with the the manufacturer, in HK, another Chinese company who feels that they don't need to have someone who can discuss their product in English. I have repeatedly gone to Allen who has repeatedly given great helpful advice and who CLEARLY knows the product he sells. If you're in the UK and want an ONWA you're bloody lucky to have him to deal with.
