Definitely recommend & will use again
All staff were friendly. With top insurance the price was still better than the airport pick-up companies. Even with the car collection off site, it was still an easy process. We had an accident & that was easy to deal with too. Definitely recommend & will use again.

I have used Bargain Car Rentals a few times now and highly recommend them. Their pricing is great and they make the process so easy and stress free. Their employees are so helpful and seem to really enjoy their jobs which makes for a great start and end to our holidays. When we picked up our car
When we picked up our car, staff were not helpful at all . One of the young staff members could see my husband was struggling with getting a bag through the door and just ran straight past him and let the door hit him. The woman who served us looked bored, uninterested and not particularly helpful . It wasn’t a good experience

fear-mongering about insurance and road side assistance
Extremely disappointing experience and felt like a constant upselling exercise.
I paid extra when booking because I specifically wanted full insurance coverage. However, when I arrived at the counter to collect the car, I was subjected to a lot of fear-mongering about the insurance I had already purchased through expedia.
I was told that the insurance I had bought may not be sufficient and was strongly advised to purchase the insurance offered by Bargain Car Rentals. This made me concerned that I wouldn't be properly covered, so I ended up paying for two lots of insurance for the same car.
And it didn't stop there. I was also pushed to purchase roadside assistance, and was told that if I didn't take it and something happened, I could be charged a $180 call-out fee for roadside support. Again, this was presented at the counter in a way that made me feel pressured into paying for additional cover.
The whole experience was incredibly frustrating. What should have been a simple car collection turned into a situation where I felt I was being frightened into purchasing additional products that I had not intended to buy.
If the insurance I purchased when booking was genuinely insufficient, that should have been made crystal clear before I arrived at the counter. Likewise, customers should be able to make an informed decision about roadside assistance without feeling pressured by large potential fees.
I paid significantly more than I expected and left feeling like I had been upsold through fear rather than given clear, transparent information.
I would strongly recommend anyone booking with Bargain Car Rentals through expedia to carefully check exactly what is and isn't covered before arriving, and be prepared for additional insurance and roadside assistance to be pushed at the counter.

Third party cover if taken up at time of booking through one of our agents does differ from taking the cover directly with us and is handled with different terms and conditions.
While we are not made aware of any third party insurance/cover taken up at the time of booking our staff are legally obligated with a duty of care to always ask if you want to take up the liability cover options directly with us as well as make sure you know how the different options work for you.
We do rely on any customer that has already purchased third party cover to let us know if the terms and conditions of these work for you.
We do work with our third parties/agents where we can to make sure that information is advised as clearly as possible during the booking process, but I will pass this feedback along to our internal team.

Didn’t get the car I ordered and cruise…
Didn’t get the car I ordered and cruise control wasn’t working or been disabled. Had constant issues with Apple car play in the cherry. Had to organise someone to take me back to the airport as they said the bus back won’t leave for 20 mins but I had to ensure I would make my flight.
Only good thing about the car I got was the fuel efficiency and the ks I got.

Any booking with us is for a category of vehicle, number of seats, size etc, this is why any booking with us is listed as an “or similar” to the example that may have been used on any website you can book through.
All of our vehicles are inspected before each booking, but sometimes things do slip through, we do apologise that it sounds like this may have been the case with your rental.
With any of our bookings if an issue arises at collection or during your rental we do recommend you have a chat with the depot staff or give us a call to be provided with a solution or swap into a fresh vehicle.
While we do aim to have the free shuttle service running constantly during our open hours sometimes due to circumstances out of our control there may be delays that will be addressed as quickly as possible.
Apologies for this as it sounds like you have been left waiting for the shuttle longer than expected.
Force you to take insurance
They keep trying to force you to take out the additional insurance in spite of telling him that i had taken the full insurance with Expedia. I was told that the Expedia insurance did not cover extra like tyre and windscreens which was not true.
The steering in the car tended to pull to the left without warning and when I reported this to the person that i returned the car to he was not concerned
