Memory module failure.
I had tried various combinations, the amber memory error sequence "2 blinks then 7 blinks" appears to be intermittent and is displayed over a period of time when all 4 DIMM modules are populated in slots 1,2,3 and 4. No success in locating the faulty module (s).
Provided Chris with Windows application error logs which indicated a hardware issue !
A DPD swap service was arranged by Chris, replacement DIMMs arrived safely and tested successfully.
Chris from Bargain Hardware provided a first class service, can not thank him enough.
Highly recommend Bargain Hardware as the products and after sales service, help and support is fantastic !

There was a time when Bargain Hardware was one of the cheapest refurbished dealers on eBay. I wish that the company would follow median eBay prices more actively and adjust their prices accordingly, as the hardware they sell is still the same - mostly 10-year-old, obsolete, and expensive hardware. The prices are still the same as they were 5 years ago.

Some of the hardware is even more expensive what it used to be back then. This must be due the GPU miningboom, when Bargain Hardware inflated the prices, but forgot to bring them down.

However, their support and shipping are top-notch. I am keen to make a new purchase when they acquire more updated hardware. Buying a +20kg rack server for 300€+shipping that your mobile phone would beat isn’t something ideal to purchase.

Excellent service. Delivery was exactly as they specified. Everything works as it should.

Ordered a high spec machine and it arrived within a few days and has been working perfectly for 3 months so far.

Despite not opening the package for nearly a month when we did and discovered a small problem, the support team were on it and problem rectified within 24 hrs.

Great company, was happy to give account credit for a system I had to return even after the 14day window for returns which was a huge help and the day after the collection being finished, they shipped the new server out which was a huge bonus. Really happy with the service I was offered and will continue to buy systems from BH when I need them. Would definitely recommend.

This is my 3rd purchase, this time a Dell Latitude laptop.

The monitor appeared faulty and after a brief exchange of emails a replacement was sent out, which has been fine. The rest of the items are top notch. Would recommend this company.

Bought some Desktop PC Ram. DDR3 Did not work. I tried identical ram from another pc all working. Not worth the aggro sending it back. Good way of getting rid of broken ram. Said used but "fully tested" Not buying used ram anymore online.

We had to return a server with a mainboard-problem: RMA papers and transport was organised at once, just about 10 days later we got the repaired server back! Perfect service, very good refurbished material! Outstanding communication and information updates.

I have nothing but the highest praise for Ben and Jonny in the support team at Bargain Hardware. The purchase of my laptop was very easy and although a WiFi connection problem arose, it was dealt with very efficiently by initially returning the device. Very quick turn around and then some remote log on work to sort the driver issue. As a complete IT numpty, it was great that someone was at and to sort out any issues and relieve that IT stress. I would recommend Bargain hardware to anyone contemplating a refurbished device and would have awarded 6+ stars if I could. Thank you so much for you help.

Outstanding and rare customer support. I am so grateful to Ben at Bargain Hardware for his instant resolution of my problem. He emailed me at 8am in the morning having resolved it! I had been up all night worrying as it was a mistake of mine but he sorted it quickly and effortlessly and with great humour.
I cannot rate this company enough. These days it seems to be a huge deal if something goes wrong (it was my fault not theirs) but there were no questions asked, Ben just organised everything.
A very efficient, caring and honest company. A breath of fresh air.
I wish them all the best and will come back for all my IT needs.

Impeccable after-sales service, good communication, a problem with the motherboard => support at their expense in warranty. I recommend without hesitation!!

Excellent company with experienced network engineers who give good advice. All refurbished equipment of high quality, with quick delivery and good packaging. My problem ( Our error not there's ) quickly solved, if possible would give 11/10 for there above average professionalism.
