We just mprpblems with Betrazonnu gas stove and their service deptoved into our 5 year old Condo…

We just moved into our 5 year old Condo in Victoria. The 5 year old Betrazzoni stove needed repair.
We're told parts are hard to get, if you can even get them. The service tech stated and confirmed, lot of problems especially with non-existent service from Betrazzoni company. Dealing with company direct is absolutely awful. Burner not working and it leaks gas!. Cpany is no help at all. They gave us name of service company,
However, they could not get parts
Charged $160.00 to look at it. 15mins!

range master series 36 inch 5 burner…

range master series 36 inch 5 burner unit, needs burner strike wire to ignite the gas burners on 2 burners, needs seal gasket on oven to seal door, pretty crappy for a 3500.00 unit should be trouble free for many many years ! warranty is weak and customer service is extremely poor !
To address yr response purchasd thru builder 2016 model mas365xelp replace strike wires 2021 took a few hours I diy! Bertazzoni service for 29579 wanted $250.00 plus parts I bought on line !
Now I need an oven gasket to seal door when closed not in stock cant find etc.
rather than wasting yr time looking for my responses focus on making a better product etc and refined support to assist customers who spend a lot of money.

Product looks amazing, though we need our gas hob converted to bottled gas connection and still awaiting a reply from your customer service team please help!!!!
I’ve since been in contact with customer service UK department, Rebecca is very helpful and friendly, she has the part we need ordered from Italy and will post to me asap!

Hob incapable of a steady heat

The hob is not really useable if you are a cook. It is impossible to obtain a steady heat on the burners. Instead you get a pulsating heat. For example, a sauce that requires a slight simmer will spoil because it will simmer for two or three seconds, then boil for two or three seconds, then revert to simmer, etc. I have two other induction hobs, a Neff and a Miele, and neither of those two exhibit this behaviour. I get a steady, reliable heat from both of them. I think this is lazy design by Bertazzoni. Worse, the customer is not told of this limitation, which, in my view, means the product is being sold under false pretences.

SIM function not working

We started using the Hob on April 01, 2025 only after moving into our newly renovated home where this Gas Hob was installed in December 2024. However we notice the gas burner shuts off when the knob is turned to the lowest (SIM) position. This is happening in all burners.

Microwave and fridge/freezer absolute garbage

Microwave overnight went out after 2 years $3600 in the garbage. Quote to repair was $1600.

Fridge door handle came off 2x under warranty once out of warranting came off again. Had to replace the whole door $2600 on a 16 months old fridge. Well now it’s been almost 4 years and the freezer door handle has now come off and can’t be repaired. I have all the documents of every call and the 8 months it took for them to replace the door the first time with constant blame on other vendors being the issue.

Horrible products and customer service

I purchased a Bertazzoni gas hob, and from the very beginning, we've faced numerous issues. The gas rings rusted quickly, and the company replaced only one of them. Then, the small rubber pieces on the gas hob rings started coming off, and we noticed they were burnt and unable to withstand heat. As a result, the gas hob rings no longer sit properly on the platform plate. Another critical issue arose when the gas started turning off unexpectedly when setting the flame to a low setting. This is a severe safety hazard, as it leads to gas leakage. You might think you've simply reduced the flame, but after a while, you'll notice a gas smell in the kitchen—only then do you realize there's a dangerous leak.

On top of these countless problems, the customer service has been absolutely terrible and unhelpful in resolving these issues. I strongly advise against purchasing from Bertazzoni. This has been a deeply disappointing experience.

What a disaster this company is.

What a disaster this company is.
The high end condo I purchased came with a Bertazzoni range.
Wasn't long before one of the burners no longer worked.
They are a specialty appliance and European company, hence repair people are pricey and virtually non-existent.
I Then went to their website looking for support and lo and behold there is no Tele number for support....ANYWHERE. You have to fill out this questionnaire for them to get back to you. How convenient for them.
Then you try to put in the model number and serial number which is clearly posted on the unit,
However I keep getting an error message that they are incorrect.
I own another condo with a great range and never had a problem with it. Never had to pay exorbitant fees to try to get it fixed.
I won't even mention the name, lest I be accused of promoting another company.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.
Maybe they should consider making it easier to contact them for help rather than creating a fiasco to get anywhere.
Buy this product and watch the company go to sleep on you when something goes wrong which from my vast searches seems to happen to numerous people that purchase this product.
Figured I would get on here to warn everyone before you go through what numerous people seem to have gone through. Just Check for yourself. STAY AWAY unless you enjoy being aggravated. Good Luck.

GARBAGE APPLIANCES - FAKE OFFER TO HELP

If I can give zero I would. If you want a garbage brand that isn’t reliable and everything quickly breaks within 2 years then buy their stuff. My new built home came with all Bertazzoni appliances with the fridge first to have problems when not even 1 year in, the left door clip failed which caused it to be unbalanced while opening. Next, the latch on the microwave also broke and the whole thing would not turn on. And now finally, the dishwasher is constantly having an E1 error and no longer covered under their pathetic two year warranty. This is literally the worst brand you can buy. Stay away.

Replying to your response. I sent you my contact and product number last Thursday and have yet to hear back. Like I said, my new built home came with your appliances and I moved in May 2022. The builder is Warmington and the development is Avant, I'm sure you guys can find the bulk purchase from your records.

I HAVE REACHED OUT TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP AND PAID THE DEPOSIT OF $150 JUST FOR THEM TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM.

Purchased the Bertazzoni PRO 36" Dual…

Purchased the Bertazzoni PRO 36" Dual Fuel oven and range with our new home we built in October. Both the range and oven went out while cooking our Thanksgiving meal. The oven was fixed in a 2 week timeframe. It is roughly 4 months later and the range is still not working. One of the parts needed is still on backorder. I found the exact part online from a Bertazzoni dealer that I can get in a few days, and they say it will void the warranty if I don't get it directly from them. I would never buy from this company!!

Great product oozing quality

Great product oozing quality, quickly & efficiently installed.
I've ordered an additional set of telescopic runners for the large oven and an extra shelf for the small oven to make it more practical (both of these were standard on our Britannia and we had got used to having them)

Don’t buy Betazzoni and don’t buy any appliances from Dunnetts in Maine!

The stove unit did not work when delivered. I am 10 months now with one burner that has never worked and has been replaced once already, the Thermostat gauge has been replaced and still doesn’t work and now my griddle has stopped working. They have also replaced one of the fan units. My
Local servicer vendor wants nothing to do with it and Bertazzoni customer service has denied a replacement and has left me hanging with no repairs. I spent over $10,000 on this dual fuel 6 burner range that has never worked and is still under warranty. I would never buy from them again and I am thinking of suing now as I have no option.

Follow up. Review

It was very frustrating to have my new stove fry the week before Christmas. I was so upset I wrote a negative review. My appliance provider gave me a loaner (unheard of) and since I expressed my frustration Bertazzoni has been on top of the issue which I appreciate. I’m hoping it was an anomaly and I will have years of happy baking with this beautiful appliance.
