I would highly recommend a pair of sunnies from Bigatmo - particularly for flying as the frame is an incredible design which fits very well with a headset.

Also the customer service from Bigatmo is outstanding.

I’ve had the pleasure of wearing the same pair of Bigatmo sunglasses for the last 9 years. Unfortunately I left my pair on the aircraft and they were still in such good condition they weren’t sent to lost property…
So I had to replace them. I didn’t give it more than a seconds thought- replace with another set of Bigatmos!
Great quality lenses that filter out all the damaging high energy blue light we are exposed to at altitude, that adapt with the light conditions.

I have now bought two pairs of sunglasses from Bigatmo & wear them at work in the flight deck for hours at a time. They are the lightest most comfortable sunglasses I have owned, with great colour transmission & shading. The first pair I bought were a little tight for my head, but they were exchanged without quibble or fuss. Excellent all round!

I've had my Bigatmo sunglasses for over 6 years now and they are still perfect for the job. As a commercial airline pilot, I used the Alutra Photochromic lens and they work perfectly. Brilliant contrast when looking outside and immediately I can switch view to inside the cockpit to get a perfect view without any glare. Comfortable. Still in fantastic condition which shows the quality. Their customer service has been excellent throughout and they take care and thought with each part of design. I wont be buying any other brand for my profession.

Thanks so much to Lou and the team at Bigatmo. As a glider pilot the time has arrived when I need multivariable lenses to see a nav computer up close, the instrument panel at arm's length and infinity beyond. Bigatmo have given me the perfect combination of focal lengths and clarity. Combined with the Alutra photochromatic lens these sunglasses are an essential part of my flight kit.

I’ve been a professional pilot for nearly 40 years (military and airline), and these are the best sunglasses I’ve ever worn. Comfortable, perfect clarity and virtually no glare. I use them every day, and not just for flying!😎
Furthermore, should you need any after sales service (and I doubt you will), they are wonderfully helpful at Bigatmo! Buy some!

What an amazing service! I had a slight fault with my sun glasses, called Bigatmo to see who I could get to repair them and without any questions Lou said to return them to her and she would sort it out! I posted them on Friday and had them back as good as new on Wednesday (6 days)! I just wish everyone had that service mentality, so refreshing. Thank you so much, I have already told this story to 5 people and one is looking to buy a new pair of sun glasses from you.

Bigatmo was recommended to me by a pilot I flew with. These sunglasses are perfect for the flight deck. Normal things but specially screens, whether it is those in the cockpit or even your phone look simply amazing, with wonderful color neatness, honestly better than with the bare eye. They do not darken your perception but simply make the sunlight manageable in brightness and are just great for flying as well as daily life.

The customer service of Bigatmo is fantastic, with incredibly prompt replies and very friendly and customer focused service. I am already a returning customer and would recommend to anyone!

Began using Bigatmo's years ago when they were a fledgling company. They produced a splendid pair of prescription sunglasses for me, ideal for flying. As time passed, my eyesight deteriorated and so another pair was purchased - again, a flawless product that proved ideal for use in the cockpit. Fast forward a few more years and synthetic lenses in both eyes means prescription specs are no longer needed, so time to contact Bigatmo for standard lenses to be fitted to still good-as-new frames.
An astonishingly fast turn-around meant that my now standard lens Bigatmos were ready for instant use, and once again functioned perfectly.
The quality of this product is exceeded only by the dedication to service of the company itself.

Have just purchased my second pair of prescription sunglasses from Bigatmo.com, having bought my first pair in 2017. Extremely comfortable with the lenses providing superb cloud definition when I’m gliding.

Chose Bigatmo based on recommendations from other glider pilots. Very good looking, light weight with pin sharp lenses. Very impressed by the care and attention to detail resulting in bespoke gliding sunglasses with seamless reading correction.

Ordered a pair of Bigatmo sunglasses on my son’s recommendation ( he is a captain for a well known airline) and wears them under a comms headset flying. I just needed polarised perscription lenses for fly fishing. The titanium frames are the most comfortable I have ever worn. 5 stars for quality and service.
