The shipping time was great
The shipping time was great. The bikes showed up two days before expected, but the fork on one was damaged. Whether from poor packing (my honest expectation) or rough handling, some combination of the two left a front fork leaking large amounts of oil and necessitating replacement. I'll probably use Bike flights til I die, but be more cautious and either pack the bikes myself or be way more explicit in directing the shop as to best practices with this particular bike.
Edit: the entire fork needs to be replaced. I may not use bike flights til I die.

We haven't seen a damage claim submitted for this shipment yet. If you haven't already done so, please visit our website and file a claim as soon as possible. Be sure to include photos of the bike, the packaging, and the damaged fork, along with any inspection or repair estimate from your bike shop. Our Claims Team will review everything and work with you through the process.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding packing. Proper packing plays an important role in protecting bikes during transit, and your comments are a good reminder that taking extra care with suspension components can make a difference.

The entire process has been positive
The entire process has been positive. The measurements of the bike vs the box size and the videos were very very helpful. The first time assembling the box and putting a brand new Epic 8 in it took me about 30 minutes. That included bubble wrapping the crap out of the new frame. I used it on a Southwest flight. It was free to fly with me because I was an A list member. I can reuse the box at least one more time. The box is in great shape and I look forward to using it again. Also I look forward to using your service again as well.
