My trip had to be cancelled because of the war with Iran and all the flight cancellations. I contacted Billabook about my hotel reservation and they answered very quickly. They managed to speak with the hotel and get a full refund approved for me. Really appreciate the help during this crazy situation!

Terrible service from this company

Terrible service from this company. I made a reservation for a hotel in Denver in January 2026. My plans changed, and I had to cancel within the allowed time. They sent me an email confirming the successful cancellation, and the refund was supposed to be ready within 10 business days. To this day, they haven't refunded anything. They say I have to check with the bank, but they haven't sent me any proof of refund. Don't trust this company; it's a scam! 🚨🚨🚨🚨

Absolutely unacceptable – still waiting for my refund

I rarely write negative reviews, but our experience with Billabook has been extremely disappointing.

We booked a trip through Billabook and were later informed that we would be relocated. We agreed to the relocation and were told we would receive confirmation once availability had been checked. That confirmation was never sent.

We followed up multiple times via email and phone. No response. No clarification. No solution. Our calls went unanswered and our messages were ignored. Without a confirmed booking and without any communication from Billabook, we were unable to take part in the trip.

At this stage, this is no longer a simple misunderstanding — it is a clear failure of service and responsibility. Billabook has retained our payment while failing to provide the agreed accommodation or any meaningful customer support.

We are still waiting for our refund.

If this matter is not resolved immediately, we will escalate the issue through our payment provider and pursue all available consumer protection channels. All communication attempts have been documented.

We strongly advise others to carefully consider whether they are comfortable booking with a company that does not respond when issues arise.

Billabook, this is your opportunity to resolve this professionally. We expect a prompt refund and a written response.

Avoid Billabook – Took My Money and Never Booked the Hotel

We booked a two night stay on valentines day in Leukerbad with Billabook. I received confirmation from Billabook, and the payment was processed. However, one day before check-in we were informed that the hotel was overbooked and offered a relocation to a much less desirable hotel.

Despite this being a time-sensitive arrangement, I received no further confirmation, or any kind of information for that matter, leading up to my check-in date. The emergency hotline connects to Smyrooms, who weren‘t able to help due to being a third party. Smyrooms however confirmed that they haven‘t received a response from Billabook regarding the booking either and no hotel booking has been made.

This left me in an extremely stressful position, scrambling to sort out accommodation at the last minute. Relocation is already challenging enough without having to deal with uncertainty about where you’re staying.

To make matters worse, there has been no proper resolution or accountability following the issue. Billabook responded one day after the intended check-in date asking if we wanted to cancel the booking? The lack of communication and follow-through is deeply concerning. I have not received a refund or confirmation of refund to this date despite having requested one multiple times.

Please do not book with Billabook. It is not worth the trouble.

This company is very untrustworthy do…

This company is very untrustworthy do not spend money with them. They will show you a date you can cancel for free but once you pay and make your booking they then send a confirmation and change the cancellation fee so you have to pay. They do not respond to emails and they have the worst customer service I have ever had. Save your time and money and look elsewhere

Extremely Poor Support – No Response, No Transparency

I strongly advise caution when booking through Billabook.
I had to cancel a reservation due to a documented medical emergency (medical report provided). The hotel, Lapita, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Autograph Collection, confirmed in writing that they have no objection to processing the refund once the request is submitted properly through the supplier channel.
Despite this:
It is practically impossible to speak to a Billabook.
There is no clear customer service line.
Emails go unanswered.
No confirmation has been provided that the refund request was even submitted to the hotel.

The booking structure is multilayered agencies, which makes resolution extremely complicated. As a customer, you are left chasing multiple parties while Billabook are unreachable and provides no clear answers.
The hotel has confirmed they will comply once the request is received. The delay appears to sit entirely at Billabook’s level.
A company handling customers’ money should provide transparency, responsiveness, and clear communication. In my case, none of this has been provided.

I strongly recommend to avoid booking through this platform.

Scam company

Scam company. I booked with them and they never sent the booking to the hotel. I paid out of pocket for 2 out of the 3 nights. After deciding to leave because I didn't want to pay for a third night, they then decide to contact the hotel and tell them about my booking. We had already left at this point and I never received credit for my third night stay that I paid for. I would not trust this company and would never book with them again.

I am currently stuck at a hotel and no reservation

I am currently stuck at a hotel I have a booking for through billabook and they can't find my reservation. I've gotten no help from billabook. AVOID, it's a scam.

EDIT:
Despite what they have written below, I NEVER received a refund for this. I actually had to go to my bank to dispute the charge. I had to then go book another accommodations last minute as they absolutely refused help. I was stuck at my hotel at 2 in the morning with two small children with no assistance and then it turns out it was never booked by billabook and they did not refund me. Truly avoid at all costs. This is a scam company.

EDIT 2:
Never made a booking for me, never gave me a refund.

Shame on me - DO NOT BOOK HERE

Shame on me for getting excited about a deal here and not reading the reviews first. I booked and paid in full through Billabook. They provided me with a hotel reservation confirmation number, which gave me comfort at first. However, when I called the hotel ahead of time to make a simple request, they could not find my name in their system.

I contacted Billabook (which is nearly impossible in real time since there is no phone number and no live chat — email only). They responded saying they had the confirmation and everything was fine.

I called the hotel again. This time they located the confirmation number — but it was under a completely different name. Not mine.

I emailed Billabook back three separate times with no response.

When I arrived at the hotel, it was the same situation. No reservation under my name. The confirmation number I was given was not tied to me. Standing at a front desk with luggage after paying in full, and having no way to speak to a live human being, is not something any traveler should have to experience.

The biggest issue here is not just the mistake — it’s the lack of real-time support. Email-only communication when you are actively checking in is simply not acceptable.

I will not be using this service again. Travelers need reliability and accessible support, especially when something goes wrong.

Won’t Use Billabook Again

Terrible experience and I wouldn’t trust them again. I arrived at the resort and the room that I had purchased through Billabook was not found. None of the confirmation numbers worked and the front desk had never heard of Billabook. They tried to make it seem legitimate with responsive customer service before the trip, but I flew across the country to find out that I had no reservation through them.

They’ve since emailed me saying my payment was verified with 3D Secure and cannot be disputed. No apology for not having a room ready or questioning as to why I disputed the charge, which would be any company’s first step if they truly booked a room for me. If you’re thinking of using them, I would proceed with caution.

Scam

Scam - they falsely advertise lower prices to get you to book, but you will arrive and there will be no booking in your name. Support number leads to a dead-end agency that says you need to contact Billabook… even though this is the “support” number listed on their website. Company is unresponsive to emails. Stay away.

I booked 2 nights in Vienna and 2…

I booked 2 nights in Vienna and 2 nights in Salzburg for my first trip to Austria through Billabook, but it has been a nightmare.
After making the payment, I never received a confirmation email. I tried contacting them via their website and email multiple times, but they completely ignored me. When I contacted the hotels directly, they told me there was NO reservation under my name.
It is infuriating to see them still active on Google while they scam innocent travelers. My entire travel plan has been ruined and I feel cheated. Please, save your money and DO NOT book anything through Billabook. This is a total scam.

Scam Company

Saw their booking option through Google, paid and received a charge on my bank. Thought it was suspicious when i went to find my confirmation number nothing loaded on their website. I call the hotel directly and give them my info and they tell me nothing is under my name. I reach out to them through email asking for a cancellation. I am still within my time frame of getting a full refund when asking, magically after they reply to me the cancel/manage button finally works, but it never worked for the past 3 days. They try to get 15 dollars out of me instead of getting a full refund.
