I am writing this to warn other travellers: Do not use Billabook.
My experience with them has been a complete nightmare, and I strongly advise you to book elsewhere, even if the price is higher.
Why you should stay away:
False Bookings: They provide what looks like a confirmation on their end, but the booking does not actually exist in the hotel's system.
No Communication: They fail to send confirmation details or payment to the hotels. When I arrived/checked, the hotel had no record of my reservation despite Billabook taking my money.
Potential Scam: This isn't just a technical glitch; it feels like a systematic failure or a scam. You risk being left stranded without a room.
Final Verdict:
Save yourself the stress, the potential loss of money, and the risk of being homeless in a foreign city. It is much better to pay a little more on a reputable site than to deal with the "false bookings" provided by this company.
Avoid at all costs.

I would give zero stars- total rip off
They will steal your money for doing nothing. Had a booking 2 weeks out- Hilton cancelled & refunded - billabook not even giving me a partial refund. This is weeks in advance - nothing happened but some button pushing & they are keeping all my money. There's no customer service & no phone. The email link on website is invalid. I hate that I ever clicked on their theiving website.
The terms are- once you give them your money for a booking, it's non-refundable from that moment on. They won't give a phone number & the contact links on website don't work.

Booked via Google redirecting me to Billabook. Prices were listed in CAD on both google and at checkout. Was sent a receipt with no currency listed and only realized after the fact I had been charged in USD (the exact same dollar figure - NOT a conversion). Have opened a dispute with my bank. Did not receive a reply to my initial email, follow-up email only received one reply which didn't at all solve the issue then didn't reply to two follow-up emails.
Very sketchy company - will never use again, am out >$1000. The competitive price was clearly a false advertisement as it ended up being more expensive than other companies as they had fraudulently listed the price in CAD.
Billabook is acting criminally. I have been waiting for weeks for a refund that a hotel made to me via Billabook. Billabook is not paying this money. They are also not responding to my emails.
I only received one message asking me to delete a negative review. But it is justified. Be careful with Billabook! No response! No refund! Never again!

28/1/2026: a few emails of communication with Billabook. still NO hotel booking number received.
4/2/2026: NOT receiving any updates
10/2/2026: they reassure the hotel booking number will be released 48 hours prior to checkin date.
AND
14/2/2026 22:15: STILL NO BOOKING NUMBER GIVEN (date of checkin: 16/2)!!!!!!
15/2/2025: finally received the booking number and confirmed by the hotel.

⚠️ Avoid at all costs – No reservation, no support, no refund
I booked a hotel through Billabook and received a booking confirmation. When I arrived at the hotel, I was shocked to be told that there was NO reservation under my name and that the hotel has no cooperation or record with Billabook at all.
I contacted Billabook multiple times by email and received absolutely NO response. There is no phone number to call, no real customer support, and no accountability. I was left without accommodation upon arrival and had to find an alternative on my own.
This is a complete failure to provide the service I paid for. The lack of communication and responsibility is unacceptable. I am now forced to file a chargeback through my bank.
Extremely stressful experience. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company

This is not a clarification of facts …You are lying ….I asked for a refund which according to the terms and conditions of the reservation I am eligible for and I was waiting for you to approve the refund for more than 16 days ….Once I saw that you didn’t even reply in my consecutive emails for more than 2 weeks where I was asking my legitimate refund I filled with my card issuer a dispute so as to ensure my money from scam and thieves like your website …..As I see here you reply directly and immediately without any delay to the bad reviews but when it comes to refund money and to give explanations of why the refund process is taking so long you forget to reply to the emails and you forget to refund 827 dollars …You should be ashamed for your scam policy …I am trying to protect everyone else from you

I had a wonderful experience with BillaBook. I contacted their team regarding a price match for my upcoming stay at the Fairmont El San Juan Hotel in January 2026. Since this trip was a special Christmas gift for my family, I was very hopeful for a positive outcome.

Scam of a website.
I cancelled a booking that was clearly refundable and within the window of free cancelation and now they refuse to refund and are ignoring emails.
Seems widespread and my contact the bank said they'll probably get de listed from credit card processing for having so many proven disputes.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. Billabook charged me €3,000, sent no email confirmation, and when I called the hotel they said no booking existed under my name. This was for a family trip to Rome. Completely ruined.
I already know how this ends: Billabook will reply with “We believe this review is not based on a genuine experience with Billabook. For any unresolved concerns, we encourage contacting our support team directly so we can address them promptly.”
Because it’s an automatic response, and they clearly don’t care about customers — only money.

I booked a hotel in Dubai through Billabook from 14 September 2025 to 18 September 2025. When I arrived, I was informed that the hotel was overbooked, so I had no choice but to find and pay for another hotel.
The hotel manager advised me to request a refund through Billabook. I contacted Billabook customer service multiple times via email, but despite sending many follow-ups, I never received my refund. After a while, they stopped responding completely.
The way this situation was handled was very unprofessional and disappointing. I paid for a service that was not provided, and I was left without support or resolution. This experience caused me a lot of stress and frustration.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be cautious when using Billabook’s services.

Updated : i booked a hotel @ ile maurice for 1/3 of the price on booking. I was a bit hesitant because it seemed to good to be true...
The payment went through, but I did not receive an confirmation, not via the website and neither via email. An hour of so after though, I received an confirmation from billabook. The next day I called the hotel and they confirmed our booking !
This is a scam. They will take your money and send you a fake confirmation. There will be no phone number, only an email customer service. When you show up and there is no actual booking and try to reach out, they will keep asking YOU for documents and proof that there was no actual booking. All via email so they can keep running the scam without accountability and show the credit card company that they are attempting to resolve.

It was a very bad experience. I tried to use this website to make a reservation. The credit card was deducted, but I didn't receive any messages and emails. The contact website staff did not reply.

I booked a hotel with Billabook which had many quality issues (one of them being close to major airport with no soundproofing)
I couldn’t sleep at all the first night and decided to leave. Billabook wouldn’t assist with recovering unused nights and I ended up loosing 600+$. Recommend to use Booking.com instead, from my past experience they handle better this issues.
