I came to BillHero via Choice magazine. Over the past couple of years, my lifetime savings tally is up to $2,156.08! I’ve set it up so that my “bother” threshold is $50, so any savings they find for me over that, they let me know. They offer a fantastic service that handles all the switching for you for a $25 fee.

I have been with Bill Hero for a while and have not complains whatsoever
The only regret is that I didn't start with them earlier
I have gas and electricity, I pay $75 a year, money well spent as I have saved almost $3000 since I started using their service
I don't change my energy supplier every month, I have set my threshold at a certain amount and once a new offer is higher, I swap

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME
Sent all my info to bill hero and was sent two providers supposedly offering better deals
Cannot scroll the providers site for offers to see how they compare with my provider, you have to call the providers
Called one of the recommended providers was give a hard sell and they asked me to change my tariff code. Asked why I had to change my tariff and why the provider cannot change the tariff code and was told had to be done by my current provider
Called my current provider and was told this is unusual and would be knocked back by the wholesaler
Negotiated a better deal with my current provider
You cannot contact billhero for a refund or have your data deleted (no phone number that works, emails go unanswered or through to the AI bot with no answer)
Waste of time and space

I have tried this email numerous times as I stated earlier and have still not had a reply
I was not the person asking to change my tariff code it was the provider who asked me to change the code
No reply from billhero reference deleting my data or a refund
I stand by my review and it is warranted

I have paid my money for a subscription, sent three invoices over time and each time I have to chase them for a result, with the last one I still do not have a result, despite them saying they will call me. I have sent emails to them and still no reply. I have asked for my money back and still no reply. Do not waste your money or time with this organization.

billhero has saved us over $4100 plus annually and is still coming up with savings.

Getting the best energy prices!Using Bill Hero makes managing my energy cost easy. I was recently caught out by my energy retailer switching to the "Default Offer", which meant I would have been worse off by $150 per year on my gas bill alone. I was alerted by Bill Hero and was able to switch to a better plan with just one email. Likewise, I definitely recommend Bill Hero!

For several months now I'm getting emails that bill hero is saving me money which is a lie.

Yet again Bill Hero has saved me money on my power bill. The process of changing energy providers was painless, and my decision to use a different provider is justified every quarter.

I have been using this service for about two years since it was recommended to me via my Choice Magazine membership. I believe the critical difference between this and other comparison sites is its independence. I pay the subscription to sustain its business model, but that money is more than offset by its ongoing savings on bills over time.
It completes the financial analysis on my behalf and makes periodic recommendations for me to consider as savings hit a particular threshold that I nominate.
Overall, I’m happy with the service. I only wish the churning process could be somewhat streamlined. But that’s not Billhero’s issue. It’s just how the system works.

Little effort reaps high rewards. Do yourself a service and subscribe!

I’ve had a bill hero subscription for a year and have saved hundreds. Low effort, high gains.

Bill Hero is the best. They review your bill and make sure that you are on the lowest rates. The fact that they compare the entire market without alliances is most important. Even if they don’t find you a saving they give you the confidence you’re on a competitive plan.

Bill Hero makes it easy, email your account they review and get back very quickly and advise to stay or go..if go they give options..
With big price increases and complicated charging systems which are not universal to all retailers makes it very time consuming and complicated to compare.....Bill Hero does it for you and you'll save more over the year than the subscription cost...

Every now and then, something great comes along, for us, it was Bill Hero. The subscription is such a small price to pay for Bill Hero's proactive monitoring of retail pricing in the Australian energy market. We have saved so much more than the subscription price in just 6 months with virtually no effort on our part. Bill Hero does all the hard work comparing vendor prices. It is a great service!
