You responded to my review below and did not tell the truth! Your customer service is absolutely shocking and you should be held accountable for not telling the truth. Totally unacceptable.

Disgusting boerewors, finely ground like a dog food texture in my opinion.Cannot call it South African Boerewors,they need to change the name.Very misleading. The manager did not get back to me after I called twice about my complaint.Ignoring the customer after receiving payment.Very evasive indeed.I ordered 6 x packs of different types of boerewors.All gone to the bin.As a south african you will be very disappointed in this product as it is not the same as South Africa,I can asure you that in my opinion.Absolutely disgusting to say the least,not juicy and flavoursome, no coriander seeds or spices present.What you get after cooking it is a terrible taste,it is like processed polony in a hog casing all dried up like window putty in my opinion. I do not know what is exactly in it. Does not specify exactly what is in there ,Ossewa Boerewors, 56% beef 32% pork.Does not specify what type of beef cut it is or what type of cut the pork is.Left very vague on ingredients list.Do not know if Offal was used.Have never tasted boerewors made like this.There ostrich wors ,is not ostrich in my opinion and also finely ground.Very disappointed after I trusted that it would be nice.FIY there Tomohawk Steak was out of date aswell and they still sent it out in delivery.They import that from Ireland and was chewy as it was frozen for a long time.Wish I read all the negative reviews on trust pilot before ordering from them.I Do Not Recommend Biltong St Marcus period.I had to leave 1 star but 0 star is more accurate.

Recently ordered from St Marcus, some products incl 4x 500g boerewors.
Have to say that after trying the first pack, it was probably the worst boerewors I have ever tried!!
Uneatable, dens, no fat content and tasteless!
Soo disappointing and will stick with Hunters as they never disappoint with all their meat products!

Not here to comment on the product but the driving around Reigate. Very aggressive and performed an incredibly dangerous manoeuvre putting others at risk.

Lovely biltong and meat. My fav place to order from. Arrived in a well packaged box and already eating my venison sticks.

Shocking quality horrible boerewors and customer service is non existent. I have tried 2 different ways of contacting this company and have just been ignored. Very disappointing.

I have been consistently impressed with the service and products from St Marcus over the last couple of years. I placed my latest order on Sunday night and the parcel was delivered on Tuesday. Well packed and everything intact. Thank you for supplying me with my favourite South African goodies.

Just FYI, I have been a customer for many years, over the last 2 orders the wors has a lots of non edible pieces in the wors . Seems like to make the weight junk is being tossed in . I buy in bulk and have noticed this on 2 separate occasions . The dry wors has also changed flavour . The wagu was great but the regularly Biltong has changed too , texture and flavour. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed, I don't usually leave negative reviews but this was just so bad I had too. Received 1kg of biltong when I ordered 5kg. packaging was poor and marie biscuits got crushed. Droewors was more like a dried salami stick. Refund for the other 4kg of biltong I never received was £8 short. Ingredients on packaging was completely different to what is shown on website and contains way more preservatives and other nasty ingredients.

Perishable items delivered from this company which should have arrived frozen were delivered in a defrosted state. Although the T&Cs state that St Marcus cannot be held responsible for defrosted meat products we assured by phone when ordering that the snoek we ordered would arrive in perfect condition. The after sales service I received following my complaint was inadequate and not understanding of my complaint.

Dreadful. So chewy it was i edible. Total waste if money. Avoid. Do not buy.

Really helpful staff allowing me to pick up my online order in store ready for collection. Excellent quality

In fact, unbelievably excellent service. I ordered 18 bottles of wine yesterday midday and they arrived at 08.15 this morning. I have so many Brownie points credit with hubby now, especially as they were at a discounted price. Will definitely be using you again.

Sent out of date products and 2 failed attempts at communications

Despite enquiring previously about dates on products before purchase no response was given, I decided to chance it anyway and was sent expired products

I emailed about a refund or replacement for only the 1 expired product (big bottle of mazoe over a month past it's date) only to have a failed message delivery notification when contacting via email

I unfortunately strongly do not recommend this supplier which is a big shame as I was hopeing to find a good long term supplier of my favourite SA products... My search continues I guess

Biltong is decent. Not excellent, but also not terrible. Medium dry. Nice cut. Nice amount of fat.

Droewors however is awful. Cut into tiny pieces. Tastes and smells like a perreroni stick, so UK locals might like it but it isn’t recommended for South Africans

Hi, yes they selling too dry and hard biltong, looks like out of date. Not even tasty, as I tried at Savanna shops in London (another biltong company)
Never buy again.

Items still frozen upon arrival.
Opened one of each type of product - delicious!!!
The prices have gone up significantly, but this is happening everywhere, unfortunately.

Did what they said they would do. Parcel just arrived and exceedingly well packed. Parcel contents will now be going to a Terblanche in Indonesia. Daughter very pleased and Dad will be using St Marcus in the future. All good

What a joke of a company! Sending expired products. Then demanding it gets sent back. Then refusing my refund!
