Birchbox Scam!!
I have been with Birchbox for several years, paid for a six month subscription in July 22, received one box in August and was asked to update my account to their new website which now states no subscription exists. I have emailed 3 times and get the generic reply, nothing done so have asked for a refund, and tweeted them directly but does not show online, this is fraudulent so will now pursue through my credit card supplier

July, through September boxes were late abd duplicate products. Feels like they are just getting rid of old stock.

Honestly the worst beauty box there is! The products are awful, you’ve never heard of them… but even worse is the customer service and the lack of consistency in receiving boxes. For the past 3/4 months now I’ve received my box the following month it was due, however they still charge on the first of the month, but don’t ship until 6/7 weeks later!! I’ve since cancelled my subscription and gone elsewhere but I would go elsewhere for a better experience and better products (you’ve actually heard of)!

I’ve been a customer with Birchbox for nearly 7yrs.. the service used to be fantastic and was incredibly helpful to have small versions of things for the amount of travel I do with my job. However I cannot stress enough how terribly they have become. I paid for an upfront yearly subscription, which I’ve done every year, and I’ve not received a box since august. I’ve had to send multiple emails and keep being told it’s being looked into but nothing happens. I’ve asked for a refund which has been ignored. I’ve made complaints to trading standard and they deleting my comments asking people to do the same. BYPASS AND FIND ANOTHER COMPANT

Ordered 1st box on the 9th October, still waiting on it arriving. Like others, emails always says it’s being looked into & then nothing. They’ve ignored requests for a refund.

I wish I could give them zero stars. I've been a customer for over 4 years and never had an issue before the last few months. They updated their website which resulted in me being locked out of my account and unable to choose samples- I had to contact them multiple times to resolve this. I then had to chase my box for September and it didn't arrive until October. Another delay for the October box meant that I had to email again (multiple times), only to be told it had somehow been "lost in transit", despite Evri never having received it. I requested a new box but SHOCK they couldn't replace it as they had none left. Still waiting on a refund but I won't hold my breath. They've been sending old stock for months (my mum received an old, used make up bag as her September box) and taking money despite not being able to fulfil orders. I've now cancelled my subscription and encourage everyone else to do so.

I think they are scamming people
Haven't received a box since July, every time I contact I get a generic reply saying it's their "top priority" and the technical team "is looking into it", have asked for updates and further clarification and just gotten the same response followed by "we have closed this ticket" don't know how they can justify closing out the complaint when nothing has been solved.
Even before this the boxes were very same-ey. Hardly ever get makeup, just generic hair and face stuff and nothing exciting. Got the same products twice on several occasions.

Thieves!! Bought a years subscription in advance. I received the first box in July and nothing since - contacted customer service, the said they were sorry it was taking so long but not to worry because I won’t be charged if my box has not been shipped. I highlighted my annual prepay had been taken and they stopped responding. This is a SCAM - avoid

They are so poor never respond nor do they seem to be operating openly. I’m still waiting for my October box despite being told it wails be on its way soon. That was 2 weeks ago. It seems Burch box Uk is a shambles. I’d never buy anything as you don’t know how long you would have to wait for delivery

data breach Birchbox?
Like others I have been locked out of my account (since the summer). I have emailed numerous times asking for issue to be fixed, but am forever told that it will be fixed soon (3 months and counting). I received the September box but it was beyond poor and no sign of October’s box. I am contacting my bank to cancel the direct debit as can’t log in to my Birchbox account to do it! I am concerned there was a massive data breach, hence all the ‘losing’ of accounts. Really should make official complaint to the powers that be, this is dodgy as hell!

Absolutely disgraceful. New customer , signed up for September box , no sign of it today and I’ve been told it’s now out of stock ! How can this be when I already purchased it and choose products in it . Complete waste of time and money. AVOID !

They changed their system and as a result my account disappeared. I stopped receiving boxes despite having paid in advance for a full year’s subscription. They have no phone number and every time I emailed them I got the same generic response back. I have had to raise the issue with my credit card company in order to try and get a refund. Absolutely woeful customer service. Do not sign up to this service!

Not worth it
I am cancelling my subscription due to the compeltely unacceptable delays! My September box came on the 3rd of October, and my October box has yes to arrive! This is unacceptable, especially since this dleay has not been acknolwgaed. No one apologised for the delay, no one has attempted to make up for this, it's ridicilous! Very unhappy, the products are always repetative and so delayed! Not worth it

Going downhill won’t renew subscription …
I’ve been a customer for over a year and their service/ box content has really taken a nosedive over the past 3-4 months. Finally received my September box on 13th October, the October one came on 17th, both had repeat items (?old stock), the make up/wash bags I had already received last year, and there was repeat make up

Failed to deliver, provide or contact.
I can’t access my account and have asked for an activation link. I’ve not received it yet. I’ve been billed however for two birchboxes and have not received them. I’ve contacted their help page and nothing has moved on. I used to love Birchbox and it was a little treat for me each month. Now, as soon as it’s possible I will be cancelling. To anyone reading this, sadly I have to suggest you avoid Birchbox and look somewhere else.
