The best part of the order was the box…
The best part of the order was the box !!
The flowers were awful, more greenery than flowers
Quality and content abysmal, and by Mothers Day they were dying
Never again Will order from Bloomex
I have received flowers from my…
I have received flowers from my daughter for Mothers Day on Friday. I never seen such dead old flowers for gift.
When I opened the box, the petals fall on after another and flowers already turned brown and black and totally sick and died. For a delivery to arrive in this condition on the same day is something that shouldn't happen during delivery. They are let customer down. It's a shame.
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. I actually thought I was purchasing from a local supplier as they were trading under a different name, not bloomex. Was supposed to be next day delivery of bereavement flowers for our friends but they were a no-show. I advised a new date which was a week later once our friends were home from out of town funeral. The flowers turned up while they were away and were left outside. Luckily a friend of theirs came to check on the house and put them in a vase inside. She sent us a photo of them and they are not at all what we ordered. Small, bright garish flowers that look like we bought them from a supermarket. We paid a lot for them and the image showed a large elegant bouquet of white and pastels. Terrible response when I complained, basically told they look healthy and are fine. Will never use them again.
0 star if I could
0 star if I could - live up to all there reviews , paid and organised well in advance for a Friday delivery for a Mother’s Day arrangement - long story short the flowers will not be now getting to her till Tuesday the 11th of may not only will they be dying but if they can’t even get there delivery times right I’d hate to see what the flowers look like that I paid over $140 for …
Delivered flowers on the wrong day
Delivered flowers on the wrong day to the day I selected. Contacted support two days before to ask why the delivery date was incorrect and they assured me it would be delivered on the day I selected, and it still was not. Terrible service, customer service- would not order here again
So dissatisfied with the flowers.
So dissatisfied with the flowers.
Delivered on the wrong day. Flowers half dead measly bunch.
My daughter spent her hard earned cash on flowers for me for Mother’s Day.
I could cry.
Will be taking it to consumer affairs and every media platform I can.
They should be ashamed of themselves.Robbing hard working kiwis
HORRIBLE FLORIST
Ordered a seemingly big beautiful bouquet for my mother for Mother’s Day. They delivered a miserable pile of leaves with four flowers, and changed delivery to Friday instead of Sunday without discussing it with me - only sent me an email right as the flowers were being delivered with a lame excuse about “extensive volume of orders”. Ridiculous for a florist who should be well aware of order volumes for this date, especially when I still had to pay high prices for delivery on the chosen date. Trash. Don’t bother ordering from here.
What a load of lies
What a load of lies! Don’t bother! I spent $125 for a Mother’s Day gift and the sent it two days earlier and the wrong flowers! Then after saying that I got an email saying order now just in time for Mother’s Day!! NEVER AGAIN.
Received flowers for mothers day
Received flowers for mothers day, don't think they'll last that long as they're half dead already. Wilted and brown. Not the first time I've been disappointed by a delivery from them.
Yup terrible
Yup terrible. I hope people check reviews before they buy. I was told they couldn't do same day even though when ordering online it said they could. Tried to cancel my order as another florist said no problem and did deliver same day. Next day still no flowers from them or reply to my emails.
WARNING Do not order from them
WARNING Do not order from them. Flowers were over a day late. And not worth the money, could of got better from the supermarket or even petrol station
Disappointing Service
Hi
Ordered flowers from you and it said same day delivery, didnt get delivered till 4pm, called multiple times and the team couldnt even tell me estimate what time it might get delivered, said its up to the courier company. On top of that, said to write a message on website which will be included with the flowers, i wrote a message the message was not even on a card, instead it was written on the back of the 15% discount page. Really disappointing service for the price.
Feel the same as every other person…
Feel the same as every other person wished I'd read the reviews...Total disappoi nugent and now will need to get a new card 🙄
Would give 0 stars if I could
Would give 0 stars if I could. Never arrived, hard to deal with, had to contact multiple times for a response. Avoid at all costs!
If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered a bouquet and vase combo for mums birthday. On arrival vase was smashed inside packaging. Thinking it would be an instant easy reperation by a reputable company but no how wrong I was. Customer care sent me a $20 gift voucher to go towards buying more flowers. Why on earth would I want that? Simply send a new vase to the address supplied or reimburse the vase or total amount. Not rocket science. Terrible customer service is an understatement. Recommend trying a different florist people.
HEARTBREAKING DO NOT ORDER FROM BLOOMEX…
HEARTBREAKING DO NOT ORDER FROM BLOOMEX OR ANY ASSOCIATED BRAND FRONTS
If you are considering ordering flowers for anything important, especially a funeral or time sensitive occasion, stop and read this first. Bloomex failed at every stage of my order and the only reason I received a refund was extreme escalation through my bank, Consumer Affairs Victoria, and a report lodged with the ACCC. There was no meaningful communication at any point.
I ordered a $130 sympathy bouquet of white and pale roses for delivery before a funeral. What was delivered was nothing like what I ordered. The flowers did not match the description at all. Because they failed to deliver on the correct day, an unapproved “gourmet” upgrade was added and the substitute was a packet of plain Arrowroot biscuits. These were purported to be a gourmet upgrade. It was completely inappropriate, not requested, and deeply upsetting given the circumstances.
From the beginning, the experience was misleading. The website appeared to be a local florist, but the service is a centralised fulfilment system rather than an actual local florist. Delivery dates changed repeatedly, tracking information contradicted itself, and communication was inconsistent or automated.
Customer service was effectively unusable
Chat drops off if it cannot resolve an issue
Phone support is practically unreachable with excessive hold times
Emails are ignored or answered with scripted responses
After the failure, I was offered a $40 store credit. This was not acceptable in any way. On a $130 order that was not delivered as described, store credit is not compensation, and I would not use it even if it covered the full amount. I would still have to pay delivery again, which made it meaningless. I would never use this company again, even with store credit or “goodwill” offers.
To actually resolve the issue I had to escalate through multiple channels:
corporate(at)bloomex.com.au;
sydney(at)bloomex.com.au;
florist-ops(at)bloomex.com.au;
care(at)customerservice.bloomex.com.au;
corporate(at)bloomex.ca;
publicrelations(at)bloomex.ca;
melbourne(at)bloomex.com.au
I also contacted Bloomex Australia directly via LinkedIn.
No one ever communicated with me. I simply received a refund notification without explanation. I still do not know which contact triggered it.
Bloomex has previously been the subject of regulatory action by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission for misleading and deceptive conduct relating to online pricing and advertising practices in its flower sales operations, including issues around delivery fees and promotional claims. From mine and other people’s recent experiences nothing seems to have changed.
The refund only came after escalating through Consumer Affairs Victoria, my bank dispute process, and a report lodged with the ACCC.
Their substitution and delivery policies are effectively designed in a way that does not hold up to Australian Consumer Law protections and in practice function to disadvantage customers rather than protect them.
Given these repeated issues and ongoing consumer complaints, it is difficult to understand how these practices continue. It is surprising the ACCC is not able to take stronger action to prevent this pattern of harm from continuing to affect customers repeatedly.
Key issues:
Incorrect flowers delivered, nothing like what was ordered.
Unapproved substitution of “gourmet” upgrade with biscuits.
Misleading product description.
Unreliable delivery timing.
Customer service inaccessible or non responsive.
Refund only achieved through extreme escalation.
Store credit offered instead of proper refund, but not acceptable and not used.
This was not a minor service failure. It was a funeral order that failed at every critical point, then required regulator level escalation just to resolve.
Even after refund, there was no accountability or communication.
I would not use Bloomex under any circumstances, even with store credit, and I strongly advise others to avoid them for any important occasion.
Avoid these clowns.
If I could select zero stars I would. I’ve sadly used these clowns to buy flowers for a friend, the we’re about a quarter of the size and pretty much dead. Then my elderly mother from overseas spent a small fortune sending flowers to my wife for her birthday and they are crap. Truely terrible! Avoid this company! They are not local.
DONT USE BLOOMEX OR NZ blooms
Don’t use this company nor their other company. Both are rubbish.
They will not deliver on time and the flower they send it’s almost dead. Photos attached.
Made 2 orders one from Bloomex and one from NZ BLOOMS.
Order that was meant to be delivered on 29/04/26 to a business address didn’t get delivered until 10pm at night. Driver let it outside the office $120 bouquet.
Order that was supposed to be delivered on 30/04/26 came the driver didn’t even ring the door bell left it outside and this was $160+ and it looks dead.
Honestly DO NOT USE THEM.
Their customer service is offshore so you won’t get any help calling them. Use a proper local company instead.
Pathetic and appalling
Flowers delivered day late, with a blank card and only a few roses. Definitely not worth $70.00. Hard to understand bad English on the ph. Rang 4 times to complain overall, no follow-up from them. Bad, poor and appalling service overall
