Hype and no substance
So the blackpods started popping up after they featured on a prominent review channel - so naturally I joined the bandwagon and bought, who wouldn’t want a direct replica a a fraction of the cost? Payment and conformation was processed quickly, the following day I got a ‘pre dispatch’ email and then.......nothing but for 3 day updates saying that they were overwhelmed with orders so shipping would be delayed by a week. Despite this, despite not having a shipping date and despite being overwhelmed....the company has consistently sent emails offering additional units at discount prices. It feels very much like a drop sale where they don’t actually have the product yet but are driving sales. It’s been almost two weeks since I ordered and I don’t have a dispatch confirmation (I’m assuming they are to overwhelmed with demand to post out) but I do have lots of discount codes if anyone wants to order
