Thank You to Guy (simply brilliant)

I can only say that this company and the plumber who fitted our boiler are brilliant. Guy arrived at our house in what can only be described as sub zero temperatures. Our house is difficult to access in the snow so guy parked as close to the house as possible and carried his tools, pipework and the new boiler for a sustained period in the snow to our house. He knew we had been without a boiler for a week and had definite concern for the welfare of my family. When he first looked at the boiler it was evident that the pipes inside the house were frozen solid and many had popped out of their fittings. At this point he reassured me that he would stay at th house until the work was done and the boiler was fitted. He did. After working on the boiler all day (from 9am - 6pm) without a break, the new boiler fired up to restore normality in our home. If guy hadn’t gone above and beyond the call of duty my wife and children would still be living in a freezing cold house. Top man, top worksmanship and a definite thumbs up from me. Highly recommended and someone who has a rare ability to take great pride in his work, whilst genuinely wanting to help others. Thank you to guy and the whole team at boilers on finance. 5 stars for a 5 star fitter and company.

The service from this place is so poor it’s actually Embarrassing

Boiler installed two weeks ago, boilers not worked properly ever since, leaving us with no heat for 4 days now.
Installation - Guy who installed it left my kitchen in a mess, actually burnt my ceiling which will need repainting as a result. Most the day was spent working on boiler whilst glued to his mobile phone speaking with who I assume was his girlfriend or mates about social plans that evening. He also decided to use my wok to store screws & rubbish in, which he also randomly placed outside on the floor in my back garden. Whilst he was here he also asked for some food, yes, he actually asked if we had any crisps or chocolate for his lunch.
A further guy came out about a week later to see to an installation issue, nice guy & much more professional. Poor guy was sent a long way for job with no part, despite the ‘office’ knowing what part was required in advance; the guy still had to drive round for 2 hours looking for the part he needed & couldn’t get what he needed to do the job - all round wasted trip.
The same day, barely a week after installation the boiler packs up & leaves us with no heat. On raising this with various managers we’ve been faced with nothing but extremely poor service. For instance, we were informed that a guy would be coming round to do a repair (which my husband took time off work for) & as no one showed up mid morning we called the office to find that no one was coming & no one thought to contact us to let us know. We keep being told that the weather is a problem, yeah we understand, we’ve been freezing in our house during the coldest winter in the UK for decades due to not having a functioning boiler.
Our problem is the complete lack of service, the company have taken no accountability for their mistakes & have shown no initiative or empathy at that. Not once have we had a courtesy call to see how we are managing without any heating. Not once did anyone from the office contact us to give us any sort of assurance that the matter was being looked in to. All we have heard from them is that they are bogged down due to weather - thing is we raised our issues before this weather kicked in. The fact of the matter is that the service has gone from bad to worse & been absolutely awful from day one.
By far the worse company I’ve ever dealt with. Absolutely awful, honestly feels like most the workers just don’t know what they’re doing. Even the people on the phone in customer care, like speaking to a five year old. It’s embarrassing.

Amazing service !

Terry and Guy came to install a new boiler in my house after two weeks of no hot water or heating ! They were friendly ,efficient and explained everything , the job became more complicated and they worked tirelessly for around 8 hours , no lunch break ! When I looked at my bathroom I thought they would never get it back looking the same as they had to take carpet and floorboards up ! When they finished it was like magically back to normal ! They then had a very long drive to another destination for work the next day , highly recommend the company and Guy and Terry !

my boiler broke and was very old so I…

my boiler broke and was very old so I decided to renew it and went with boilers on finance. it was very quick to get a new boiler on finance and installation was very quick. I ordered Friday night and was installed on the Tuesday. the fitter called Anthony was very efficient clean and tidy. Anthony used sheets and carpet rods to keep the landing, hallway and stairs clean. he was very quick clean and helpful and I can't thank him enough for coming out on a horrible snowy day. all in all I would highly recommend boilers on finance.

Emergency boiler

Excellent customer service, very helpfull, polite and prompt. Clearly outlining all details and very patient whilst awaiting our desiscion.

Good Installation

Installation went ahead on day and time stated, engineers polite, tidy cleared away all rubbish and removed old boiler .plenty of advice given everything explained .All very good so far

First time I have ever bought anything…

First time I have ever bought anything on finance so wasn’t completely sure how to go about it. I felt completely at ease with the guy on the phone, he was very professional and made me aware of all the information I needed. I would highly recommend to friends and family looking for a new boiler

when i phoned your company i was very upset and confussed in what i had to do to get a new boiler. After just a few moments i was made to feel incontrol and the prosses was so easy, i was helped by a young man named Josh who sensed i was upset and made me feel relaxed and that everything will be okay i must say the whole prosses was brillant and now can't wait for my new bolier to be fitted and happy with the knowing that i'm in good hands thank you again for such a good service

Not done the work i was qoted for i still have the old flue were back boiler was the quote clearly says removal of old flue the men i site did not no they ad to do this so refused on there grounds not getting paid to remove this is not my problem i let them see quote and they said only getting paid £300 pounds i said im paying£2900 pounds i now cant get a gas fire fitted due to this so would not advise people to deal with this company and i will be taking things further has i today 2 weeks later im .now waiting for them to fix new boiler no hot water now would not recour mend

Very Stressful January /February.

Boiler installed 8/01/18 no heating for three whole days , due to problems the installer had , not able to get the new boiler to work, Its January and freezing.
The company had to send out various Engineers etc to actually get the boiler to work,we then had various issues with the flue ,three flues later we get a new one through our roof but then after a few hours the boiler stopped again.28/01/18 am to pm 31/01/18 .
Five more days no heating until they sent out more engineers to fix the problem.so far so good.
We feel that the company could have better handled our situation .They did not keep us informed .The young lady on the number we called for installations had tried her best but she was up against it i felt quite sorry for her i give her 10/10.
But if you need a new Boiler in the Winter as we did, do not use this company.
Update 22/02/18 our boiler cut out 23/02/18 boiler cut out we are actually so fed up with this whole situation because now we have to try to get this resolved and it’s going to be a nightmare will update .
Engineer arrived here 1515 ..27/0218.
Turns out the boiler had been wired incorrectly and needed a live feed you would think after all this time they would have realised the error.This has now been rectified and the boiler seems to be ok so far , hopefully we might have a trouble free experience from now on . The only saving grace was it was then working all through the horrendous weather we have all had ,but I feel this was more luck than judgment..
