A sound way to get a new boiler.
So, I contacted BOF and was dealt with by a very friendly chap called Bobby. The process was extremely easy and every step of the process was explained clearly, I signed up. I then thought I would check the reviews for the company and was a bit shocked to see negative reviews. This nearly led to me cancelling my order but I am glad that I didn't.
My installation was set up for Saturday 10th March and unfortunately it was cancelled due to illness of the installer. Oh dear - here we go I thought maybe the negative reviews were going to be right after all. But, no, give the benefit of the doubt. The installation was re-booked for 12th March and sure enough the engineer arrived. The job was undertaken in one day and I have to say that I can not praise Guy Machin (MTD Plumbing Ltd) the installer enough. He was courteous, prompt, clean, tidy and above all professional. From beginning to end I have found BOF to be a great way of getting a new boiler. Fingers crossed that the service I have received continues.

I found this company online after my boiler broke down during the recent freezing cold spell. The price was very good and the monthly finance was essential for me. This was set up very quickly and all was arranged for the new boiler to be fitted the next day (Sunday). However there was an unfortunate delay of 3 days which I was not happy about, the new boiler was not delivered to the warehouse on time. The boiler fitting went smoothly and am now warm!

Very Impressed!
Very easy process over the phone to select the correct boiler, book installation and arrange finance. Next day installation was promised (this was during the "Beast from the East" chaos, too) and engineer contacted me later that day to discuss his visit. Due to a change in circumstance, I subsequently cancelled my order completely - again over the phone and, despite understandably being upset at me messing them around, the operator was courteous and cancelled everything with no fuss. You'll get a new boiler cheaper, but possibly not easier or quicker.

These guys were brilliant from start to finish. The customer service team were really clear and helpful when going through the order, and I was really surprised that I was able to get a date for installation in just a few days.
The engineers Danny and John were outstanding. They worked exceptionally hard and I don't think they even had a break! They removed the old boiler from the utility room downstsirs and installed the new one in the bathroom upstairs. It was a big job and they completed and left the house tidy, all in a days work.
I would highly recommended this company!

My boiler was fitted within the week, the fitter did a really great job and made sure any little issues were resolved before leaving and tidied up afterwards.

Dreadful service!!!!!
Dreadful service. Would not recommend this company at all. I am a single parent with 2 children and am registered disabled. Boiler ordered and fitted. Engineer left rubbish lying around and couldn’t wait to get finished. He left with 4 radiators in my house not working. He told me that he would speak to his boss and call me later in the day. The call never came. Woke in the morning to no heating at all!!! Engineer cancelled various appointments..... even got a text at 1am on Sunday morning to cancel his Sunday visit. Customer services didn’t seem to care. They said they would call back but NEVER did. I was always calling them to find out what was happening. No compassion at all to my plight. Engineer eventually came back. He was here for less than an hour and within 20 minutes of him leaving I had no heating again!!! Customer services said it must be a fault with my radiators not the boiler so it wasn’t their responsibility.
My dad has managed to get my heating working ( although not fully).
I feel completely let down by Boilers on Finance and would rather have them come and take the boiler away so that I can use a reputable company. From what I have dealt with I am sure they won’t reply to this or even give me a courtesy call.
Without doubt the worst company i have ever dealt with. Avoid at all costs
