Just when I thought my faulty chair issue had been resolved
Just when I thought my faulty chair problem had been solved - today I received a phonecall from DHL (nearly a month on since the issue being resolved) telling me that the faulty item which bombinate had arranged to have collected from my property and shipped back to Germany is missing some crucial delivery information and therefore will be sent back to my flat.
I am very disappointed about this as although it was a lengthy process to get a new chair part sent to me, I am now responsible for dealing with the faulty part and any costs that will be incurred due to the item sitting in the customs depot for 24 days.
This should not be my responsibility as a customer

Great experience, fast delivery (for something coming from Hong Kong), and when I needed help, they replied quickly and got the information I needed.
Overall brilliant experience! Will deffo purchase from them again.
Delays delays and finally cancelled
I ordered a rug in January which had an estimated delivery of end of January which is the sole reason for purchasing from this website. I contacted numerous times and was told it would be shipped soon. Then in March I am told it is discontinued and my order is cancelled. Not happy January sales are over and I could have purchased this rug from elsewhere and have it in my dining room by now.

Don't fool for the nice website...
I ordered two sets of pretty expensive bed linen from bombinate about a month ago. It took 3 weeks to arrive but that didn't worry me too much, until it arrived in the wrong size! Both sets! It came with no returns slip or any info, so I emailed the customer service team who took 5 days to respond to my first email, and all they told me was that they were looking into it. Meanwhile, the days are passing with no word from them, it's now 5 weeks since I placed the order and I have no way of returning this bed linen and have nothing that fits my duvet... Oh, and I've been in touch with their customer service team again... twice... and have still had no response. Honestly wouldn't bother ordering from this company - you're better off going directly to the manufacturers. All they do is stock other people's products anyway so it's basically like another version of Wish.com but with nice branding who take a cut from the independents - don't fool for it.

Goods not arrived and no updates given
Updates - Thanks Karen for sorting. It was very frustrating, but I really appreciate that you have sorted everything out and updated me as to what is going on. The original experience does not seem to be reflective of the company.
I have not received the item that I ordered after a month. I have requested an update and told they are waiting for an update from the brand. After a week of asking I still have no update and my requests for a refund have been ignored.

Good Customer Service
I ordered a Chair and footstool end November and was told that it might not be delivered until February. Throughout that time I received progress updates. Finally I had shipping confirmation and followed the chair’s journey from Germany to the UK (I have time on my hands during Lockdown!) I am very pleased with the product for the price I paid but would agree with another reviewer that stickers over holes take away its high end potential. My five star rating would be based on customer service. 3 stars for the product at its price.

Bought an armchair from them. It arrives but it was a demaged one. Difficult to arrange a return or replacement. Money was hold for 2 months now. Unbelievable

Please DO NOT buy any product from this brand. I have ordered a bench on 20 November 2020 and on 19 January 2021 I still do not know where my product is - probably lost. I have requested a cancellation and a refund since it has been 3 months I have ordered my product and they do not have any idea where it is. Bombinate still keeps me waiting trying to have a cancellation confirmation from the brand. I was very smooth and calm in the process until now but I am no fool. I didn’t buy the bench from the brand directly so Bombinate cannot keep my money awaiting confirmation from the brand. I am very disappointed with this compant; I would expect more of a company like this one and wish I did not buy anything in the first place. Such a shame!

Very nice customer support
I bought a pullover which was then sadly lost by the post. All the time, during the process of finding the article, I had a very nice and helpful support.
Although it might be lost now and the pullover was out of stock, I received my money back instantly.
Bombinate cares really well about there customers.
As this was not my only order (I received the other goods in perfect condition and the quality of the offered products is great), this was definitely not my last order.
Bought two Retrostar armchairs
Bought two Retrostar armchairs. Fast delivery, less than two weeks. No problem with the chairs. They feel a bit cheap (lightweight, “wood”-stickers to cover the screws, etc.) but they also were cheap so I didn’t expect high class quality. The fabric is very nice.
Website showed wrong total
Solved -> they refunded me!
I ordered an armchair. With the delivery address & welcome coupon I was supposed to pay 312€ in total. When payed, I see that they took 377€. During the whole payment process I never encountered that exact price, no notice, no warning. I also sent them an email with two screenshots proving what customers see when they pay. They have not answered me yet.

I bought a pair of Gloves
I bought a pair of Gloves, size too small compared to the French size, I returned them on December 14th and since the parcel is in a post office in Belgium and no one is going to collect it, despite the many emails sent. Bombinate site strongly discouraged

No delivery and won’t reply to calls or emails
We ordered two arm chairs from Bombinate, they were supposed to arrive by Christmas for a Christmas present but we have had radio silence from them since the order, apart from of course the daily spam emails. Clearly with two days till Christmas they will not arrive on time. I have tried phoning and emailing on numerous occasions to no avail, no one gets back to me. They were very quick to take my money and now they have no incentive to honour their delivery dates.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Ordered a pair of shoes from the website and the design of the back of the shoe was arched and hard and from the first day i wore the shoes it make my ankles bleed. I tried to return them and they wouldn't accept them since they had signs of wear & tear. Of course the issue would not be apparent from just looking at them. The website support continued to defent the shoe brand and i did not get my refund. Never again. And people will know make sure of that.

Ordered a wallet and a bag. Beautiful leatherware. First time I ordered just from a picture and not touching the actual product. I was not disappointed. Received my orders quick en elegantly packed. Just ordered a rollneck sweater.
Misleading delivery times. No Christmas present!
Like several other people who have reviewed on here, I ordered a foot stool back in November which had a delivery date of between 26 Nov and 16th Dec. I was concerned to see my order status remained as pending whenever I checked on it. I contacted Bombinate both on the chat and email and was told that it would take 4-6 weeks from order date - this was not the information given at point of order. Then I was told I should try and have some understanding as the delay was due to the "Pandemic". Well if this had been back in March or April when the pandemic was new, I would absolutely have understood. But there has been plenty of time since then to update delivery estimates to ensure they are inline with what is possible. I feel Bombinate deliberately mislead me, and many others, with a promise of pre-christmas delivery. I would never have ordered this item, which was supposed to be a gift, otherwise. In fact the delivery dates continue to suggest unlikely delivery timelines starting one week from today, despite assurances from Bombinate that they would update their website! I have tried to log in again today to check if by any chance there is an update but I can't even get onto the "my orders" page. It says "an unexpected error has occurred". Funny that. Evidently they no longer want us to see that delivery promises will not be met. My advice, don't order from here if you want your item to be delivered to any sort of deadline. I will be asking for a refund and shopping elsewhere. And I wouldn't purchase from Bombinate again since I have little faith that I would receive what I ordered.

Always enjoy shopping with Bombinate. I have experienced both great purchases as well as products which fall under expectations, but regardless the communication has remained excellent and returns/replacements are probably one of the most straightforward processes I've ever had.
Atypical - in a good way!
I ordered an Atypical brand long sleeve shirt - shipped from Italy and made with the quality you would expect from such a garment. Due to the awkward size of my chest I didn’t quite fit in the top, so I asked to return. Customer service was top notch and ended up gifting the top to my father. Couldn’t rate Bombinate more!
