Absolutely disgusted with the customer…

Absolutely disgusted with the customer service. Recieved my order last week and discovered an item missing. Contacted Boohoo Customer Support expecting it to be easily rectified, couldn't have been more wrong. I have emailed back and forth since initial contact with 4 different members of staff basically insinuating I'm lying and saying they could take legal action because according to them they viewed CCTV and the item was definitely packed. I was not going to let this go as I know for a fact I should have received 7 items in my order but only 6 was delivered. I provided proof that the weight on the postage label matched the weight of the 6 items i received, if there was 7 items the weight would have been more. Still they insisted they sent the item. I then made a SAR request to view this apparent CCTV 4 different members of staff say they viewed shown all items being packed along with a letter template from the ICO. Surprise surprise, I have just received another email from a manager apologising saying they went and viewed the CCTV and my item was infact not packed and it will now be sent out. After reading reviews on other sites this appears to be a common occurrence with Boohoo, how many customers are they getting away with stealing from because they are insisting they have CCTV evidence and making customers feel there is nothing more they can do. I will be continuing with my complaint through the ICO.

I received my order and there was an item missing.. I contacted boohoo and delt with somebody called Princess.. she was excellent and delt with the problem straight away.. the new item was sent out straight away via next day delivery...

Listing suddenly changed after order was placed.

I am not ordering here again.
I decided to try some jeans as they had a sale, I ordered a light grey washed jean and a light blue washed jean. When I received the order I noticed a black jean. and a dark blue jean. I looked in my account, and saw that they looked like the pictures, but that's not what I ordered at all. When I looked up the products on Google, I found the pictures of the jeans I chose, and when I clicked on the pictures, I got sent to the jeans I received and saw in my account.

One of the jeans is cheaply made and has a really cheap look overall, and I've been trying to find a way to return it without spending the extra money for the return, but their team is not helpful at all. They see that I ordered those items, so that's what they keep repeating. It's their word against mine, and I wished I'd taken a screenshot of my order before the listings suddenly changed.

Won't be ordering again ever

Won;t be ordering again ever. my last order consisted on 3 bikinis, sunglasses and a head accessory, totaling to about 50 something euro. All swimwear fits weird and needs altering and the material is super cheap. Not worth it I'd rather spend more and buy good stuff.

SCAM COMPANY

I am unable to return items as this company won’t send a return authority code, emailed customer service who told me to use return portal, I contacted boohoo via Facebook & was asked to supply my details including name, address & date of birth & then my bank details I supplied order number but think this is a scam phishing site

Again you send the wrong order of…

Again you send the wrong order of dresses, and i have never received the refund for the dress i sent back some time ago
You are in breach of taking money and not providing the goods ordered or refunding.
I would advise to stay clear of this company as trying to contact customer service or return goods is likened to an assault course.
I'm done spending anymore money with this crap company.

The company name is legit because you…hate them

The company name is legit because you will be crying having to deal with them.

I ordered a black men’s tracksuit, some 10 days later it finally arrives (I get it, European post can be slow sometimes) so I was excited to finally get it!

I open it up… it’s a woman’s pink dress!
How can you screw up an order that badly?!

So the return saga begins.

And let me note, trying to return something with these people is like trying to get blood out of a stone.

A week of emails after emails and photos after photos I eventually get an email with a return barcode on it.

I take the return to my post office (there’s not a lot of them in the Netherlands) only for the gentleman to inform me to code has already been used so he can’t print a return sticker!
(Note: they don’t include a return sticker claiming “paper wastage” so read “if you want to return it, you can do all the leg work)

And if you look at their returns policy page, it says “we don’t have telephones” most likely because they would be ringing off the hook with complaints 24/7!

Zero out of Ten stars.

Trust me, shop ANYWHERE but with these fools.

I have ordered items paid for and…

I have ordered items paid for and delivered the sizes are too big so I went to return only to see I have no email confirmation and nothing for this order on my previous orders on my account I have now ordered more items yet again I have no confirmation email and nothing in my orders to track do I don’t even know if I need to reorder I try to contact customer service and I’m being asked for the order number when I have no confirmation email extremely frustrating

Won't be ordering again

Every single time I make the decision to order thinking it might be better, I'm sorely disappointed. Sizing all off constantly. Every single trousers I've ordered over the years are see through and too long. Even the petite range. I'm 5 ft 2 so that should not be the case. To think in this day and age boohoo thinks sending this quality of cr*p to people is acceptable is beyond me. Last time I order, its been years of the same boohoo so you're just ignoring your terrible quality production at this point.

Awful

Awful! To send back an item from Latvia, you have to pay at least 35€. That's half the price of the three things I ordered at a discount. The quality of the goods is not the best. But at this price, it is not surprising. The size chart is not clear. The cardigan is short (not as pictured). The jacket is long. The trousers were sent the wrong size... not recommended to buy.

Returns Policy not real

You can pay via PayPal, but you can't activate a return label without a credit card
Decided to try Boohoo for the first time because I could pay via PayPal and of course, obtain buyer protection.

I also read their online Returns Policy, item 5, before purchasing and decided to proceed because I could pay for my own returns postage at Australia Post.

Only I can't. The only way I can get a return/refund activated is to pay Boohoo $15 via a credit card (despite the numerous payment methods they advertise on their website).

And despite me asking two different customer service staff to help me obtain a returns label so I could pay for it at Australia Post, they asked me to provide debit card details instead. Then when I said neither were possible, they asked me to provide someone else's credit card details to enable the activation of my parcel being returned. Wait, what?

Firstly Boohoo, its an easy fix just include the other payment methods you advertise that you provide. Imagine all the hours this would save your staff having to insist people pay via credit card and asking for your customers to use other people's credit card details. And how much better off your reputation would be because of it.

Secondly, just provide a mechanism for your customers to download the Australia Post returns label, as stated in item 5 of your Returns Policy. And also enable your staff to activate this for your customers.

Lastly, and most importantly, if you can't enable customers or staff to download the label, remove the Australia Post payment reference in item 5 from your published Returns Policy. This would be a great way to improve your online trust and credibility and stop misleading your customers. If you're trading in Australia you should already know it is actually illegal here for a business to engage in conduct that misleads or deceives or is likely to mislead or deceive consumers.

I am reporting Boohoo to CCPI - CONSUMER TRADING STANDARDS IN IRELAND. This company is disgraceful and must be held accountable on how they falsely advertise and how they treat their customers. Absolutely disgraceful.
