Limited exposure. Received three valuations to consider but not tested against market. Of the three, two arrived within the one hour timescale, the third the following day and this valuation was about £50K below the average of the other two (£335 to £325K). Undecided but keeping an open mind,

SmartVal was created to give you a more accurate assessment of valuation when compared to a digital valuation which is based purely on an algorithm and is often very inaccurate. We obtain more information than any digital valuation and we provide a lot of additional market data to the agent. You will recall that you choose the agent and therefore it is your decision who provides the valuation and who will contact you. The local knowledge of the agent and what is happening in the local market is often crucial to what price can be achieved for a property. SmartVal gives you access to that local expertise. Once you have had a SmartVal you can easily book the agent to come out to your property whereupon they will give you a more detailed on-site assessment.

The three valuations agreed closely
The three valuations agreed closely, especially at the minimum value of the property. Obviously without a personal visit, they are best guesses, but I was very impressed with the speed of reply, and the support offered. I never realised that such services were available online and I'd like to thank the agents involved.

Don't bother . They book non existant valuations with Estate agents that have severed ties with Booming .
Waisted my time lost a morning work . Booming tried to blame estate agent . Rude response email . AVOID!

Great concept and original way of doing…
Great concept and original way of doing it. Quick responses and consistent. My only concern is that I do not think the agents looked to closely at the individual extra info you put in free text box. Would be better to have more set questions about property rather than free text type box.

I was pleased with how the site worked easy to navigate and quick responses, the only thing I would say is that the valuations tend to be a little bit on the high side. Maybe estate agents are trying to appeal to you.
