Boundary Technologies are reinventing smart home security in the UK. Home security is becoming more interconnected, convenient and cheaper. It’s harnessing the power of smartphones to allow you to remotely monitor and control your smart system, from anywhere in the world. People want an easy ordering process, from transparent pricing to customising the alarm to fit the home. Setup should be straightforward - whether you’re doing it yourself or using a professional installer - and the system should do what it promises. These are all things that are expected in a Smart Home Security product but are hard to find. This is why we have created Boundary.

You can use the sensors with a different alarm.

I purchased the RING alarm (7 pieces), just wanted to be sure that if it doesn't work I have at least a few sensors that can help me. But I managed to add all the sensors to the RING base.

Boundary Alarm (Boundary Tech) in Liquidation
We have had no reply, letters, emails from Boundary since Dec 22, our alarm system is completely useless.
We have found the liquidators details and have made contact directly. Johnston Carmichael in Edinburgh
Good luck people, doubt there is much anyone can do, but feel a little ripped off!

This is such a nightmare, NO TRANSPARENCY
This is such a nightmare, I bought this alarm system as i thought it was state of the art based on what i learnt about it. To think of the past few years its not been great and has been cutting out and has been plagued with problems. Now learning the company has been liquidated. How do we get our money back, can anyone help?
Waste of money now company in administration
Such a shame this company went into Administration with no warning - although I have worked for a company that had the same issue and you know months in advance. Now have a useless alarm system that the app is no good and errors meaning can’t even arm the system from keypad so needs to be replaced. Total waste of money.

Purchased my system in November 2022 and now gone into liquidation. Absolute scammers still selling their systems when they knew they would be going into liquidation!
Very disappointed with Boundary Ltd
Very disappointed with Boundary Ltd, no warning of going it liquidation. App now constantly showing partial armed and will not unset so now useless. Alarm will still set but now don't trust it as I don't know how long it will last.
LIQUIDATION? THANKS FOR THE NOTICE!
Thanks for telling everyone you went into administration.
I hope you treated your employees better than you did the customers.
If your fiscal dealings were good, then you should of warned everyone. A £600 system is now totally pointless, thanks for eroding trust in SME's.
No notice of liquidation??
No notice of liquidation??
I was changing the batteries in my outdoor siren today and was trying to access the help desk to get instructions on how to do this and was getting an error message pop up. It was only as I tried searching the web for instructions I found out they had gone in to liquidation. Why would they not send an email to their clients letting us know? Frustrating as will have to spend more money to replace my alarm system

Company in liquidation left existing customers out of pocket and without a functioning product
Bought a whole system in June and was so excited to install the alarm into our new home. The smart app promising so many features. Well a fault this month has led me to the website where I find out the company has gone into liquidation! No previous notification of this and now no further tech support is being offered. Myself and husband thought this would be ok we could continue using the alarm. Wrong. The fault now means my log in is not recognised and there is now no way to fix this. Our alarm was trigged in the middle of the night due to the system disconnecting from one another causing the siren to go off and the app and Hub not showing any triggers and again no tech support cannot fix it. This means just 7 months after buying the alarm system we will now be replacing it. We have no faith in the company and sadly this has put us off looking at any other smaller companies when we are looking to replace it chasing us and I’m sure many others into the bigger and more expensive brands . Do yourself a favour and don’t waste your money on someone else’s pipe dream
Gone into liquidation
Gone into liquidation. I’m trying to get a refund currently. I don’t care if it’s an LTD company and they have gone. They still have 3 directors so I’m personally gathering information on them to get a refund. To them £500 might not be a-lot, but to me it is

AVOID AT ALL COST, go for Verisure or Simply Safe
We bought this alarm system back in 2020 before it was launched with so many great promises including professional installation and police response but after almost 3 years they are unable to offer professional installation which is required for police response plan and they devices continue to malfunction all the time. There is also no support available through phone so you have to try and fix the issue with them over emails and tickets that sometimes take days to respond to, so you are sitting there with a reseted Hub as instructed waiting for the next step to come through email at some point. We have never managed to use the system at all within the 3 years we tried, just wasted money on plans and batteries. I regret not listening to Verisure and Simply Safe not to trust these guys.
The alarm is basically very reliable.
The alarm is basically very reliable. However there are
still a few annoying bugs in the system.
Having said that, the online support is excellent with quick response time and nearly always a fix to any issue I may have with the alarm system.
I installed the alarm system myself some 16months ago and thus far, very satisfied with the system. I do wonder if I will be able to scale a ladder when it comes to changing the batteries in the external siren box as I am not getting any younger.
I recommend 100%
I have had this alarm system for over a year. I am happy to use this alarm. The advantage is that you don't have to pull any cables. Everything is connected wirelessly. There were problems with the sensors from the control panel, but always literally always the problem was solved positively. The alarm still works today. If I had the opportunity to change to another, I would not do it, because I think it is the best. I see only advantages from using this alarm system. Notifications response time to detected motion, I am quickly notified of motion using Activity Alerts. The only thing I would add is the ability to select the operation of the diode on the siren to work when the alarm is fully armed or partially armed, and I would also extend the operation of this diode from 8h to 24h with the same information as it is now, that the battery consumption will increase . I think that's all. I like gadgets, electronics, I like things like that. Coming back to this alarm system, I 100% recommend this system to everyone. And most of all, the Team is sensational. Once again, I recommend it 100%.
