Easy to install system and first class support
Easy to install system. Does take a few weeks to fully personalise and get comfortable with all the features but support team is first class. I would highly recommend.
A great all in one system
I’ve had my eye on the system for a while and have heavily compared it with other market leading systems like Simplisafe, Ring etc. The services provided with the alarm system were perfect for what I needed, the ability (when active) to bolt on the police assistance as and when you need it are perfect for holiday months, smart home integration is really useful, the app is clear and well thought through, the set up process was smooth and the customer relation team have been very helpful.
We’ve opted for a motion sensor system only and it made me realise that all the other sensors are not really needed. It might be a specific scenario but I realised I don’t need a door sensor or a glass break sensor when you’ve got motion detection. All in all a great piece of kit and well designed.

Really easy to use and even simpler to install
Unreliable
I bought my Boundary Alarm in February 2022, it is now October 2022 and I have just removed my Boundary Alarm from my house.
Boundary is a self install system, you can pay for professional installation however that is not required. All of the sensors run off batteries, which Boundary estimate will need changing every 18 to 24 months. My experience was the batteries would need replacing every 6 to 8 weeks.
The sensors constantly drop connection with the Hub, need to be taken down, reset and paired. This extremely tedious and frustrating as you would expect your security system to be reliable.
I contacted Boundary support on a couple of occasions, who stated that the sensors were working correctly from their data.
The most recent software update knocked out the central hub requiring me to unmounted it and perform a hard reset. When the Hub came back online, none of the sensors were reporting to it. Boundary support suggested I reset and pair every single sensor again. Bear in mind, all of these sensors are mounted at least 6 feet to 25 feet from the ground and are screwed in position.
I have lost count of the number of times I've had to reset this system, I would estimate that it is in double digits. For a security system this is just not reliable.
I love the concept, but for the money there are better, more reliable systems on the market. I spend most of my time being concerned that my alarm won't work when required rather than having peace of mind that my home is secure.

My dealings with Boundary support…
My dealings with Boundary support although rare has always been exemplary.
Any queries are dealt with in a timely manner, it is always nice to have a person at the other end to help.
I am on the smart plan and find the Activity Alerts and Partial Arm particularly useful for when in the Garden.
My particular problem was when the Hub became unresponsive after a firmware update. A simple reset of the hub as instructed by support sorted the problem.
Before I purchased Boundary Alarm I did research other smart alarms, I chose Boundary for its ease of use, value for money and its modern looking appearance.

You can flex your plans as you like and if there is ever an issue their customer service is always there to help solve your issue. Fantastic keep up the great work.

A great startup delivering a good service. We’ve had some hiccups with our alarm since installed but nothing insurmountable and the team are quick to respond to emails and personally work through any issues. Great to have some competition with the “big boys” and look forward to integration with Apple HomeKit in due course.

Alarm DIY Install and additional sensors
Excellent product, App interface simplistic and easy to navigate. Install was DIY, but don't be put off, pairing sensors, placing and testing was a breeze. Adding users and managing is easy too. Has some brilliant features, and to back it up the support I received with a poor signal issue was remedied quickly by the provision of an extender. Would I recommend this product?? Yes 100%, and with well-priced monitoring packages, it is one you should consider. No wires, no fuss, just functional and well thought out. 5 Stars.

The most important part of any purchase...
Most of the time we buy things and don't have any problems. It is usually after a purchase though when things go wrong that you need the after sales and customer support. This is usually when I have felt let down.
I have to say that whilst I have had issues with the installation of my alarm (mostly with the installation company in terms of delays) including some devices which wouldn't pair or got stuck in the system, the service received from the team is truly second to none.
Issues will always occur from time to time, especially with new products and technology but more important to me is the service and support you get to resolve those issues and that I can not fault.
Top class support from everyone on the customer experience team.

I am a new customer to Boundary and found the ordering and bundle choices perfect. All arrived swiftly and packaging very helpful.
I had an issue with my setup and after some backwards and forwards with the help desk, it was resolved.
I would recommend this product.

System not in working order
Purchased this system couple of weeks ago so was looking forward to install this over the weekend.
After installing the system found out that after a while the motion sensor stopped indicating that there was movement. So i though at first that this was maybe an attempt to preserve battery life. So i armed the system to test it and nothing! There is no indication in the app that the motion sensor is not function properly instead i see that the sensor is connected as normal! Not sure if i can trust this system to be reliable.
Hardware is of poor quality with their hub relaying on a tampered switch in the back with a tiny plastic on the mounting plate. This tiny plastic is located right next to one of the mounting holes to if you get the screw either a little bit tight or too loose it will keep giving false alarms. Not sure why this cant be located somewhere else so that in can be more reliable.
Not sure i can trust this system anymore, i have no indication on whats its doing if everything functions as it should etc
Raised with their support which i have to say its only through email so i will update when i hear back.

I agreed to upgrade to police response…
I agreed to upgrade to police response and reasonably happy to having it done .
However I’ve a real complaint, when system the initial one installed, the fitter made a shambles in installation of hub .
I tried to fill in space behind but not done properly.
Hub very difficult to connect to system, perhaps needs renewed and the wall plastered properly.
Sub contractor are not good as I know from my experiences with them

After my garage was recently broken into by someone driving a car through the door I knew I needed an alarm system. I wanted to protect the house as well as the garage so after checking the Internet I found Boundary Alarms. I had many questions before purchasing and all of the answers came back very quickly.
I installed the alarm myself which was very easy and straightforward.
One of the stand out points for me was that we could have a full alarm set with all sensors activated including the motion sensors and the dog does not set it off when he wanders around the house. The system does have a pet safe option which I enabled. Another positive is the ability to create multiple part alarms that I use to protect the garage when we are home and then the front and back door at night.
Fantastic alarm, very flexible and I highly recommend Boundary alarm systems as a company.

Reliable product with 1st class after sales service.
I have had a Boundary alarm system for the last year and found it to be reliable and very user friendly.
In the last week I have had cause to contact the Boundary help centre over a minor issue. I found their help centre to be quick in their response with useful and accurate assistance with an obvious desire to ensure that I was satisfied.
