Wonderful Service…

My wife and I visited the Pavers department at Boundary Mill, Walsall today, and were very pleased by the very helpful service provided by Amanda. She went well beyond the call of duty and could not help us enough. There were not any size 2 shoes to my wife's liking, but Amanda found two styles my wife liked and has ordered them into store for us. She also went to the store room and brought a different pair which my wife purchased. Many thanks, Amanda.

Rotherham carpet department

Visited the Rotherham branch carpet department and was seen to with an arrogant young man who, when I tried to explain what I was wanting he just kept saying ............. and ? I would try to explain in more detail and again got ........ and. In the end I just walked away.
This young man certainly has a lot to learn about respect to customers!!! We pay him his wages. Glad he’s not my son/grandson.

It's fine giving free cakes and mince…

It's fine giving free cakes and mince pies to encourage customer's.
However the practice of putting them on napkin's is a sure route to infections. 90% of people then put the mince pies directly onto the table which may not have been sanitized. Pick them from the table holding the base bingo you get a free infection with your free cake.
Please have some modicum of sense give people them on tea plates just in case you didn't realise it's the hygienic way to serve them not the free infection with every cake way.

Rude and arrogant staff menber

After buying a pair of Pavers boots the other day, when I got home and walked around the house with then they felt to big. When I went back to store to exchange them the assistant on Pavers was rude and said she would need to inspect them in the office first. I said that was fine. on her return she aqused me of having worn them and refused to exchange them.I told her I had worn them around the house, she was rude, arrogant and and totally unprofessional. I was made to look a liar and will never go in store ever again.

Bought a jacket in their 2023 sales…

Bought a jacket in their 2023 sales…. Have worn it no more than ten to fifteen times in the last year…. The fake leather trim on cuffs and front zipper is falling apart…. Noticed they had the same jacket in this years sale, so approached the sales assistant as I wanted to discuss the poor quality of my jacket.

He agreed it’s not a standard commensurate with the price level of this jacket £250 rrp. However, simply not interested in entertaining a refund or exchange without a receipt…. I get that, so offered to show payment transaction on my bank statement…. Nah! That won’t do. No other outlets in Grantham stock that brand of jacket so they know full well where it was purchased.

Don’t expect such a poor quality item being passed off with a premium price tag……

Won’t be shopping there again…. High prices low quality, lower customer service.

Having purchased a pair of curtains…

Having purchased a pair of curtains which stated on packaging non returnable, I was shocked that on opening them, they had holes in them. I rang to ask if I could return them as they were not fit for purpose and was assured I could with the receipt. After driving back I was told by customer services and a brand assistant that I could not return them as I should have known they were faulty because it said non returnable. I pointed out that I am not psychic, there was nothing on packaging to indicate they were imperfect and nothing highlighted or signposted in the Colne store. Also what would be the point of selling or buying curtains with holes in. Eventually got a refund but should not have had to argue the point. I have shopped many times here but was shocked that they thought it was ok to take money for faulty goods without stating they were imperfect.

Extensive range of goods and excellent customer service!

Following on from a recent visit to the Boundary Mill store in Walsall I must say that we were very impressed with the layout and product selections throughout the store. A huge improvement from our last visit.

I would like to mention in particular Pavers shoe concession where we received the most excellent customer service from Sarah and Maria, nothing was too much trouble and Sarah went above and beyond to help us choose products. We were blown away by the extensive range of boots and ended up buying 5 pairs.

Thank you girls for helping us with our purchases, we will definitely be visiting you again soon as customer service is very rare these days!

Bannisters restaurant not worth the wait

The mill is great, lots of clothes, gifts, handbags etc all under one roof. Great for accessibility and very clean.
What lets it down is Bannisters restaurant. Long queues, lack of staff and long waiting times before anyone takes your order. We left before our desserts and coffee arrived (we ordered them with our main meal order) we had been waiting 30 minutes from finishing our main meal and not one member of staff removed our empty plates or asked us if we were ready for our coffees. Limited menu choices too.

Customers Beware

Disgusting how long to wait for a refund, which makes me wonder, have they got cash flow probs? Have contacted the store and head office and have been told 3 working days 7,10 and latest 14. For refund well it’s 12 and counting. So customer beware not in a hurry to refund you. 2 more days Boundary.

Bring back the Free hot drinks for a Member and guest, we used to really enjoy shopping at the Colne store and have tea and a rather nice toasted teacake. This offer seems to be no more and it's a shame as the experience isn't the same anymore. We very rarely visit now.!

Decline of a once decent store.

Decline of a once decent store.

Having read staff reviews (indeed) some light has been shed about the poor customer service in store and in the cafe. They are not a happy lot and don’t like working at BM and it shows.
I used to enjoy shopping at Colne branch and drove from Manchester to get there. - No more, the decent brands are no longer available and much of the clothing and the shoes are frumpy and poor quality, this probably explains why there are fewer shoppers there.
Many of the prices are actually higher than high street/ online.
Lastly, whoever thought up the motto
“Save is not a swear word”? It simply doesn’t make sense!

Shopping experience just not Boundary mill store Colne.

Very misleading information on prices and sales. Some sale racks check before you buy the items are faulty and there's no tickets on saying so. Holes in some items mis matched sleeves one had been sewn inside out on a jager jumper. Staff not helpful at all because they're all chatting to one and other and don't seem bothered with customers. Coffee is terrible in the cafe on the second floor it's like a canteen style queuing for sandwiches and other tempting cake treats that's overpriced in my opinion. Then finally get to the end of the queue only to find staff chewing wasps. My overhaul experience was not the best but my friend who insisted we go to find her the perfect mother of the groom outfit alas to say she never found it there. I personally would not recommend it I'm sure smaller outlets will give far better customer services and better quality than The boundary mill store in Colne .

Wasted Journey, misleading advertising.

Went along to Boundary Outlet at Walsall, armed with voucher offering "cake for £1",disappointed to find that half of the store, including the cafe, was closed and in darkness. Only ladies and gents clothing on sale. Unable to even browse the cookware featured in the leaflet recently posted through our door. Completely wasted journey.
