Scammers

This auction house was associated with rightmove and has little or no communication with buyers to take deposits then inflate their fees and try and scam you into paying they know what they are doing and the staff must be part of this scam beware legal action is the only option

These guys are thieves!!

These guys are thieves! The sellers company and the auction house have at least one member of the board of directors in common and Gls solicitors are involved in the scam. How are they allowed to keep doing this? The police don’t seem to be much help either. I would be really interested in a joint legal action with others who have been cheated by these fraudsters if this is a possibility.

Absolute scammers

Absolute scam and it is not just these both the property sellers and gls solicitors is all in on it.
Pressure you into putting deposit down which then acts as your signed contract and then give you the extortionate legal pack where they rob you out of twice what you have paid.
Solicitors have no contact with buyers solicitor until the last few days where they are basically threatening you to pay and close the deal or they will take action
If any one takes legal action feel free to contact me

Following my previous review and other…

Following my previous review and other recorded incident for the records, I completed on a purchase on the 6th November 2024 with BP Auctions and I was sent by recorded delivery the wrong keys to the property and despite my email & calls to BP Auctions. They never respond or answer my call. During my attempt to change the locks on the property, they police were called by the neighbours for a break-in and trust me, the authorities are aware of this company and my advise to anyone affected is to please gather as much evidence and recording as possible, because sometime is on the pipeline .....

Avoid BP Auction

I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from falling into this trap. I am shocked that PBAuction is still operating—they should face legal consequences for fraud!

They charged me a deposit, claiming only the auction fee was non-refundable. However, when I discovered hidden costs in the contract (not disclosed beforehand), I decided to withdraw. At this point, they refused to refund my deposit, citing terms in the contract. The problem? They only sent the contract after I paid the deposit.

The legal pack didn’t disclose these figures or terms either. Unfortunately, I didn’t download it at the time, and now their website isn’t working, all their listings on Rightmove have been removed, and there’s no way to access the legal pack.

I hope this serves as a warning to others. Avoid them at all costs!

Fraud

Fraud ! Fraud !! Fraud !!!

Won an auction and was prompted to pay the deposit and administration charge which all added up to £12,450. I made this payment and engaged a solicitor for the conveyance of the property. In the process of the conveyance, the solicitor found out the same property was recently sold to someone else. I was advised by the solicitor to withdraw immediately as they were suspicious and the terms on their legal pack were typical of scammers. I have been run out of business by these rogues. May they never find peace

Scam, fraud company

My friend won a bid through this auction house. Before bidding the legal pack includes 10% of hammer price and £6,995 in addition to the auction price. However, after paying deposit, they increased to 75% and £9,995 that costs huge money. My friend is devastated as he already paid £9,400 to them. This is a fraud auction company. I want to liaison with others who faced similar problems. Seeking legal action to them.

BP AUCTION ARE SCAMMERS

My experience with BP Auction was incredibly frustrating, especially in terms of their lack of transparency and high-pressure tactics. I was pressured into putting down a deposit to "secure" a property that I hadn’t even had the chance to view or examine the legal pack for. This approach felt extremely unethical and rushed, leaving me feeling trapped and uneasy from the start.

When I asked for more information on the property, including the legal pack, I was given minimal details and encouraged to "act quickly" to avoid losing the opportunity. Despite repeated requests, I wasn’t provided with enough background on the property or even allowed the time to properly assess what I was investing in. The whole process felt manipulative, as if they were more focused on pushing deposits than offering a legitimate, buyer-friendly experience.

After the deposit was down, communication from BP Auction became even more difficult, with delayed or generic responses that didn’t address my concerns. For anyone considering BP Auction, I would caution you to be very careful and not fall for their high-pressure tactics. There are far better, more transparent auction houses out there where buyers' rights and questions are respected.

Fraud, Scam, Thieves...

On October 16th I bought a house (in Mill Cawley Road - Uxbridge) on ''BP Auctions'' and they stole my money... in 10 days I will start a legal action against them. I have noticed that other people have been scammed in the same way and I'd be happy to organise a meeting to work on getting our money back, and stop this from happening to other people.
I am shocked that the house was published on Rightmove considering it is such a big website which should be safe and monitored for such things.

Careful!!

Unfortunately today I was another victim of this auction house, I ask for the love of God or whatever your religion is that you do not approach this company, they just want to steal your money, I lost all my savings. A very sophisticated scheme with many people involved, terms below terms, their lawyer is never clear in his emails and delays the process just to gain time so you lose your deposit, they put fake photos, but before I tried to buy they called me several times to induce me to buy the house, everyone who was robbed by this company should get together for a meeting, because this type of sophisticated robbery has to stop and many families are being affected and losing all their money and being left in poverty. BBC Rip off Britain S15 and 33 was about them on the BBC, BE VERY CAREFUL PLEASE
Update: I'd like to add to my previous review that I requested a legal pack, which was ignored despite multiple follow-up calls. My solicitor also requested it without success. I was assured it would be sent, but I never received it. They also removed the listing from the website, preventing me from downloading any documents (likely I have the originals, which will be used in court to defend myself). This removal, which my solicitor noted is not best practice (as other auctions retain old sales online), appears to have been done because the documents on the website differed from those sent to my solicitor. Additionally, fees were adjusted to inflate the total sale price, which my solicitor also flagged as concerning.

I’ve since received an email from BP Auction threatening legal action and contacting my solicitor without my consent. BP Auction, as you read this, you do not have my authority to contact my solicitor further. I stand by my review and am prepared to defend it in court, if necessary. I post pictures here so others will not fall for this trap!

BP Auction is a bunch of fraud

BP Auction is a bunch of fraud. They steal people's money by blackmailing them.
They are scam, don't bid. They put dogy properties on their website for fraudulent purposes.
Be aware of these thieves.

Avoid Avoid Avoid

Avoid BPAuctions at all costs. My experience with them has been disastrous due to their misleading practices, hidden fees, and unprofessional conduct. Properties advertised as tenanted were vacant, yet BPAuctions insisted otherwise despite clear evidence. After purchase, I was blindsided by unexpected charges, including fabricated rent arrears that were never disclosed prior to the auction. Their customer service is dismissive and evasive, often ignoring concerns and refusing to provide clear answers. BPAuctions also appears to have questionable connections with related companies involved in property sales, raising serious ethical concerns. Numerous complaints and negative reviews from other buyers confirm a pattern of dishonesty and manipulation. BPAuctions operates without transparency or accountability, exploiting buyers with impunity. Do not trust them—they do not adhere to any standards of fairness or integrity.
