I’m relatively new to cubing and certainly not a voice of experience when it comes to trying all the many cubes out there and what makes them good etc. but this cube was recommended to me by Joe (from the Britcubes site) after I emailed asking about magnetic 3x3s. I had been looking at the more expensive ones like the Weilong WR, the GAN 356X, and the Qiyi Valk M but my current cubes are a Rubik’s brand speedcube and a QiYi Warrior. My only experience of magnetic prior were a YJ Moyu which feels nice but I’m not used to the dexterity required for a pyraminx yet. Anyway, Joe recommended the YJ Yulong V2 M as it is only £6 and I am still essentially a beginner cuber (I solve using beginner method/LbL in about 1.5mins) but am slowly learning the OLLs and PLLs. I must say I really like it - smooth, fast for me but still got nice control. I can’t really comment on corner cutting/lubing etc as I’ve not got that expertise yet but it feels solid, smooth and fast. I’ve dropped it a few times also and no cracks or pops. Will probs get another one in stickerless so I’ve got spares around the house to practice with! Great recommendation Joe - thank you!

Despite a minor issue with stock, Joe managed our expectations and then exceeded them. Delivering the first cube early and the next exactly when he said.

This boy keeps deleting my wifes reviews. So here is another one! She purchased a cube for our son which never arrived. Since then we have been in contact and promised another cube (of which STILL has not arrived).
I would steer clear of this company and purchase from ebay or amazon ONLY!

I am still trying to rectify this with yourselves. I have not had a response to my previous email, so I have sent a follow-up. This order has been fully refunded, and I have not been deleting the reviews. There are three reviews for the same experience, so I'm going through them with Trustpilot so only one of them remains up. I have been unable to send a replacement, as I specifically asked for information on what cube your son wanted, but have not been told what to send. The order has been refunded, I've sent an apology letter, I've apologised by email, and I am still in email contact trying to rectify this. Please let me know what else I can do to get this sorted as I'm really not sure.

Been a while since I updated this! Once again, I would like to apologise for your parcel not arriving - we use Royal Mail for our parcels with a high success rate, but sometimes they don’t arrive which can be extremely frustrating. I’ve sent out a couple of replacements, as well as a Gan Megaminx upgrade, so hopefully that goes some way to rectify things! Royal Mail 1st Class is now tracked - so hopefully parcels in future will be even more likely to arrive and this issue doesn’t arrive again. Great new UK based cubing store and my new go to.
The first purchase I made from Britcubes came super quick and nicely packaged. Joe also wrote me a note thanking me for being a new customer. I then made a few more orders and even requested a couple of specific puzzles, all of which were at great prices and packaged with extreme care. Joe was really helpful with getting the requested puzzles, and when one turned up stickerless, instead of stickered, he offered to replace it, should I mind about it. Have recommended Britcubes to a few people I know.
