Never fear! Britline is here!

You know that sinking feeling you get when you know you have to ring the bank to discuss a problem? With Britline, you NEVER get that. It's always easy to get through and their advisors are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and theor advice is clear, concise and easy to understand. Clym in particular was brilliant, patient and we even had a little laugh together. He's a credit to the bank.

With Britline living and settling in France has been made considerably easier

My wife and I have been with Britline for over twenty years.
In all that time the service provided by them has been exceptional. There are simply not enough superlatives to describe it.
They provide a wide range of services from just having a simple bank account to other areas such as savings, insurance cover, currency transfer to general advice.
But it is not all about the services provided.
For us however, we save our highest praise for people who work there.
The Britline team - If you have a need to telephone them you will be guaranteed a warm, friendly and professional reception. They are generous with their time you don’t feel as though you are being rushed. There is always time for a friendly chat. It is for us like phoning family.
With Britline living and settling in France has been made considerably easier.

Marvellous helpline

Things might not always be straightforward using Ma Banque but my goodness the service on the helpline is second to none. Today we wanted to transfer some funds back the uk it wasn’t going well, so we picked up the phone and got to speak to Clym. Clym was professional, patient, calm, kind and helpful. He explained what needed to be done every step of the way. He made the whole process quite enjoyable! We then had cause to call back and as fortune would have it spoke to Clym again who immediately resolved our problem. I cannot praise Clym highly enough.

What an excellent experience

What an excellent experience! We were guided along quite easily with Mr. Metcalfe.

He took his time to explain each step, he was incredibly kind and helpful. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured to make a decision. I feel very assured and confident that this was a wise decision to use Britline.

Service sans pareil

All the staff at Britline give excellent customer service, but Clym is without equal: he was extremely patient, reassuring, friendly and encouraging. I am not confident with technology, but Clym took his time to guide me through everything and I cannot praise him highly enough. I would give him 6 stars if I could!

Since my first contact with humans at…

Since my first contact with humans at Britline, the whole process has been a breeze and the customer service has been excellent. Most recently Clym helped increase our transfer limit and talked us through the process as well as being efficient and polite.

Previously Kathrine (Katie) was amazing and others have been so helpfu as well l. I'm so glad I chose to use Britline.

Exceptional and Personalised customer service


Since the opening of our account with Britline we have received exceptional and professional customer service.
Recently had an issue with with my mobile banking app and I cannot thank Catriona Bainton Smith our branch accounts manager enough. Catriona phoned me back promptly, explained the problem and in no time at all had it sorted. A big thank you once again for your great service. I just can’t recommend this bank highly enough.

Super helpful Sophie

Sophie was a star when it came to helping me set up a direct debit and pay a tax bill. She was so helpful and took me through the process step by step. Her email communications were clear and all in all, she made what seemed like a gnarly issue feel smooth and easy. 100% recommend Britline and particularly Sophie Dumbleton :)

Excellent Customer Service

The knowledge, speed, professionalism and friendliness displayed during the conversation I had today was second to none. I achieved everything I needed too, swiftly and with such a helpful member of staff. All too often we post about poor experiences and I just had to share feedback on my interaction with Clym today.

Having lost my debit card

Having lost my debit card, I was relieved and very pleased when Angelique Wirth dealt with it in such a prompt and straightforward way.
My concerns went away on finding that no unauthorised transactions had been made and that the card would be blocked immediately.

The Perfect Bank to switch to !

After the debacle of banking with Millies CA Brtiline are superb. I opened my account this week with ease and fabulous communication. Have also switched home insurance . Thanks to Ciaran and Alexander for your support and communications.

A Super Helpful French Bank for English Speakers

We have had a house in France for 17 years and have banked with Britline for the entire period. The online banking facilities are perfectly adequate but the real value is that they are always super helpful when you need assistance with anything. I am not fluent in French and certainly not able to navigate all of the French rules and regulations, so it has been fabulous to be able to ring them and speak to a representative in English. I have no hesitation in recommending Britline to anyone needing a French banking services.

On *every single* occasion i have called...

We’ve been with Britline for several years - since before the self-harming folly of brexit.
On *every single* occasion i have called, they have helpfully - and with a nice friendly approach - sorted out my query.
I've just spoken with Diana, who again, has sorted my issue and I feel much more relaxed about knowing how to handle our finances.
I absolutely, 100% recommended them - not just for english people either.
We are now also looking at getting insurance quotes from Britline as we have just been badly let down by Allianz - who my family have used for 30+ years (and never claimed)…

We have dealt with Britline for a few years now and can do nothing but praise them, they phone you when they say they will and are extremely helpful with any queries. We have always dealt with David Metcalfe at Normandy, he is so helpful, polite and takes genuine concerns at any issues you may have.

Great Service

The person I spoke to was rapid, polite and knowledgeable. He helped sort out my convoluted query with significant skill.
Credit Agricole Britline are scrupulous about security, Unlike other banks the messages are very clear on what they will ask. And they have sufficient staff so the wait times are short.
