Absolute bunch of liars

Absolute bunch of liars. Never ever connected WiFi up. Press one if working 2 if not, press 2, nothing. Can’t get through on phone hold for 20 minutes and they cut you off. Lie that someone’s sorted the problem, lie that someone’s visited and taught how WiFi works. Threaten and try to charge for nothing. Don’t go near BT.

not secure, massivley slow & keep cutting off is BTwi-fi quality

My existing wifi stopped working while I was updating my iPhone's iOS so, I thought why not pay for a day use of BTwi-fi. At £7.99 seemed reasonable, however only after I realised how bad it really is:
- It did not connect first suggesting: look for the nearest wifi hotspot!
- the connection is not secure
- the connection keeps cutting off nonstop
-the connection speed is between 4 to 13 Mbps, my usual wifi -thank God is working now- is minimum 144Mbps
It transpires that all BTwifi is interested in is taking money from the customers and their signal and service are just about powerful enough to do the sale and no more

Shocking Product

Shocking. The bt wifi hotspots just simply don’t work. They constantly disconnect. Or connect with ‘no internet’ if only BT weren’t the monopoly (before anyone says otherwise most providers use BT) they over charge, never hit the speeds promised and when you complain magically the speeds are what they should be even when you checked just before calling (I wonder why)

Really spotty connection

It isn't fast, and I wasn't expecting it to be, however it's also very prone to dropping you off the network at the drop of a hat.

Since you need to log into the service to get access again you kind of have to convince it to throw you into the login page by disconnecting and connecting a few times or forgetting the network then adding it a gain. It's a major pain in the you know what. If you need unlimited wifi somewhere and are in a bind it's a good solution, but otherwise don't waste your money.

don't throw away your money

don't throw away your money. made the mistake to buy a 5 day package for 20 pounds. Buy a prepaid sim card and buy a data bundle instead. that works and is cheaper. the BT service doesn't work and you get kicked out every minute, while waiting for any website to load. it took me 30 minutes to write this review thanks to BT. Bought data package for 15 pounds which gives me 15GB fast internet.

Rubbish service

£20 for 5 days! I was desperate as moving house and without Internet or tv. You have to sign in every couple of minutes. Does not allow devices to remember your login. what a rip off. Signal is also unreliable. :( I had been a BT customer for many years but this experience made me switch to a new provider at my new home. Look for an alternative

Paid £40 and despite it shows full signal I didn’t manage to access the internet. It only worked for few minutes then nothing. Basically it worked long enough to make the payment then stoped. A waste of money.

Just terrible

Just terrible. Had to purchase an hour for an emergency. Cuts out all the time so you spend most of the time trying to reconnect. They tell you "This gives you access for this duration starting from when you first log on." - just to be clear that doesn't mean as long as you are connected to their wifi, it means regardless of whether you are connected your hour continues to count down!
