I have had a terrible experience with this service. I paid a developer to make my app which was a great experience! But when I went to sign up I didn't realize I was paying for one app and I made a new app to have it transferred over and payed the 134! Not knowing it was per app so when it was transferred I had to pay again and delete the first app after less than 20 minutes and am know being told I can't have a refund! Terrible experience for a first time user, with no resulton provided! Would probably take my next app to a different platform, or try and get this one off asap! A simple credit would be nice

I feel compelled to share my experience with Bubble, and unfortunately, it’s been very disappointing. While the platform promises a low-code solution for building web apps quickly, my reality has been full of frustration.

I’ve repeatedly lost work due to disappearing elements and groups, and on two occasions, I lost entire projects without any clear explanation. The editor is slow, often freezes my browser, and requires constant refreshing just to function. On top of that, Bubble frequently experiences downtime, and their support tends to blame the user rather than acknowledge platform flaws.

Overall, Bubble feels unstable, immature, and poorly optimized. I regret choosing it for my project, and although switching now is complicated, it may be the only viable solution to avoid further frustration.

🚨 Warning for Anyone Considering Bubble 🚨

I want to share my complete dissatisfaction with Bubble.
After months using the platform, I’ve faced absurd situations that made me completely rethink this choice.

Constant instability: countless times, groups and elements in my app have simply disappeared out of nowhere, making me lose hours of work.

Entire projects lost: it has happened not just once, but twice that I lost my entire project, with no clear explanation.

Terrible performance: the editor is extremely slow, crashes the browser, and is clearly poorly optimized. Many times I’m forced to refresh the page just to keep working.

Lack of transparency: the platform often goes down, and whenever serious errors occur, the official response is always to blame the user. When I lost everything, the excuse was that “I must have selected the entire page and hit delete.” In other words, besides the technical problems, there is a clear lack of honesty and maturity in how issues are handled.

Today, I deeply regret choosing Bubble to build my project. Unfortunately, migrating isn’t simple at this stage, but I’m seriously considering it because living frustrated and insecure with the platform is simply not sustainable.

So here’s my warning: if you’re just starting out in the low-code world, think very carefully before choosing Bubble. On paper, it may look like an amazing solution, but in practice it can cost you dearly in time, effort, frustration, and possibly even the future of your business.

I want trying to make a Discord bot but nothing works

I don't recommend it at all

The app itself seems very cool but just as a warning for others regarding the billing - when I signed up for the free trial to play around with the tool, it wasn't at all clear to me that if I created a new project within my account, I would get billed as a fully new subscription for each separate project. This led to receiving three separate subscription charges, two of which continued despite thinking I had cancelled my account (since I had reached out to their team to cancel after playing around with it a bit during the trial). I would definitely encourage this business to provide more clarity around that particular part of the platform and/or adjust the refund policy to accommodate for this ambiguity.

Bubble.io is far behind its competitors — clunky, unintuitive, and needlessly complicated. What should have been a time-saver turned into endless frustration. To make matters worse, canceling my subscription was such a drawn-out, confusing process that it felt deliberately designed to waste my time.

Too challenging to collaborate which is why I joined

Indian cards does not work. Surprising that the coding company can't get this right !!

Things looked good at first, I spent my first couple days building an app, which took around 8 hours of my time but i was happy with the look and the functionality. Then I got an email stating "please finish your generating your app within 48 or it will be deleted" which was concerning so I emailed support and asked "Hey will my app be deleted" and They assured me NO it will not be deleted, and only an unfinished AI generated page will be deleted. And then like clockwork my app i spent 8 hours on was deleted and after 2 weeks working with support to try and restore it, they told me "We told you it would be deleted" Like you SOB, YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T!!!!, Horrible experience, support just answers with fluff doesn't address the issue.

Pants you do win but not enough to withdraw scam

Better go to youre local pub or even supermarket, here you dont only loose youre money but also youre dignity 🙈

I was going to sign up for the free trial and was asked for credit card details. No information on the landing page to costing nor that you needed a credit card to sign up. A lot of options out there that are transparent and you can try out with putting your credit card details in.

Poor transparency reg pricing. No visible info that you need growth plan to add a colloborator.

Also that growth plan theres no free trial and i had to ask ai to see there are no refunds. Seems like a wrong way to run a company.

Still awaiting communications and refund

Awful experience - free trial, wasn’t for me. Tried to cancel but this is impossible! The help pages are either out of date or intentionally designed to mislead users. The delete account journey does not work. There is only the ability to upgrade the account. There is no support team, the automated responses are terrible. Very disappointing.

Not a user friendly app in any way. Replit or Beuilder.io is much better.

Let that sink in – TEN DOLLARS FOR A "FREE" PLANS! This wasn't a mistake! it felt deliberate to me and deeply disappointing. Had the sum been larger, I would have considered legal action. This "free" offer felt like a deceptive trap, a misleading bait-and-switch designed to extract money from unsuspecting users.

Beyond the unexpected charges, Bubble has caused me an unparalleled level of emotional distress. For weeks, I lived in a constant state of agonizing doubt, questioning my entire project, my abilities, and even my own vision. I felt like a puppet, meticulously building, only for Bubble to arbitrarily shatter my progress. Their platform is a volatile, unpredictable beast that constantly breaks layouts and destroys hours of meticulous work with a single, unannounced update. The responsive design? A cruel joke, a source of endless frustration that forces you into a maddening cycle of fixing what shouldn't have been broken in the first place.

I felt TRAPPED, HUMILIATED, and utterly DEMORALIZED. The audacity of a platform that claims to "free" you from code, yet shackles you to an endless cycle of its own devastating bugs, is beyond infuriating. They didn't just take my $10; they took my peace of mind, my excitement, and the very joy I once had for my project. They profited from my hope, and left me with nothing but bitter regret and a profound sense of injustice.

DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR PROMISES. Bubble is not a partner; in my experience, it drains your ambition. Save your money, save your sanity, and save your dreams. There are countless alternatives that respect their users and their hard-earned money. This platform is a disappointment, disguised as innovation.

This review is my attempt to close this agonizing chapter. Let my tears and my pain be a warning to anyone considering this platform. Avoid Bubble. Your future project, your finances, and your mental well-being will thank you.

Worst costumer service! They billed me on the 20th because I had no money they entire month, as soon I manage to get some help from family to buy some food here comes bubble to take it away.. I ask to please cancel the transaction it was not processed yet and would active the plan again in a few days and they say go fck yourself :D

Impossible to use — even just to try. It requires a lot of effort from the user, and then nothing gets saved. On top of that, the app asks you to pay without even giving you a chance to explore its features or understand what’s possible on the platform.
