DONT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!

Sister ordered from here for her wedding. They dropped the flowers off the day before her wedding, in the winter, OUTSIDE!! I’m freezing temps! At 11:20am. We waited all day for them, finally got a hold of them at 5, and they have us a tracking number. Said they were dropped off already so we search the yard, and there they are, outside!! Frozen! We kept someone home allllllll day just so we could get them right away! So we call to complain a million times as it needs to be fixed ASAP as her wedding is in the morning the next day! They not only don’t let us speak to anyone that could help us, but they also hung up on us!!!!! Then they emailed her the day of her wedding asking for pictures of each flower. On her wedding day!???! Lol then I post a review on google and they make it seem like someone is going to help us, hahahaha they just post that there to make it seem like they are going to do something, like refund, but they just emailed and said they won’t be refunding her. This place is a Joke! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!!! They are horrible and hang up on you and make it impossible to complain to try to get a refund!!!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I placed a large order for 385 double carnation wrist corsages and 320 single carnation boutonnieres from Bunches Direct totaling $2,302.15 for a Junior Cotillion Spring Ball. When the flowers arrived on Thursday in only 2 boxes I was shocked. When I opened the boxes, the flowers were crushed because there were no containers keeping the flowers from moving around inside the boxes. The corsages and boutonnieres were simply laid side by side in multiple stacks with only a single sheet of tissue paper between each layer. Upon delivery, the flowers only filled 3/4 of the boxes because they were so crushed and squished together.

I immediately contacted Bunches Direct and spoke with Krista. She was sympathetic to my situation and asked me to take the flowers out of the boxes and take pictures and email them to Bunches Direct. I did exactly what she said. Not only were the flowers crushed, but each of the wrist corsages contained only a single carnation. I ordered the double carnation wrist corsages that are pictured on their website. Krista said she would forward the emails to the Sales Manager and Production Manager and that someone would be getting back in touch with me.

Later that day I received a voicemail from Heather in Canada saying that after looking at the pictures I had sent the flowers look fine. She went on to say if I would spray a little water on the flowers and refrigerate them that they would perk back up. She did not acknowledge the fact the wrist corsages only had one carnation on them not two as advertised (in writing and in a picture) on their website.

That evening I sent a detailed email saying that I expected full reimbursement because the product that was sent to me was NOT what I ordered and paid for, and the quality was not acceptable (crushed flowers) because the product was not packaged appropriately.

The following Monday I received an email from Bunches Direct stating that they were sorry for the issues with my order and would be issuing a refund for 1/2 of the wrist corsage order because there was only one flower not two on the wrist corsages. They said the refund would be in the amount of $1,000.

I sent another email on Wednesday stating that I was disappointed that they were not standing behind their product. I wrote that it was the right thing to do to reimburse me in full because the product was not what I ordered and the flowers were crushed because they failed to package the flowers appropriately.

On Thursday I received an email from Bunches Direct stating that "upon further review my refund was not approved. The individual that approved the refund is not longer employed with us." It stated that "Your case has been closed. We cannot assist you any further for this order."

I am appalled at the lack of customer service from this company. How does a company retract an offer for reimbursement to a customer?

I will follow up with the company to seek full reimbursement.

Absolutely disgusted at the delivery i received yesterday,it was supposed to be a beautiful potted Cyclamen ,the cardbox it arrived was far to big for the size of plant,no packaging to hold the plant in place,all the soil was at bottom of the box ,one plant was upside down in pot ,the other was just in bottom of box,all its stems and flowers broken off,the box was wide open at the top and one bottom corner of the box was broken.I wouldnot recommend that anyone uses this company at all.They are taking customers money in good faith and not supplyling decent goods.The should be banned from trading.

Do NOT buy from Bunches Direct! The groom's boutonniere and the corsages arrived damaged. Although they reimbursed me, it did not make up for the fact that I had to run around two days before my wedding to get replacements. Serenity -- NOT!

Really interesting to see how a company …

Really interesting to see how a company can defend themselves so much when it is obvious there is a problem with delivering a satisfactory product to so many customers.
My experience with this company is very similiar to the many negative reviews i have read here. I ordered 400.00 dollars worth of white roses for my daughter's wedding to be delivered 2 days before the wedding so bouquets could be made. On the day they were to arrive we had people waiting at the delivery address so the roses could be cared for exactly as the website recommended. Towards the end of the day when they had still not arrived I began to investigate as to where they were. I discovered they had been handed over to Canada post that morning and that they would not be delivered until the next day. This took a few phone calls to obtain all this information and added much stress to my already very busy schedule. The weather at the time was 35 degrees celcius so i began to realize that the flowers were very likely not going to be useable after sitting in that heat, although i tried to remain optiomistic thinking maybe the company would somehow ensure they were kept refigerated.
When the flowers arrived the next morning they were in terrible condition, brown all the way through to the middle and very wilted. By this time I had people arriving to begin the bouquets however I had no roses for them to work with. We had to send people in different directions, some driving for 4 hours that day to get me new roses from Costco, which I might add were absolutely beautiful and Costco even provided containers to transport the roses so the stems could be kept in cold water.
The customer service with bunches direct was great whenever Krista answered the phone but otherwise was terrible. During one of the many phone calls i had to make to them I could not understand the person speaking to me and when i told him this he started shouting at me. I was not trying to be rude but i really could not understand what he was saying to me. On another call I was told no-one could speak to me over the phone and when I insisted that I had called the number which was on the website to contact if the flowers did not arrive in good condition, the guy on the other end again said "no one would speak to me over the phone" and then hung-up on me. When i finally got to speak with Krista, I was reassured many times by her that the problem would be rectified. I did however have to take time out of my already very hectic wedding planning day to lay out all the roses and email a picture to the company. But then i did not worry about it until the wedding was over and the manager phoned me. At the first phone call I was told that the pictures didn't show that much damage and that they would only refund delivery cost because of the delay. Needless to say i was not happy with this and asked her to review the pictures again which she said she would do and would get back to me before the end of the day. I did not receive any phone call that day and so phoned back the next morning. At this phone call I was told they would refund half of my cost. I again said this was not acceptable as i was unable to use any of the roses they had sent and reminded them that the flowers had been sent in boxes and had sat for many hours in 35 degree weather. Again i was told they would call me back. The last call i got was from Krista who told me I would be getting a complete refund. This was finally what I was wanting to hear. However, I do think a company who is trying to promote their product would have also offered something in compensation for the hassle i had been through. Had I not been as persistent as i was I would not have received any refund. I think i would recommend people to costco before i would recommend this company.

DIAMOND WEDDING CATASTROPHE

Ordered flowers for a Diamond
Wedding gift, on arrival they were pathetic in quality & quantity and looked nothing like the picture on the Web site. Complained and was promised a meaningful bouquet as compensation. They eventually arrived and they were worse that the original flowers. Four of the lilies were minus heads the leaves were black and rotting. Took them back to Customer Service myself.
Delivery was appalling too! NEVER AGAIN

Bunch of Stress & No Flowers!!!

Absolutely disgusted with Bunches Direct Canada!!!!!
My best friend is getting married tomorrow.
Flowers were ordered well in advance and following their instructions and were to be delivered yesterday.
Didn't happen. Trying to get ahold of someone for an answer resulted in promises to call back with info then nothing.
Today their solution to not delivering the flowers yesterday was for US to drive 3hrs roundtrip from Red Deer to Camrose because apparently they can't find any delivery mechanism. And they would look into a discount.
Are you kidding??!!
Absolutely unacceptable and horrendous customer service.

We did find some lavender roses at this place and this woman has been amazing at Cherry Grove Florist in Wetaskiwin.
Honestly only if you enjoy incompetence and uselessness and feel like wasting your time and raising your blood pressure would I recommend this place. Possibly if you have to order flowers for that jerk you hate at work. Then go for it. Otherwise go anywhere else.

Wish I had not gone with Bunches Direct

For my July 7th, 2017 Toronto wedding, I ordered loose greenery and a bridal bouquet from bunches direct.
Originally, when placing my order the service was fast, efficient and pleasant.
Instead of arranging a delivery, I decided to pick everything up the evening before the wedding, while on the way to my rehearsal dinner.
The greenery was as expected. The custom bouquet was not.

Originally, I had provided a picture of what I was looking for, keeping in mind that it would not end up looking exactly like the professional photo, I just wanted something similar. They handed me a bouquet that looked nothing like what I had ordered with none of the flowers I had ordered inside. Understanding that sometimes substitutions have to be made, however of the 10 flowers that I selected and paid for, only two peonies were actually inside.

After an hour or so of trying to find a solution, they offered to provide me with a partial refund on the flowers that were not provided...keeping in mind only 2 flowers I ordered were present their partial "refund" was offensive and not reflective of any of this.

They ended up having to make me an entirely new bouquet using whatever they could find available in their warehouse, although beautiful, it was exactly what I didn't want. At the time I was an hour late for my rehearsal and out of options...so much so, that pricing was provided to me for the new bouquet over the phone while was I was rushing to get to my rehearsal dinner. This is when I was told it was going to be $115. The quality and flowers in this makeshift bouquet was not worth $115...but no other compensation was offered. I said I'd bring it back and they told me I'd have to bring it back before closing which they knew was impossible considering my circumstances.

This company took advantage of the time sensitive nature of my bridal bouquet greenery and left me with little to no options, and failed to see any issue doing so.

Please do not waste your time and money with this company, I wish I never had...because of their mistake, I was late for my rehearsal dinner and had to settle for something I would have never purchased in the first place but had no other options, a day before my wedding.

No bride needs this amount of stress over something so unimportant in the grand scheme of things.

The price will originally seem affordable, especially for a DIY bride, but the poor quality, bad customer service, and disrespect is not worth your energy....especially on your wedding day...leave it to the professionals.

Very poor

I ordered a bouquet for my wife, to be delivered on our wedding anniversary.
They did not turn up on the day requested. i received an email advising that DPD had tried to deliver, but no-one was at home to sign for them and that a card had been left. This was patently untrue as someone was at home all day and no card was received. The flowers were delivered very late the next day, having just been left on the front doorstep (not what I had asked for).
The flowers themselves were very disappointing and in poor dehydated condition. I could (and should) have picked nicer ones from our garden. I would certainly have got much nicer and better flowers from a local supermarket, or even fuel station!

I will not use this company again.

I ordered my wedding flowers months in …

I ordered my wedding flowers months in advance. And expected them June 16 a day before the wedding. I took the day off to insure I was home like the website states. I got home from work at 5:30 on the 15th and the flowers were sitting in my (so hot!) sunporch! They had been there all day I assume. I called when I realized I had not gotten a bunch of flowers , the lady said she would look into it and let me know. (This was true, and I was refunded for the one bunch I did not get, that being said no one followed up or called) I also mentioned to the lady all my blush roses looked moldy and not useable, she said not to worry I have to peel of the petals and put them in water over night and they will be better. I said ok I will try. She said nothing about 12 hours... and by then I'm sure it was over 12 hours anyways since the delivery comes early around my place. I took pictures of all the rotten flowers as I worked on them hoping she was right. The next day I saw that there was no difference! I emailed the company asking where I could send pictures, and left for the city to buy 25 new roses. And after that I left it for a day, since I was getting married. I then emailed again and they said they can't do anything as it has been over 12 hours. I then spoke to someone on the phone, and she said I should speak to a manager, but she was away. She would call me back, she never did so I called back but she was away getting married (hope she had great flowers) she called me back when I was at work, when I called back she said she would call me back and still has not. I have to say this is a poor way to do business. I have the pictures time stamped with my iPhone, I called the very day I got them but was turned away, I emailed the next day, and they still say they can't help. If this was a local business they would be out of business, but since you never think to look at reviews until it happens to you it's hard to know what you are getting into. Lesson learned.

The manager received a ;photo of 9 blush roses, and agreed they were in less than ideal condition. She has already refunded you for the 9 roses. If you have more photos that show a higher number of damaged roses, please feel free to send and she will be glad to review those also. We are glad that the rest of the flowers were fine and apologize again for any inconvenience the early delivery caused.

Shocking service and terrible flowers

My flowers were delivered a day late - with no communication from your company that this was the case - and they were in a parlous state when they did finally did arrive.

I placed my order well in advance and was advised that they would be delivered on my selected delivery date, Wednesday 14th June, between 9am - 6pm. I arranged to take this time off work so as to be able to be at home to receive the delivery. The flowers did not arrive. Nor was there any communication - email, phone call, SMS etc - from Bunches Direct as to a reason why my flowers were delayed or when delivery could be expected. The next day it was I who had to chase the Bunches Direct. I emailed Bunches Direct at 2 different email addresses provided on their website. I utilised the live chat but got no response and was disconnected twice. I also called Bunches Direct several times and when I finally did speak to a member of their team I was advised that they were unable to view the status of my order. I was then provided with a different email address (which I note was not advertised anywhere on their website) to send my query to. I was also told that a response could take 24 hours! In my frustration, I attempted your live chat once again and after 40 minutes finally received a response that the progress of my order was being investigated, before being disconnected again.

Much to my surprise, my order did arrive later that day but my frustration only grew when I discovered that the flowers were of deplorable quality. All were dying or already dead. One whole bunch of the calla lilies had rot in their stems. Several other flowers had completely rotten stalks. This is unacceptable! The service and quality of the goods Bunches Direct have provided me with are shockingly substandard. I have since read the many terrible reviews they have received online and only wish I had done so before I had placed my order. I have requested a full refund...but of course... I await their response. I could not possibly impress upon future customers enough that should STAY AWAY!!

UPDATE: Bunches Direct have since asked for photos of the condition of my flowers...which I had attached to my original complaint email without them requesting it. I then resent the photos when they finally replied and requested them and they still can't get their act together!

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever. Please do not deal with this online florist. They are not selling what they are advertising. I order flowers for a wedding tomorrow, June 10th 3017 i got them on Thursday about 3:30. They arrived in a box all crushec, most rotten and smelly. It look as thought they were in the heat.
When i contacted the company for the first time they have the most pleasant person on the phone who is eager to sell you flowers. I asked the lady (Krista) many times what will happen if the flowers arrived damage, her answer was " its not a problem we will replacement right away because we have a florist downtown" never told me anything about this ridiculous idea of taken picture of each stem and send it to them to get a refund. With what time would i have to take pictures of each stem when i am running around getting quotes to replace the garbage flowers that bunchditect sent me. No wonder the review given to this company is a "1" star out of 10. Wow that is horrible.
I have read the reviews and it is disgusting the stories people have had and the disappointing experiences. $265 is a lot of money to waste, but the worst is the lack of support from these people despite they are very well aware that the flowers that were delivered were indeed in very bad conditions, rotten and smelly. They expect me to take pictures of each damaged picture and send it in within 12 hours. I have to deal replacing these damage flowers and they expect me to waste my time with their silly procedures and rules.
Please, please refrain from dealing with this company. I myself run a company that provides service to people and our customers/clients are the most important factor for us. We go extramile to make sure our clients are happy and that they stay with us forever.

We ask for photos so that our managers can see what was sent and how the courier treated the product, as flowers are perishable,. We understand that a wedding is a busy time but we do need a photo so we can see what exactly is the damage. Our managers reviewed all the photos you sent and most of the items were in perfect condition. There were a few stems with browning which we acknowledged and apologized for, and for which you were fully refunded. If there had been time to resend these stems we certainly would have done so, but did not receive the photos right away . BunchesDirect is a long standing and very reputable company and we stand behind our products and excellent service. We review and reply to each and every customer issue and our customers are very important to us -- we assist in any way we can, often going above and beyond the policies. Don't be suckered into working with …

Don't be suckered into working with them! I'm really surprised anybody gave this company a good review. I was foolish to think that any company that advertises with The Knot would be a legitimate company. However, I paid for flowers in April, spoke with the representative that the flower order was available and coming, I was obviously charged for the service.....but my flowers never arrived. I understand delays and errors happen, but I've given this company several chances. I've called requesting a refund, they agreed (since they verified my flowers were never sent) and waited. The refund never appeared, I'd call, they'd promise I'd receive within 2 days. It wouldn't arrive, I'd even wait 4 days, and then call back. Nothing. I tried a couple more times, finally a representative told me they had an issue with their paypal not working correctly and I'd receive the refund overnight. that was days ago. Save yourself a headache and your money- don't work with this company!!! update- as of 5.31.17 I still have not received the refund that the company claims to have processed on 5.26.17. I even called my bank to make sure there wasn't some kind of hold on their end. there has been no activity. also, the company has NOT emailed a copy of the transaction as they have claimed below. Do we need any further proof that this company is a scam? if I actually ever do receive my reimbursement I'll happily re-edit this review for consumers to see an accurate reflection of how long a transaction with this company takes.

3 days before our daughter's wedding …

3 days before our daughter's wedding things started to go wrong...calls to them would not get through... online chatting was of no help... my daughter is so stressed...READ THE REVIEWS 50% of 94 reviews on this site GIVE THEM A 1 star . DO YOUR RESEARCH
The Details: Well they emailed 3 days before the wedding to tell us that 2 items could not be filled. The flowers arrived 2 days before the wedding ...and the order was a disaster. 3 of 8 items were missing, 1 item would not live to the wedding, they had substituted 2 items with another totally different colour flower... a disaster! Called the company and all they said was sorry and they would refund. They have left us really stuck and scrambling on such an important day....this is simply unacceptable service and can only say that this is a company that just can not be relied upon for anything significant in your life. Again, do your research, they have a ton of 1 star customers...one more today. This father of the bride learned a hard lesson...learn from mine and many others who made the same mistake by ordering flowers from them for an important event. I will update once I get the refund. Doubled charged me and has not refunded …

Doubled charged me and has not refunded the money wouldn't cancel my order. If I can't trust them to refund me from proof of a double charge how can I trust them to deliver my flowers so unhelpful and extremely unhappy

I had the absolute worst experience …

I had the absolute worst experience with this company. They never delivered my wedding flowers. I tried calling them the day before myh wedding and was repeatedly told they could not help me. I was hung up on several times and my online chats were ended several times. the customer service is non existent. Never order form these people. My wedding day was so stressful as a result of having to run around on the day of my wedding looking for flowers. I never received an explanation .other than that my order was missed. I ordered n February for a may wedding. i got nothing in the way of compensation except they did refund me. unprofessional,uncaring company. Stay away!!!

Horrible experience

Horrible experience, rotten flowers and rotten customer service. I have opened a dispute with the Credit Card and with Better Business Bureau.
