Smooth transaction and processing.

Purchase took a while but otherwise a smooth experience overall. Big shoutout to Butters for helping!

Used Buy&Ship’s BuyForYou proxy service for a second-hand, discontinued perfume that I had spent significant time sourcing. The item arrived at the Hong Kong warehouse and was flagged as prohibited.

Instead of presenting the available options (third-party collection, release to a local Hong Kong address, or disposal) and asking for my preference, options that appear to have been offered to other customers in similar situations, they immediately processed a refund without discussion. This would have been acceptable if the item were easily replaceable. It is not.
After the refund, I followed up multiple times, politely and clearly, requesting that the physical item be released for third-party collection or to a local Hong Kong address. I was willing to arrange and cover all costs. I also noted that similar cases had received these alternatives.

What I received instead were repeated vague replies (“still checking”, “we will follow up with the team”) for over a week, even after the rest of the consolidated shipment had already been released and delivered. Responses were limited to roughly one per day at best, and support continued responding to other simple tickets while this one went quiet.

The refund itself required prompting, a correction because the initial amount was short, and two requests to have it returned to my original payment method instead of store credit.

The core failure is the handling of the physical item once it was already at the warehouse, and the clear inconsistency in how these cases are treated across customers. For a service that markets proxy shopping, the lack of timely, transparent options on a non-replaceable item is unacceptable.

Good customer service but shipping very slow take 1month ++

Terrible. They can’t help with delivering my perfume. Instead of helping me forwarding it to a company that can in China, they let me do it myself even though I have paid them to send it to my country. Fraudulent company. You can check the google review of their warehouse in Hong Kong. Even the locals are hugely dissatisfied.
