It's the old saying of, "bait & switch"!
I was told that my I-phone 15 pro was valued at $511, if it's in flawless, mint condition. My phone was in that condition, it appeared like it was the day I bought it!
Flawless, mint tucks you into a tiny catagory.
Having selected that, they think, "we have to find something." So they sent me a picture of a phone, ( was it mine? I don't know) with a blurry smudge mark on my screen, claiming that it was caused by a black spot on my camera lens. I declined their next 2 offers and asked to have it sent back. They did.
I immediately went to my local Apple store and asked about that claim. Not only was their "black spot" claim unproven but Apple offered me $400! That was on top of their first offer of $145, the next was $219 and the third was $245; their final!!
I will deal with another company that will not scam me. Thank you!!

We mention on our website that our Flawless cosmetic condition is for devices with no signs of wear on the screen or body of the device and is fully functional.
We mentioned in our email to you that unfortunately, due to a battery with a charge capacity below 80% of the original charge capacity, your order was graded into our Faulty condition category. I noticed you received your package back to your residence yesterday, were you able to review the battery settings of your device to confirm our findings? You can find the battery settings by navigating to settings -> battery -> battery health and then by reviewing the percentage value.
We are always happy to provide photos of our findings and additional support to our customers regarding their orders as well as free fast returns for customers that are dissatisfied for any reason. Didn't get paid
Since my original review, Buybackboss stepped up and issued a check. I just got it. I appreciate that they were responsive after the complaint. I am giving three stars since I got paid but it took so much effort. First, I didn't get the gift card until I reached out. When I got it finally, it was a blank card. There was no legitimate code. I reached out a few more times before writing the original review. They need to improve their communication with PrizeOut and stay on until their customers are paid.

Take Photos Because They Will Lie
Update: after showing my before photos, they agreed to give me the originally quoted amount for the phone and watch and returned my MacBook. Then asked me to update my review, so I did. By going from 2 stars to 1.
I will never use them again. And for your own benefit, video and take photos of every single thing about your devices, including the health status of your device. BuybackBoss will lie to undercut you. I had a feeling based on other reviews, so I took pictures of my devices (iPhone, Apple Watch and MacBook Air) before I shipped them. I charged my phone to 100% which they claimed it could not. My phone was perfect cosmetically- no scratches, scuffs or any other markings. Speaker worked which they also claimed did not work (hello, I made phone calls to check it). I also checked the battery health which said good and no servicing alerts which they claimed my battery needed servicing. They claimed my watch had several scratches on the screen. It had 1 scratch not scratches. The claimed that the MacBook had not been removed from my Apple Account , which it hadn't so I erased and removed it from my account. They then claimed it still had not been done which it had. They mailed it back to me, I took it to a store to have a professional remove it so I could try selling it again (definitely not to Buyback) but they said it was already erased and removed. That's funny because Buyback said the opposite. Overall, they tried to reduce my quote by over $200. I rejected their new cheat quote and asked for all of my devices back. I wish I could submit photos here. I will not use them again.

Bait and Switch?
I received an on line estimate of $70 for my Iphone 8 Plus. I shipped it to Buy Back Boss. A couple of days later I received a message from them saying they would offer me $18 for the phone , indicating that the phone was cracked in the back. I asked for them to send a picture of said damage because I was not aware of any wear and tear on the phone. Particularly because the phone was always kept in a wallet/carrying case. The picture they sent me was not one of my phone. The phone pictured did indeed have damage like they said but it wasn't my phone. I didn't bother fighting it- they said they would offer me $30 for the trouble-a far cry from the $70 on-line amount I was initially quoted. My advice is if you use this service take pictures of your phone BEFORE sending it to any Buy Back phone service. At least you will have a record of what your phone actually looks like and can contest any estimate discrepancies.

The process of getting a quote was very easy and fast. Just a couple questions and I had my quote and it was the highest out there. I have used BuyBack Boss before so I knew I could trust them. I sent off my phone and as soon as they received it, I was contacted and told I would receive an email within a few hours with the instructions to get my money deposited into my bank.
