Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 53 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers frequently stated that initial price estimates provided online were often adjusted once devices arrived at their facility and were evaluated. People also encountered extreme payment delays, waiting several weeks or even months without receiving their money while receiving vague internal backlog excuses from support. Though some customers faced prolonged difficulties and unresponsive communication, a small group of reviewers mentioned that they eventually received their funds after persistent follow-ups. Reviewers also noted that reaching a human agent during these stressful disputes proved extremely difficult when left on hold for extended periods.

They admit phone not waterproof and not covered by guarantee

We purchased a phone via Amazon. It was renewed and on the products page said was water resistant upto 2m and 30mins. it was dropped into water for a couple of seconds and does not work - We sent it back. They said that their products are NOT water resistant when renewed as they have to break the seal when they check them out - OK, but don't sell them saying they ARE water resistant. They are saying they are just piggybacking onto Amazon's listing - which is only for renewed phones with a selling point of water resistancy. I being told unlucky, no refund or replacement. NOT IMPRESSED. Surely this cannot be right ?

Untrustworthy Seller

I have never seen such an unfair seller before. I bought IphoneX in June and in exactly 30 days it stopped working. I was very unclucky as I was travelling to my homecountry when this happened. Therefore, I could not return the phone in 30 days due to unaccessability to Amazon in my homecountry and also due to coronavirus restrictions. When I returned the UK I told them my problem and asked them for a full-refund. However, they rejected me and asked me to return the phone for repair. I returned the phone, but in a couple of days they sent me the pictures of the phone by claiming that I had got repaired the phone by a third party. However, this is not the case. They claimed that there are fingerprints inside the phone. The problem is that it is the renewed phone so it is possible to see fingerprints inside. Plus, maybe they left them there when they tried to repair it. Their language is soooo rude and they blame the customers instead of saying sorry. Then, I contacted Amazon and they also very dissapointed me and believed the seller. I now will stop my membership to Amazon as I lost trust to them as well. At the end, I have no phone and I lost £427. I had to travel without my phone and I have been put a very difficult situation. Please never buy anything from Buyur if you don't want to be cheated.

Be aware, be very aware

Be very wary of this company. They sold me an iPhone 7 with a catastrophic fault. It first kept loosing service connectivity and then closed down completely. All of this within 10 days. Their antics seem to be motivated by avoiding a refund, without testing the phone they blamed a plug that has been charging five iOS devices without problem. Thankfully Amazon has acted honourably and refunded me. I would not trust Buyur and could never recommend them other than as an example of a company to be avoided for products and service

After ordering a printer online and paying at checkout we received contact after some days to say the item was not in stock and we asked for a refund. With in less than a week a printer arrived and which we returned and spoke to Buyur and again asked fro a refund. A second call was necessary but thankfully a refund has now been received.

Very dodgy

Very dodgy. If there's any problems it's all about their money instead of customer service.

A disappointing first order, but a decent customer service response & resolution -

StarTech HDD/SSD enclosure - ordered & arrived - greatly disappointed as it was missing parts and showed signs of wear with some items out of packaging and loose, all suggesting it was a used item, one star at most. However, on letting the company know they were quick to respond with an apology and a just resolution, though no explanation. So, up a few stars to 3 or 4, but as I'm OK with the conclusion, four stars. That said, sadly, this order arriving in the condition it was in completely dissolved trust in any future business.

Company charged me for unseal the box £10.30

Don’t purchase from this Buyur. I returned a monitor that I had carefully unpackaged. When I turned it on it was clear I had made an error in my purchase, the screen was small. When buying online you don’t have sight of the goods so on occasions the purchase made in good faith isn’t what you had hoped for. I carefully rePackaged the monitor in the old packing and was happy to pay the return postage. The company wrote to me informing me that as I had opened the package and used the box I would incurr a 10 % charge about 10.30 pounds. I involve Amazon and got my full refund
