Cabify in Valencia consistently drops prospective riders. This did not happen in my previous visits to Valencia, but this has become an annoying and time-consuming occurrence, and I will not be using Cabify from this point forward. It is no longer competitive with taxis in the city.
Don’t bother if you’re from the UK
I wanted to download the app as I have heard that it’s not easy nor cheap to get a taxi in Spain.
Downloaded Cabify. Went to create ana count. Asked me to put my mobile number in so chose the UK prefix. Doesn’t work. Reached out for help… no response (as yet).
Read some reviews online of people who are also struggling with the same issue.
Fair enough Cabify doesn’t operate in all countries, but why offer the option of creating an account if it is not going to be possible.

I was quoted 71€ but was charged 95€ from Malaga airport - the first driver cancelled after I had waited for him for over 10 mins and the second driver came another 10 mins later and the charge on his phone was 95€.

I am writing this to express my immense frustration and anger regarding the exorbitant fee I was forced to pay to retrieve my misplaced keys from one of Cabify’s vehicles. The sheer audacity of Cabify's pricing policy in such situations is not only unethical but also indicative of a complete lack of consideration for it’s customers.
Yesterday, I inadvertently left my keys inside a Cabify car during a trip. Realizing my mistake, I immediately contacted the customer support to report the incident and seek assistance in retrieving my keys. Instead of offering a helpful solution or displaying any shred of empathy, I was informed that I would be required to pay a staggering 15€ fee for the return of my own property.
Let me be clear: this fee is utterly unjustifiable. I understand that a certain level of compensation might be necessary to cover the time and effort involved in retrieving lost items. However, charging 15€ for a simple key retrieval is an egregious display of greed and a blatant exploitation of it’s customers' vulnerability.
This experience has shattered my confidence in Cabify as a reputable and customer-centric company.
I will never use it’s services again.

I accidentally cancelled a booked taxi journey and was initially charged for the journey as it was outside of the guideline hours for cancellation.
I immediately wrote to CS in the chat function and a lovely lady Yvonne dealt with me right away and despite the t&cs refunded me the charge.
Super impressed and surprised by this service. Usually use Uber / Free now but will def use cabify again after this excellent service.

Cabify places unwanted scripts on phones
I’ve never used Cabify but Cabify infiltrated my phone and inserted pop up into Google maps that disabled the app. THIS IS EVIL! Do not patronize a morally corrupt company. Had to delete google maps and reinstall.

No drivers available or even if they are they won’t take jobs or just cancel. Then left wondering whether would be charged or not. 6 weeks travelling around Ecuador, Colombia and Central America and wasn’t able to get a single cabify driver. Other well known app worked well when available in those towns and cities.

We used Cabify (taxi) in Valencia and they charged us twice. In the first instance the driver didn't show up and cancelled the trip and Cabify charged us. When we ordered a new taxi the same driver showed up and the result was that we were charged twice. I asked the driver if he can cancel the initial fee and he said that we will need to contact Cabify. I asked the driver if he can provide a phone number of the company and he said that there is no phone number and that we should wait for the trip to finish to be able to use the app and contact Cabify.

I ask a car with a baby seat.
When the driver arrived he wasn’t even able to close the belt of the baby seat. He told me that it was the first time he was using it.
When I received the receipt I read that the 2€ of the baby seat were on me and moreover I had to pay 8 min extra time because of my late. In reality I was on time but the driver spent 8 minutes trying to fasten the seat belt.

I am not sure about the other reviews but for me, I had the best experience with Cabify. Booked a 5.30 am ride to airport two days in advance and was assigned a driver. There was a change in driver the day before but this has not affected the experience at all. Driver was puntual and was friendly. We arrived at the airport with no issues. Would strongly recommend booking with this company, Just a note - this was for Cabify in Madrid.
Only works in cities and aiports
Only place this worked was in the center of cities and at airports. I reserved twice (in advance) for airport runs which were canceled at the last minute. The second cancelation was the last straw. When I told them to delete my details, they tried to suggest I could just delete the app, thereby retaining customer records for their investors. The only was for this service to get better is for dissatisfied customers to insist on deleting their records. That way the company's investors can see just how bad things have got, and replace the management team.

I’m now back in the UK, my hotel have agreed to post them to me if the driver leaves them at the hotel, but he isn’t keen to do so it seems …
… AND Cabify have said that I need to pay him €15 euros for him to return them.
In my opinion this is Extortion! I’m in disbelief that he won’t drop them at the hotel next time he passes nearby, and that Cabify haven’t encouraged him to do so, and are now asking to be reimbursed for my item.
I’ll wait to see if they can change my opinion of their company.
Their tagline is “own the city” sounds like they “own my sunglasses” now.

pre booking does not work
Unfortunately service which was previously great is now unusable.
Rather than get a pre booked driver ready at time of booking the service does not start looking for a pre booked driver until 10 minutes before pickup. Inevitably there is no one available and ride gets cancelled. Defeats the point of a pre book!!!

Garbage App, Garbage Customer Service, Do Not Use
Requested a ride at Barcelona airport. The driver was nowhere to be seen. I double-checked with airport personnel that I was in the right place and the app even showed that I was in the right location.
The driver never tried to contact me and canceled the ride. I then get a charge for ten Euros for services not rendered. Customer service basically told me to pound sand and offered me a 15 percent discount on a future fare.
This has never, ever happened to me in the dozens of times that I have used Uber and Lyft.
