Cablemod seems like a scamming company. For 5 days the "shipping company DPD" have had my parcel in custody and nothing have happened yet. Should have been around the world and back at this point. Money have been withdrawn, but if nothing happens the next few days, I will cancel the order, buy rights of danish and EU laws.

I bought their CableMod E-Series ModMesh Classic Cable Kit for EVGA G5 / G3 / G2 / P2 / T2 - White. Their kit is absolutely garbage, the cables are half the size of the factory cables that came with my psu when they’re advertised as “replacements”. I reached out to the company the day the cables came in saying I need a refund because they don’t work and was told because I opened the box I can’t return them which is absurd to me. How the hell am I supposed to make sure the product I bought works if I can’t take them out of the box, I didn’t even take them out of the zip lock bags they send them in. Buy cables from a different company these guys are a total scam I wish I would have looked at more reviews before purchasing this garbage.

They do not want to send me normal invoice from their company to my company. I can not put order confirmation in my accountant booklet. They wrote me this: Unfortunately this is the only invoice we have, we cover duties and taxes on the order for this reason. This is first time that somebody do not want to send official invoice, even if I paid from my company account.

Their EU Store ships from China, and you have to pay import duties and VAT on top of your shipping costs.

Tried to modify an order was told could not modify it but can cancel then re-order so i said ok cancel and then i will re-order next day received email saying order been shipped then another email saying to late to cancel order shipped despite being told at beginning that it would take approx. 20 days before shipping . the overpriced shipping costs make it unviable to return yet i can order parts half the price and get free shipping from china

They cant edit orders and despite 2-4 weeks of production time refuse cancelation after a few days. EU website ignores common EU return standards set by law.

After telling me that it would cost $50-$70 to return my $39 part they told me to pound salt. As an IT professional I will never buy or recommend cablemod.com. They DO NOT stand behind the customer experience. Might as well just throw your money out the window.

Received a defective 24pin PSU cable. Validated it was defective, contacted support. Was told that a replacement would be shipped but nothing even with repeated requests for update after a month. Disputed charges and gave up on CableMod.

Great experience!!! Bought the new 12vhpwr cable. Ordered it on 12/24/22 and the site said should ship by 1/23/22 and got it on 12/30/22. Great shipping from China to US.

I heard great reviews and thought I would include custom cables as part of my new build. Website was easy to use to design my new cables. I shopped from the EU store and decided on expedited shipping which was an extra 30 euros. BE VERY AWARE THAT EXPEDITED SHIPPING COMES DIRECT FROM CHINA AND DOES NOT INCLUDE IMPORT DUTIES OR VAT to the UK. Got a bill from Fedex for £67 for the pleasure of selecting expedited shipping on top of the extra 30 euros I paid for shipping. It wasn't clear when I purchased, only realised it was in the terms after I was checking if the Fedex bill was a scam. £215 on cables only to spend another £67... Hard to swallow, don't think I will get anymore...

I like Cablemod as a company but outsourcing the cables to China is ridiculous. So not only have I waited 33 days for them to ship I now must wait another 15-20 days for them to get delivered (if they do at all since they're from China). I chose the faster option for shipping but it wouldn't let me chose that option because my order total wasn't enough. Why? Why does that matter if I am paying for the shipping? My preference going forward is to find another company to make cables or learn to make them myself.

These people are nothing more than con artists. I trusted them with my money since I placed an order, they took my money, and then it was refunded as I made a claim via the bank.
Today I find out this company has disputed my claim and somehow ended up taking money out of my bank account without consent, warning or anything of the sort. My bank can do nothing about this and now I have literally been robbed by these clowns.

Stay away from them!

Swapped all my gear to a new case and new cablemod cables and started getting issues with hardware and errors as well as crashes.
Ended up getting new motherboard, RAM, and GPU, turns out it was a cable issue.

I HATE you cablemod.

Cables look great and work fine. Customer support is very reactive and shipped (across the Atlantic!) a replacement cable for free without asking for any proof of my cable not working. they are very nice and polite. Product is a bit expensive but I understand why after using their customer support, you pay for a service quality that few companies offer.
10/10 would recommend to friends and buy again for next build.

I bought the C-Series ModFlex Essentials for my Corsair RM550x. It says RMi/RMx. I just can not connect the second 8 pin to 6 pin to my gpu because my 550x has no second 8 Pin. Really disappointing that this is not mentioned anywhere.

I'll definitely avoid cable mod in the future...

Not sure why I paid 180.99 CAD plus tax for cables when I could’ve bought a whole other power supply that has compatibles wires for sale price or cheaper...

Needed cables for my RM850x and I realized the PSU were on sale for 160$ CAD....

This company needs to lower its prices... it’s just some cables like SERIOUSLY ! Feel like I got ripped a new one 🤦

Edit: Their cheaper option is 130-140$ - which is still not worth it if you’re just looking for cables.

You can get 2 Corsair PCIE cables for 36$ CAD after tax and shipping if that’s all someone is looking for.

Where the F*** is my order ? Poor Customer service, I've being waiting since Mid Dec, I ended up buying the cables via a vendor with next day deliver

When I first received my Cablemod Modmesh Kit, I was actually really impressed with the quality of the cables, they bent pretty well and the fabric felt nice.

However, when I plugged them in, the cables would not fit properly, even cut my fingers trying to put them in the PSU. I went to return them, only to be refused a refund because I already opened the box and was told that getting a refund is impossible. Absolute awful experience.

Edit (12/15): Finally managed to get a refund after being told to cut all the cables. This should not be required just to get a refund.

Placed an order which didn’t get processed, but the money was still taken. I had to then contact them to get it manually processed, which took around 3 days. I then received the order around 2 weeks after I first placed it. Problem is over half the order was missing. I contacted their painfully slow customer service, who made me email repeatedly, taking almost a day to reply to each and take multiple pictures, before offering a reshipment. At this point I had wasted far too much time and instead requested a refund, as I wanted to purchase the Cablemod kit via their Amazon store instead, which would reach me within 2-3 days. They repeatedly refused, claiming a refund is ‘impossible’ and insisted I take the replacement. Now why would I take the replacement when it would take 2 weeks to arrive, my order already being messed up twice, and I had to spend days to get a resolution from them? Still haven’t received my refund. Dreadful experience.

Update: Had to cut the wires, and then received the refund. Still a shame it took a negative review to get a resolution.

Ordered some custom PRO cables on the 31 august send too Denmark today the 24 September I received my cables. a bit long delivery time, but I am happy to have the cables !
